Not only did I find what was looking for, I was able to find a Nivea Care lotion gift set. The lady at the cashier was very friendly and helpful. She explained to me how I can earn points with their shoppers card and get a discount. There was no form to fill out. She simply scanned a new card. I registered it online when I came home. Their hours are great, too. They are open until midnight. They even have a post office (Canada Post) inside. Yesterday I was at this location and made a simple return and purchase of a more expensive item. I…read moredebited my purchase with my bank card and the POS machine showed that it was approved. The cashier however could not get the register to print a receipt so she called the manager. The manager insisted that the purchase amount did not go through the system so once again I made the purchase with their POS direct debit system. After returning home, I checked my bank account online and indeed the purchase had gone through twice. I returned today and spoke to their Dept. Manager Chris, who looked up the information on their system and told me that it was only charged once, even though I had printed proof of my banking statement with me. He then proceeded to call my bank and they would only speak to me about the information but insisted that yes indeed, I had paid twice! He still would not refund the one amount and insisted that I had to wait until he had received information from his head office about the situation. This was totally unacceptable and a very disappointing way of treating the customer even though he was the one that made the telephone call to my bank and I also came with the written proof from my account that I had indeed been charged "twice". Unbelievable customer service!!!!!

I went in to ask about cameras and he seemed annoyed with me even showing up. When I asked about a certain model (almost $2,000 worth) - one I was serious about trying and buying, he said they didn't have it. Thankfully the young girl working there pointed out it was there. I brought my own lenses to try out as I wanted to see if the camera suited my needs as I do videography as well as photos. He seemed to not want to answer any of my questions (I'm guessing he didn't know the answers) and when I asked to try using the camera, he ignored me and fiddled around with buttons for a minute.. I asked again twice if I can try the camera and finally he let me. Less than 2 minutes later while standing there in silence, he took the camera from me and started helping a girl that showed up asking about a $100 camera. He didn't excuse himself. He just ignored me and helped her! When he finally came back to me 3 minutes later, I tried taking some photos but it wasn't working. He couldn't get it working either. I wanted to shift to another camera then. I gave him back the camera, he put it in the cabinet and walked away as I was asking to see another camera! He came back a few seconds later and I asked _again_ about another camera; he clearly didn't want to show me anything and didn't want to help. In fact he seemed irritated with the entire 15 minutes I was there. Managers, this employee needs some customer service training! The young girl was willing to help me; asking questions, but he cut her off and made me not want to ever come back. I'll take my $2,000 elsewhere.

Everyone here shows by their actions that they genuinely care about your well being. You get the feeling that everyone, especially the owner/head pharmacist take great pride in the welfare of their customers as a whole. Whether it's giving you a critical printout of all the information about your prescription, to giving an extra moment of their time to someone who just needs a bit of reassurance and that human touch at a time when they really aren't at their best. Most people who come to this pharmacy are getting a rx to help deal with a particular ailment or condition, and the staff show you that they are committed to ensuring that you receive the best possible treatment and information possible. I am being unusually effusive because twice, through information given from the staff was I able to make a moreI informed decision about a treatment proscribed by my doctor. I feel they saved me from a host of problems further down the road if I hadn't been made aware of the full spectrum of effects of certain meds. I can honestly say I would (and routinely do) trust them with my family's and my life.
