I didn't feel what so ever at anytime she was rushing the whole time. Karen was/is very professional. The office was very cleaned. I'm very happy with the results. Yes, my eyes still hurts but putting ice pack on both eyes help. I was given a small pouch with cream, Q-tips, and a small empty container. I was given a simple instructions on taking care of my eyes while healing. ******** is my stars.

This is the first time ever I am writing a review but I think it is worth to warn others…read more The first time that I called to make an appointment I made it clear that I was going to get married in 4 months. I sent pictures of my eyebrows and asked her to keep the shape of my eyebrows the same, but just to darken them. Then, I went in for my appointment and Karen mentioned that I had too much space between my eyebrows. I insisted that I didn't care because I like the shape of my eyebrows. She recommended that she use a different technique that didn't allow her to map out the shape before starting. Again, I indicated that I didn't want her to change the shape of my eyebrows or extend them. However, that was completely disregarded. As she started to fill in my brows, I felt that she was filling in further than my natural brow and I immediately asked her to stop. She said that she would go back and clean it up with saline later but she wanted me to see how it looked ( keep in mind that this is a tattoo!). Even though I was shocked by my shocking results (see pictures below--I included a "before" picture for context) I was told not to worry about it because the day after the redness would heal and it would look more like my natural brow. They did not heal. I lost 3 days of work because of this. I went in to speak with Karen about my results and it was clear that she was not willing to take responsibility. She continues to state that this was my fault. She recommended that I clean the brows with detergent (please don't ever do this--that is NOT safe!) Initially, she refused to even refund my service. She doesn't have liability insurance which is a red flag for someone who does tattoos. I'm a month out from my wedding and my eyebrows still have not fully healed (pictures below). I followed up with 2 doctors and they could not believe what Karen has done to my eye brows. The mental stress that I have experienced for the last months, added to the physical PERMANENT DAMAGE on my face, unsafe recommendations, disrespectful and blaming communication has been traumatizing. I hope that my review can help others to avoid this awful experience I had.

The hairdressers really good. The biggest problem are the sinks…read more A lady had a stroke because of how her head was tilted in the sink. It was on Action News Jax. The condition is called V.A.D. or beauty parlor syndrome. The owner is the one who is responsible for furnishings. Those sinks are antiquated. If you do go there, INSIST you have multiple towels put under your head before you lean back into the sink.

As requested we arrived early, upon getting there while getting out of car we receive a call from the salon they are about 30-45 min late. It's now 20 min we are waiting and are told it's going to be another hour to one n half hours more. (Strike one) This is not acceptable. We spoke to a woman there and said sue previous client hair didn't turn out right and needs to redo it. That should have been our red flag to leave. (Strike two) Giving them the benefit of the doubt we waited. The appointment was for a full spiral perm with volume. 5 HOURS later the hair if finished? The hair is a regular perm and flat like a pancake. No volume no spiral curled just waves. Called to speak to the manager. No manager available. Asked for the owner, on vacation. Called a few days later said to come in s her best stylist Kathleen will fix.? Really ? Hair still looks flat, perm was not redone and still not happy at all. They charged 125.00 for what Then give you hair care products. I would most definitely NOT recommend this salon.

Even said I just want a discount. Its seriously devastating and it will take months to correct

She was very patient and explained to me the process from start to finish. I found her to be knowledgeable and personable. Her office was very clean and she used the appropriate aseptic technique for the procedure. I am more than pleased with my initial results and I'm looking forward to the end result.

I have called her literally at for a 7am appointment to 9pm appointments, she is that accommodating. I love her work- I've gotten individual eyelash extensions from sudie's brows as well as krupals brows(they're the cheaper kind, the type you buy at the drugstore and use semi permanent glue) and they don't look as nice nor last as long.

I had a big white spot on my lip liner and a very faded spot on one of my lower lids. I ended up contacting another artist who educated me about colors for my type of skin and why I would have to have my whole lips done now and eyeliner done over. I wish I had found this other person FIRST, before I went back to Ilmira. It will cost me, but I'm sure it will be worth every penny to have it done right. When I had my do-over eyeliner done, the technition discovered that there was alot of camouflage used to cover up Ilmira's mistakes on one eyelid. DO NOT go to this woman. Investigate others.
