When he fertilized my lawn, instead of applying fertilizer only to the grass, he drove the fertilizer spreader all over my new concrete walkways, leaving dozens of ugly rust stains everywhere. I have spent hundreds of dollars on power washing and other attempts to resolve it and such attempts have made the problem worse, so I now have rust + discoloration all over my walkways, which is a major eyesore. It will cost me many thousands of dollars to fix this problem that Dan caused, since I will need to rip out and reinstall 3 new concrete pathways and a giant patio. Dan's response was extremely disappointing, he did not take responsibility and there was 0 concern or effort to fix the problem. I would caution against using Dan if you want someone who is thoughtful and careful on your property. I hope this review will ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! I put on my shoes headed outside and the poo was stuck to the ice, I had a great idea to spray it with water, that was dumb before I new it it was a pond of crap water with frozen crap still stuck, i happened to be wearing my cons and boy was it slick. You guessed it I landed flat on my back in the crap water. I couldn't stand up cause it was a sheet of ice. So I laid on my belly and waded through the crap water, forget this I got on my phone and found Tony's landscaping, he actually anwered his phone, I told him my problem and he was at my house the next day on time. I called several landscape companies, but they either didn't return my call, didn't show up, or were downright sketchy. Janice went to CSU and studied landscape design - and you can tell. Her design was spot-on and she took everything into consideration. She had great questions and reassured me that my 10,000sf lot had a lot of potential. They literally transformed my outdoor space into the best house in the neighborhood! I have a gorgeous, natural, mountain look with siloam steps and paths. They planted beautiful privacy trees, perennials for pollinators, and everything on my plant "wish list." My water feature and endless stream adds a serene, mountain calm to the heart of Arvada. I'm getting on her list for next year to add an outdoor kitchen and pergola. Colorado Native Landscapes and Design ROCKS!!! I know they get slammed in the busy season, but they are sooooo worth the wait.

Unprofessional work, safety hazards, and refused to fix mistakes and stand behind their work--do…read morenot recommend. ​I hired Colorado Native Landscapes last year to reduce weeds in my backyard and reset a rock wall and 'refresh' the area. Unfortunately, the project with the owner,Janice Vogt, was plagued by poor practices and unfulfilled promises. ​They removed some established plants without permission and never replaced them. Worse, when they took up my existing flagstone--which had been perfectly stable and safe to walk on for 14 years- to lay a new layer of mulch they proceeded to re lay it directly on top of that loose mulch. When I pointed out how unstable this was, she charged me an extra $2,300 to take it all back up again and pack that mulch properly and put a layer of rock for the flagstone to lay upon. This should have been figured into the original bid. ​Despite the extra fee, the work did not hold up. Now, just less than a year later the stones are shifting, wobbly, and creating severe tripping hazards. As an older homeowner, this is a major safety concern. When I called Janice to come and look at the situation this past month, she did finally agree to come out but then refused to fix it. In the end she used the excuse that she "doesn't normally use the clients material" (something that she'd NEVER mentioned before) and that my flagstone wasn't good. (In the contract itself it says "Colorado Native Landscaping warranties all hardscape materials and 'workmanship' for a period of two (2) years. They cut corners, didn't solve my weed issue, and left me with a hazardous situation in my back yard, which I will have to pay someone else to remedy. Disgusted. Avoid this company. I have a dated and signed contract with this company. Carole B
