They have beautiful stands to set them on -- both high and medium height. They have all the other acouterment as well including hangers, hanging stands, flower food. In addition, they have lots of other plants of all kinds. Fairly knowledgeable, fairly friendly customer service. Sometimes they can be in too much of a hurry to do something else than give good, caring service.

At local nurseries it seems all they have are the varieties that can't germinate outdoors with cold. Your tropical and your Silkie golds etc. John also has other native plants for native birds, butterflies and insects. If you are looking for something I recommend calling him and telling him what you are trying to find. At this time his nursery is not open to the public without an appointment. Though he mentioned that may change. So if you are a monarch butterfly lover and want some native milkweed, give him a call.

Mat took the time to explain the different feed and helped me decide what was best for my old horse. Be aware when buying plants from them. Your best choice is a local grower, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, and others where you can see what you buying, some of them may have generous return policies. My experience: I purchased 4 different plants from them, while they all were kinda on the small side, and much more expensive than from local guys, they were salvageable. So I reached out to customer service and told them about the unhealthy plant. They said: no problem send it back, but they did not provide a shipping label. It's not that I did not just like the plant. the plant was unhealthy with fungus spots on them. i think buying from them locally should not be a problem as you can see what you buy, but stay away from ordering online.

I do not write reviews. Ever, but this was ridiculous…read more Walked in to the shop, was greeted by an indifferent slob hunched over the counter eating rice, which I have no problem with. It was that he made no effort to look up and acknowledge someone had entered the store that seemed a bit dismissive. All I ask is if he carried SM90, I can barely finish asking and he responds with an abrupt, "Nope not here." I ask if he knows who might, he gives me some lame-ass one word response with no context, as if that adequately constituted an answer. I have to basically pry the information out of him; Okay, where is it? "Up Redwood Highway" ALRIGHT. How far is it? You get the picture. Like pulling teeth. Everyone has a bad day now then, who knows, maybe he had low blood sugar or felt like crap, maybe he had to take a crap, I don't know, but what really got me, is he sounded much like an employee, Jeremy, I had already spoken on the phone with the week prior to visiting the store, both the sound of his voice and his salty attitude. I ask him, somewhat frustrated by the blatant unwillingness to do his job, "Are you Jeremy?" and this is actually kind of funny, he snaps back, "Depends on who's asking" Are you serious? I spoke on the phone with you about buying 6 lights earlier this week, ring any bells? Long story short, this supply store doesn't seem like the employees are into it at all. At least rice boy isn't, anyways. I haven't had any interaction with anyone at this supply beyond what I've stated in the review, but I've had the same amount of interaction with the guys at Northern Lights and they have been much more helpful and time spent talking to them was exceedingly more productive than with this jerk. I dont make a habit out of writing reviews but not only had I received this attitude from this guy earlier this week even knowing I wanted $3k worth of lights, he's a jerk in person to anyone who dares to interrupt his doing absolutely nothing with a simple question. Our fabulous general contractor, John Schull, recommended we go here as well as a couple of other places. We looked at their display and found a couple of possibilities. Henry Basilbird Cisio, the owner's grandson, was helping us. He said, "Let me do some research and see what I can find." Two business days later he emailed us the perfect natural stone veneer. I purchased rock for landscaping from a local company in Phoenix, OR. Leave Your Mark When I started working with them, they were extremely nice, helpful and accommodating, I was excited to write a rave review to them after our transaction was completed. Then they delivered the rock. It was full of dirt. The owner Pete, personally came out to our house to see it for himself. He was mortified and very apologetic. He said he would pay for the time my landscapers spent cleaning the rock. He said they would pick it up and deliver new, clean rock next week. This is where it goes bad... he calls me later to say, you can have it free if you want to rinse out the dirt. I agree, unwillingly. He calls back 20 minutes later to say, actually, I will pick it up. Come to find out he sold it. So he would rather go back on his word for $145. So I am not very pleased with him at this point, so I said take it back. He is now not sure he can deliver clean rock next week. When his employees picked it up, they gave me a hard time saying the rock was perfectly fine etc... pretty much being jerks and they end up selling it to my neighbor (which I am glad she got it for a good deal, no delivery fee.) Pete, the owner walks away without paying for the landscapers, he promised to pay. Conclusion- ACCOUNTABILITY, I cannot say it enough. As nice as this local company may seem, be careful of their promises. They do not tend to keep them. I felt lied to and I was accused of lying. When he dropped off the money, he said to Ross, "I am not paying for the landscapers to lay down the weed cover." So he shorted us $20. Note... the landscapers had the weed cover laid down over a week ago.
