This is the worst!!!!!! They use to be a good cab service but now they are horrible. I called and they told me 15 mins I then called back 20 minutes later and the dispatch told me in 5 minutes the driver will be at my pickup location. After 10 minutes I called again and a woman answered the phone and told me to hold then she hung up. I will never use them again. Rude and disrespectful!!!!! I have used new experience for manyyy manyyy years maybe like 15-20... but wow do they have HORRIBLE service now. If it's not the person on the phone that's incompetent its the longggg wait. New Experience is exactly what you want in a car service. They have always been on-time regardless of where the pick-up is (Astoria apartment, Manhattan, LGA, JFK, out on LI) and they are very affordable. The drivers are friendly, helpful and communicative when they need to be (you'll have to instigate the idle chit-chat). The cars are always clean and comfortable. They are usually spot on with the AC, so the car is never stifling hot nor teeth rattlingly cold. Good to Know: If you have a wedding out on LI and need a car service to get there, New Experience will drop you off and pick you up without having to pay a driver to sit there the whole time. We paid $120 for the 2 pick-ups vs the $525 ($75/hr) others quoted us. It was like having a designated driver without all the complaining. read more

i've used them consistently for trips to the airport and for other trips to the city or to brooklyn. They're pretty quick to arrive. Cars are good. Drivers have all been fine. I loathe this cab company - no stars. It starts with the telephone receptionist who at best will snap at you, at worst hang up after 2 words if he can't understand you (to be fair their English is atrocious). Then we get onto pricing which they will only reveal after the car has started moving and after a long conversation with HQ - talk about a captive market. When the price is finally revealed it is invariably at least 10 to 12 dollars more than a typical 20 dollar cab fare lic to midtown east through the tunnel not including fare. When you point all of this out you often get a mouthful abuse. Anyway I'm done - no more. Luckily there are more and more green and yellow cabs in the LIC area. read more

Horrible experience. Do not use this car service!!! New Experience is exteremely sketchy. I used this car service for a quick ride from Long Island City to Midtown East. The drive cost $25, which I thought was reasonable, though sligthly higher than other local car services. The driver picked me up in a minivan that was filthy on the inside. The van had no shocks, so the drive was incredibly bumpy and uncomfortable. When we got to my destination the driver could not provide me with a receipt. He offered me a receipt from a different car service. I actually called New Experience afterwards to confirm that he had worked for them since he represented to me that he had. They confirmed that he was an employee but then asked for a lot of my personal information which I refused to give. I've had much better experiences with other local car services that provide great service, clean towncars, and can provide reciepts at the end. New Experience is a crappy car service, with crappy cars, and crappy customer service. read more
