Catherine heard our main concerns and our desire for how we wanted to use our space, and transformed that into an amazing design. We recently used Wild Heritage Gardens to replace our grass-and-shrub front yard with…read morelow-maintenance pollinator-friendly plants and a patio that doubles as a firebreak (something that's been top of mind since the Marshall fire). From start to finish Jody and her team were wonderful to work with--they were highly knowledgeable, professional, communicative, and responsive, and took the time to make sure everything was designed and completed to a high standard. This project is something we'd been wanting to do for years, and it came out better than we could have imagined! We had a lot of different goals for what's a fairly small front yard with quite a bit of shade: we wanted an attractive design that would reduce water use and maintenance needs, support pollinators throughout the full growing season, create a firebreak near the house, have a nice space for our kids to enjoy, and add some edible plants/berries/herbs if possible. Wild Heritage went above and beyond in delivering on all of these criteria, and it's a strong testament to their experience, passion, and deep knowledge of landscape design, sustainable planting, water management, and construction. Our new front yard has quickly become a favorite place for our whole family to spend time, and our kids love running around the path, sitting on the rocks, watching bumblebees and ladybugs, and admiring each new flower that blooms. Our 6-year-old son now asks to go outside with us every night to read on the patio and is beyond excited to pick strawberries, gooseberries, honeyberries, and cherries as the plants grow and mature. And thanks to the high-quality soil, customized drip irrigation system, and detailed instructions Wild Heritage provided, the plants are already growing like crazy just a few short weeks after being planted. We've already gotten tons of compliments from our neighbors (both on our street and some that have been driving by), and we can't wait to see how our garden grows and changes over the coming years. We would highly recommend Wild Heritage Gardens to anyone considering this (or any) kind of landscaping project!

We found J&P on Yelp, and they were able to start w/in a fairly quick time frame. The crew was on time, every time. We didn't have the funds to nail down our whole project in one season, but put a good dent into the final project this year. These guys laid pavers for a pretty good sized patio for us, and we've gotten numerous compliments on how great it looks. They spent a tremendous amount of time measuring, leveling & cutting all the pavers to get them perfectly in place. The project took longer than I anticipated - but only because they spent so much time working on getting everything laid out and level. Our final project calls for a pretty good sized outdoor fireplace. In addition to the pavers, they planted some trees and threw in a couple trees for us, and they did the rough ins for the gas line once we actually get to the fireplace. We are quite pleased with our choice of landscapers and can't wait to get everything finished up.

The sod that A Boulder Gardener had so perfectly installed a couple of years before was completely destroyed, the front yard had weeds taller than me in it, and the back yard had knee-deep weeds and the rest was dirt. I called A Boulder Gardener and they came to the rescue. Their employees descended on my house and weeded and cleared the entire property in a half day--something it would have taken me weeks to do. They are seriously machines. You won't see anybody leaning on a shovel--they work hard and transform your landscape in short order. After the cleanup they came back and installed artificial turf in my backyard, which is now a Mecca, and planted trees, plants, shrubs and bulbs all over my property. Now it's spring and I have beautiful flowers coming up all over. I'm excited to enjoy all the hard work they put in this season and for years to come.
