But the real highlight here is the staff. Pinder, Karla, Lisa, and everyone are absolutely fantastic. I can't count how many times they've gone out of their way to help their patients. As discussed: Fosfomycin - This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. Fosfomycin should not be used to treat infections outside the bladder (such as kidney infections). So when I told you I had a Kidney infection and you conversed with the doctor and gave this to me anyway YOU PUT MY HEALTH AT RISK REQUIRING HOSPITALIZATION! YOU SHOULD BE BANNED FROM PRESCRIBING AND FILLING MEDICATION!!!

That was a bit alarming at first but my husband's pain was controlled well at that point and the wait was definitely on the shorter side of the range I was given. The staff sent me a text message when the prescription was ready. While I waited, I found several other items that my husband had requested. Those areas of the store were nicely stocked (no empty shelves here!) I had a $10 off coupon which I used (with purchase of $40 or more) very nice!

I expect at least basic product knowledge! I'd called another medical supply store in the area (forgot the name) where they instated they could only help me if I had a product number. Think like a customer, not a business please! Then, I tried Valley Evergreen Pharmacy. What a breath of fresh air! The lady who assisted me admitted she was new to the product I was looking for, but she took time to find what I needed and educate herself in the process. Her Manager was nearby and was knowledgable enough to help her through it. In the end I found what I needed, at a far more reasonable cost and with a pleasant experience. I had had the script filled there last time so I used their App - it took 1 minute to send a refill request, so easy! Then 10 minutes later my phone rang and it was Shrief Helmy or Ahmed Zaiton from the pharmacy (sorry guys I don't know you well enough yet!) letting me know that I did not have a refill on my prescription. I said "ok, I will go in and see my doctor". He said "no, wait, I can send in a refill request for you, they may fill it that way saving you the trip". Considering my doctor is in Coquitlam and we live in Langley - this was huge. Sure enough my doctor approved the refill and I got my prescription! I am so appreciative that this local company will go the extra mile, think outside the box and work for me. They have my all prescriptions from now on unless they leave town or I'm out of town :) Thank you Shrief and Ahmed, I appreciate you! Edited to add: This won't always work, it's a prescription I've had for years and I have a very close relationship with my doctor (32 years) so that's why it did work.
