Parking is available on the side of the building. It is also a short walk from SkyTrain (Metrotown). Not sure if this pharmacy carries everything as it's pretty small. However, I was able to pick up what I needed without dealing with lineups typically associated with the larger chains. Pricing seemed in line as well. Staff were friendly as well.

I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

Roomie from a past life referred this pharmacy to order prescription drugs. Obviously, an…read more"over-seas" pharmacy wasn't my first priority since I'm in the states. After some extensive research with costs in the states, other American mail-order companies, it made sense to give Medisave.ca a go. You can check out their website for OTC (over the counter) and RX (prescription required) designations. Check out the price and quality of contents (generic v. brand and % of doses). If Medisave carries the prescription you need, get the appropriate documentation from your doctor, fax or have the doctor call it in. There is a toll free # (877) 888 3784. Just remember the time change since its "west coast" Canada. Give them the credit card information and wait 1-2 weeks for shipment to arrive. Personally, I've always received my prescriptions in maximum 7 days. Perhaps I will never have a face-to-face pharmacist to customer relationship but I consider Medisave a great way to save some of my hard earned cash. I'm not sure if there's a cross-continental tax involved. Keep in mind, Medisave works for me because it is convenient, customer service is simple and my prescription is straight forward. Ultimately, my decision was made to favor Medisave because my insurance wouldn't cover the brand name drugs I knew I needed. In my ~4 years with Medisave, I've never had a negative issue. I've moved and they were happy to send a C/O package and make changes to my billing addresses and etc. disclaimer: not sure how insurance coverage/flexible spending accounts works for Medisave. Ask.

‍ People Power…read more Visiting any pharmacy is usually a dull and mundane affair, but NOT THIS pharmacy! The hardworking, friendly, knowledgeable, cheerful and patient duo of Amy and Gabbie at Pinetree Pharmacy always bring their A-game to work, and it's such a pleasure to interact with them whenever I need to pick up medicinies. Services & Significance From giving courtesy calls to their patrons regarding prescription pickup and updates about any delays, to ensuring that they are well-informed about their needs during the speedy checkout, the staff here leave no stone unturned when it comes to ensuring customer delight (in a business where the bare minimum customer service is the standard, let alone satisfaction and beyond!). So, while major pharmacy chains might be more convenient in terms of location and timing, not to mention be stocked up on anything and everything that you may or may not need in addition to your medicines, I find a bit of inconvenience to be a small tradeoff for taking my business here and letting these ladies do their magic. Clean Scene This hole-in-the-wall place is sparkling clean, well-organized with optimal usage of the available space, and tranquil (despite it being right next to a very busy road), so much so that the absence of chaos here is palpable! The shared reception area with adjoining Pinetree Medical Clinic has ample seating for folks awaiting their turn. Bang for Your Buck Thanks to MSP and the direct billing to insurance, medications have never felt this wallet-friendly. They don't have extensive stocks of items, medicines and otherwise. So, it's always better to call and confirm before heading here if they have what you are looking for. Ease Peasy The place is central, just a block away from two main Skytrain Stations along the Millennium Line, and mere steps away from several bus stops. There is paid street parking upfront and along Glen Dr, but it can be challenging to find a spot during business hours. Final Verdict If health is wealth, then Amy and Gabbie at Pinetree Pharmacy are two of the most trusted bankers in the business. Hope they keep up the awesome work!
