There are plenty tables and chairs for large groups. And sofas ( not in good condition at all... but sofas .. yes)... ya... big ones length wise. Pretty noisy actually. Good noise. Cheerful sharing while chilling over drinks and pastries - that kind of noise. Have been craving for fries lately and when I saw Common Bond, was very excited but they didn't carry the thick truffle fries which I was so fond of in the other Common Bond. Still, it was good fries and the staff was very friendly.... many high schoolers doing a summer job so they are super nice. They have a rewards program running - once registered, $spent is $earned in points which can be redeemed later. Staff was friendly and seemed like some of them were high schoolers or sort of, doing summer jobs so they were extra courteous and cautious - it was very much appreciated The fresh pastries were inviting and they had a big menu of other eats too. For me Common Bond and their specialty small dessert cakes went hand in hand. And this bakery did keep up that reputation- they had some sumptuous looking mini cakes. Definitely worth a visit.

I got a lemon glazed cookie which was amazing. Also a loaf of sourdough that made great breakfast sandwiches the next morning. Also got a confetti cookie and brownie. Very happy with every selection and pleasantly surprised that all of this was half off.

I feel they put thought into the blends you could pick from. though it was not clear from the website that afternoon tea only includes hot tea and if you wanted the iced tea it would cost extra. it would be nice for that to be mentioned somewhere because i feel they spent a lot of time outlining all the other details on the website. the service that day was slow, i think there may have been just one server for everyone inside the shop and it was pretty busy. so i think that influenced that side of it. but things happen. overall my experience was great and would love to come back.

This time we didn't have a reservation but we were told we'd be able to dine in 20mins so we walked the shops a bit more. When it was time we got a call to come back and was seated and hosted by , she was sweet. Ordered off the main menu and got a peach tea, which was delicious by itself but I like my teas a little sweet so we got some sugar and honey as sweeteners. We also got the fairy water for the baby girl. (She loves it) The grilled cheese and soup is so tasty and comes out hot which is also good for a soup. The portions (Caprese sandwich and mushroom sandwich) were so filling but we ate it all, even the accompanying salads. We chatted and laughed and had a great afternoon tea in this quaint little restaurant.

I loved the crunch added from the pistachios Dubai chocolate oat latte - 8.5/10 - $7.50 - This was really good, also loved the added pistachios in this but it didnt taste as chocolatey as i expected Tried one of the few coffee shops in the Houston area serving halal options and I wish they had a location near me They have halal pastry options and a lot of unique flavors and signature lattes. That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.
