Never had Worsened experience like this ever before. Yesterday was my first day of leasing yellow cab from them. I was told by Mr. Steve a the time of signing docs that $105 will be charged on daily basis in aid of lease & that's it, nothing else will be charged. I even asked if there are any other hidden charges on top of $105 which I should be aware of, he clearly said No, there's nothing else. I accepted the terms, signed the docs, drove cab entire day, made $191, came back to garage at the shift end with the hope that $105 will be taken in aid of lease & rest $86 will come to my pocket but Guess what, it will blow you out, the guy Mr. Rehman who checked me out, gave me only $39 & as a justification, he gave me following breakdown:
- $105 for lease
- $5.01 Sales
- $7.00 Credit Card Fees
- $36.00 MTA
NONE OF THE CHARGES mentioned above were explained to me except lease amount.
I'm throwing this question to all of you out there. Let's just say you make $191 after finding & dealing the tough passengers throughout the day & at the end of the day, out of those $191 you're given lollipop of only $39, how would you feel?
That's exactly was happened with me. I was not even given the amount of my tip which was $46. Check this out which is Icing on the cake, Mr. REHMAN who dealt me at the time of checkout was not only rude but was also highly disrespectful, inattentive listener, ill-mannered, impolite, discourteous, unethical, careless & 100% incompetent for this job. When I asked how can they charge these hefty fees which I was never communicated any of them, he said I don't care, TLC should have walked you through on these charges in their class. When I said, I took TLC class in 2017 at the time of obtaining my license, in reply he said then you should go there for a refresher, it's not their job to explain these charges. Whole garage was echoing with his voice & he was doing nothing but yelling at me the entire time. Like they say when you argue with an illiterate person, you yourself become illiterate, so instead of replying in his own tone, I decided to walk away by putting $39 back on the cash counter & by saying that I'll come back & speak with Mr. Steve who was supposed to tell me about these charges at the time of signing up. I'll go probably tomorrow or day after & will update my reviews after speaking with them read more
