This hasn't been our experience at other nail salons. We returned today purely for convenience since we were already at the shopping center and didn't have time to go elsewhere, especially with my daughter's musical tomorrow. The total came to $50, which felt a bit high, though we accepted it because she chose to add a 10-minute foot massage. However, the service itself was also lacking. My daughter typically receives three coats of clear polish (two base coats, the white tip, and a final top coat), but today she only received two clear coats, which likely contributed to the poor durability. At checkout, I paid by credit card and was charged a $2 merchant fee. I also left a $5 tip on the card since I didn't have cash. The staff member processing the payment pointed out that they "expect" at least an 18% tip and indicated an amount closer to $10 on the receipt. I want to be clear, I'm not against tipping. I regularly tip, and I'm happy to tip generously when the service is exceptional. However, tipping should remain voluntary, not pressured or expected. If a certain percentage is required, it should simply be built into the pricing to avoid uncomfortable situations. This was our third and last visit to Pacfe. Unfortunately, this is not a place we would return to or recommend.

When I called to make an appointment, I let them know I was a first-time customer for them. I was warmly welcomed and given an appointment that worked with my schedule for the next day. When I got there I checked in on Yelp and was so excited to see a 10% off coupon for first-time customers. That excitement was quickly deflated when I was advised that they were not honoring it any more and they have asked Yelp to take it down but they haven't. Unfortunately, this was where they lost a star in my rating. :( Despite that, the experience was very relaxing, calm & professional. We didn't feel rushed at all, which I really liked. On this visit, we splurged on a mani pedi for both myself and my daughter. We were both very pleased with not only their care and service in our experience but with the overall appearance of our nails. We'll see how long it lasts. I arrived early 10:30am for a fill in on a set of nails that were 3 weeks old & holding on for dear life. I had French Ombre done at another salon that was chunky, uneven and there was a solid contrasting line between the white & pink. I feel like he could tell the job was super poor so instead of just a fill in; he completely filed them off and rebuilt my nails from scratch. Precision was everything. I felt like my nails were going through a surgery. Every nail was cared for with such great attention to detail; it doesn't matter what direction I turn my hand these nails are straight & shaped beautifully! I got French ombre again with fire flames design. Check out the pictures; they're perfect! He really cared about every nail matching. Even the flames all sway together in unison. I accepted a neck massage, 10 min for $10, because once he started there was no way I could say no! He paid attention to a knot in my back that felt incredible. Getting my nails done & getting a massage was the peak of the experience. I thought, why don't other salons EVER offer massages? Such a smart add on. Two other women accepted massages simply because it was offered! I loved it. I felt so pampered. The salon was clean, they use vacuums to brush away the file debris. I found the experience from a customer service perspective to be a bomb. The manager seemed harried and rushed and not respectful of my appt time. Ditto to the tech who did my pedicure who seemed pained by having to do my pedicure. I sat in the chair waiting for her to do a pedicure I had scheduled. In total, there was 30 minutes of wait time between the two appointments not because of the scheduling but the mismanagement of this salon. I would never return, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the time.
