But the most important thing of all is how approachable they are. When they talk with you, they really do care on how you're doing, and they do they best to make sure you're getting the best care they can provide. Among all the pharmacies I've been to, this one still ranks at the top, time and time again. If you live in Langley, do yourself a favor and transfer all your prescriptions over here. When I walked in, there were few customers at the counter and they're all speaking Mandarin loudly. I could hear what they said and I found it's lack of privacy!! Unfortunately, I couldn't speak fluent mandarin and have to speak in English. The lady didn't ask me to wait and get somebody to help me, she just turned around to ask the other staff can you talk to her!! Such service and lack of privacy pharmacy! No comment! If you don't think this is an issue, pls feel free to go there coz they offer coupon (8-10% off) when you purchase prescription. All of them paled when compare to the service rendered by Ackroyd Pharmacy. Ackroyd simply is the best of them all. They take time to explain the dosage and possible side effects of the prescription and is extremely patient in listening to your questions and give you the answer that you are looking for. They are very professional and will go out of the way to solve your problems and concerns. One time, I was going out of town and ran out on my regular prescription. I was in a bind as I could not find the time to visit my GP. They took the initiative to contact the doctor and had my prescription filled in time before my trip. All it take was one phone call for me to the pharmacy. In a word, they are just very helpful. Jessica is the pharmacist that helps me most of the time. Her attitude and professionalism is the best I've ever come across, bar none. Having said that , there are times that I had been served by others and I must say they are just as courteous and helpful. Finally, I should mention that the prescription fee that they charge are no more than that of Costco's and you get a free daily newspaper. I have not visited Longevity for myself, so this review is from the perspective of a pet owner - I hope that's helpful to some like me that may be dealing with a sick or older pet. I was recommended to Longevity by my vet because I was looking for a very hard to find antibiotic. I had called 4 other pharmacies with no luck, apart from Safeway who told me they *might* be able to find the powder for compounding in 7-10 days. I called Longevity and they were able to get the medication within a day. When that medication didn't go over very well with my dog (super hard on her system), they were able to quickly compound a new prescription of a liquid antibiotic for me, and even offered to make it chicken or beef flavoured. We went with beef and my dog actually really seems to like it, which was a pleasant surprise. They also managed to get this compounded very quickly as I only had my lunch break to pick up the prescription and medication and was anxious to start my dog on it ASAP, which I really appreciated. Pharmacist-wise, I've only really interacted with Aman, but he is kind, patient, a great communicator, and has what my mom would call the E-gene (empathy). They always seem to be a bit busy, but he never makes you feel like he doesn't have time to answer questions, and has gone out of his way to make me feel as comfortable as possible with both the medications themselves, and the prices I'd be paying for them - always checking in to let me know if they'd be fairly expensive, as I don't have pet insurance and pay out of pocket. This has been a really difficult time, and the pharmacy was not a place I expected to find this level of kindness. I am just really appreciative of the patience and effort shown, and feel like my dog has been treated with the same sense of urgency and care a human would receive. I know my vet already recommends everyone here, but if you're a pet owner, definitely keep this place in mind next time you need medication.

There are a few reasons I give this pharmacy 5 stars, first it is very fast. On my first visit I had my prescription within 10 minutes and the store was very busy. The number of staff is quite high so the service is very fast. Second, when they did not have the quantity on hand that I needed, they gave me what they had and then delivered the rest to my house a day later for free. This was outstanding. 3 months later when I needed a refill I called the automated service and picked it up after work. I was amazed when I walked in and the man I had dealt with once 3 months ago remembered me. Great fast service, friendly staff and free home delivery. You can't beat this place.

All is good as long as yup can get in first thing in the morning, they are late opening on occasion which is not helpful when you're trying to get a quick pick up before work.

Newly opened to the public today, I had the chance to go in there for a quick stroll…read more There is a kitchen area that serves hot foods, salads, sandwiches, soups, sushi etc. and a nice sitting area to eat your meal after purchase. This is a great addition to the nearby lunch scene for staff and employees in the Coast Capitol building across the way. The aisles are a little narrow, but everything was clean and well-stocked. The bakery had a huge selection of cakes and pastries. The meat section had a better selection than the save on I have near home. The aisles were easy to navigate and things were easy to find. Hopefully, it all stays the same as time progresses. There is a pharmacy section to the left of the entrance, it is spacious and had most things that you'll need for day to day. The previous location on King Geroge was a little dingey and in need of an upgrade. This location is definitely a huge step above.
