Took my mom there yesterday because she was craving fried rice. I order from there all the time and the food has always been good but when she got out the car, she returned immediately. I asked her, "What happened?" They had a neon green sign on their door saying, "License Suspended ". Effective 2/26/25. It was puzzling because they were still open and people were in there. TL;DR: Sent both of my children to the hospital. Both of my toddlers have severe peanut allergies, but neither reacts to trace amounts. Cross-contact (poor kitchen practices, sharing a space with someone who has eaten peanuts) has never been an issue. They do just fine on the CTA, at public parks and libraries, and at friends' houses. There's a sign on the way in to mention allergies, suggesting some level of food allergy awareness. My husband mentioned the severe peanut allergy when ordering. Both of my children experienced severe allergic reactions. Not only did they almost die, their lives were shortened by the damage to their hearts and lungs and we will be paying thousands of dollars for their medical care. I've been ordering the spicy orange chicken from here after a coworker bought lunch from here. He was definitely on to something, because the food is always hot and the portions are great. Their specials are a great deal and they can be found on the urbereats app. The only complaint I've ever had out of 5 orders was a missing fortune cookie.
