He took the time to look over the car right away, then suggested we go for a quick drive so he could better understand the issue. Try to keep this from getting TLDR. I guess the short story is this place did great work…read more I bought a used car years ago, it had a "performance" muffler on it. After putting up with the loud exhaust for a couple years, I was done. I went to a place that was closer to me at the time, and they put a stock muffler on it. Still had a little rumble, but told not much to do about it. Job well done, or so I thought. Few years later, I start noticing a rattle on startup. It's not bad, it goes away after warm up. I carry on. Few months ago, it gets worse, still goes away, but I think I might have a transmission issue. Friend of mine I'm telling about it said he had the same thing once and he had a broken bracket on his exhaust system. I get under and see this mess. Cracked welds, pipe separated from the muffler. Also, they didn't install a mounting support above the pipe, probably one of the reasons it broke. Well, not going back to that place. I did a little research, and Big Johns looked like the best place. Little out of my way, but I wanted to make sure this time things went better. I believe John was there when I arrived, and had another guy who worked with him. I mentioned the whole problem, plus said it was still a little loud. He suggested a slightly bigger muffler, plus he installed a bracket support where the other place hadn't, and also redid the other two supports that were in place. The new supports were obviously more heavy duty. It did the trick. Also, I noticed my car was running better and a couple of issues had gone away. Car is now running like it did before all this started, and it's the quietest it's ever been. Charged me $200 and it was well worth it. At this point, I'm pretty happy. Be aware that when I was there, they only work on one car at a time. I don't know if he utilizes the other garage bay, but they work fast. It took maybe 30 minutes or so to do the job.

One thing you need to have handy to get an estimate are the measurements of the windows. Good thing my house windows are the same sizes which made the whole process easier. The only thing that was not the same size was the patio door. When I talked with James, he replies very fast and very friendly as well. He does an onsite consultation and gets the exact measurements, but unfortunately, I had to work during the week and no internet at the home yet and then of course all my belongings were still in California. However, he did mail me a package of tint to take a look at and all prices are the same no matter what you choose. I decided not to look anywhere else and just went with this company. The prices were great. I had my windows tinted in California and I paid 3 times as much, but then again I did have more windows too. The installer came the following week and got done within 5-6 hours as I had 13 windows to tint. The thing that made the process fast was everything was precut and ready to go and all I had to do was give them the measurements. I am sure I was probably off a little, but they managed to make the windows perfect. Overall, for great prices, awesome service and excellent feel for the house. Well money spent especially for the Texas heat. I will put in pictures later.

Superb Product and Service!…read more Ross Kehl and his team from Holdfast Secruity Screens (sister company of Metro Tint Texas) did an outstanding job on the installation of my first-floor Crimsafe window screens and bi-fold patio doors; I could not have asked for a better experience with such an important improvement to my home. From the sale to the installation, Ross exceeded my expectations. He provided a detailed proposal that beat competitor quotes, yet the lower price was not offset by a cutback in quality or service. Ross took the care to be on site for the installation to ensure that everything was done as promised. His team worked diligently and professionally despite excruciating summer heat. They were always prompt and left my home neat. There was a delay because of the complexity of the bifold doors, but it was worth the wait. Also, there was a mix-up with the colors, but Holdfast kindly offered a discount, and I was happy with the end result. The quality of the Crimsafe screens is excellent.
