Most of the time phenomenal! Sometimes just a miscue on the sauce and it doesn't hit as well.

The best Chinese food in the southtowns by far! We moved to orchard park and still travel to Hamburg for this Chinese food!

The shrimp Lo-mein was very tasty and the shrimp was was not overcooked and rubbery like other places I patronized. I have ordered food 3 times in the last week because it was so good. I'm not sure how long it's been around since I couldn't find it on Yelp and had to create the listing. I came across it last year during Covid when I went to the UPS store which is 2 doors down from it. For the last 4 years that we have lived in Hamburg, I've been dying to find a decent Chinese takeout joint in the area. We were happy when we found Ginger and Garlic, but I'm glad we now have a second option that's even closer, especially on Monday nights when Ginger and Garlic is closed! The fried dumplings are always good, though I do wish they're just a little crispier. But we still love them and always order 2 so that we each get our own. My husband really likes their pork lo mein - it usually comes with carrots and Napa cabbage (the restaurant calls it bok choy but that's because it's literally called bok choy in Chinese). Hubby despises carrots and even though he likes Napa cabbage, he orders it without it because he usually eats it over the course of 2-3 days, and he says that the cabbage gets too soggy after the first day. He usually gets the sesame chicken to go with his lo mein and enjoys the combination immensely. I usually get the pork fried rice without peas and carrots. It seems to be a popular thing around the Southtowns Chinese restaurants, but I really don't like them in my fried rice so I get mine without them. I usually get some kind of chicken dish (chicken with broccoli, chicken with mushrooms, etc.) but this time I decided to explore the menu a little and ordered the pork chop suey and the pork egg foo young. I've never had chop suey before and while I enjoyed it, I didn't love it and wouldn't order again. It was way too saucy for me and I'm weird about that - I prefer my food on the drier side, unless it's soup, of course. The egg foo young was basically a Chinese omelette and came with a delicious gravy. I really liked it and would consider ordering again. Other items we've tried that we also liked include Singapore mei fun, general tso's chicken, and some beef entrees. My husband always gets the Chinese donuts too (basically just fried dough covered in sugar) which is always delicious. I think next time I'm going to try a chow mein!

This is a small Restaurant, very clean and organized. The staff didn't understand English very well when I was just checking that they accepted my credit card. But ordering was very easy (typical circling things on the menu and just confirming as they point it out). The lunch prices are phenomenal especially for the amount we got. And the timing? The cashier said 15 minutes but was out in 10! We got Crab Rangoon, Boneless Spare Rib lunch, and a Schezuan Beef. Crab Rangoon was perfect, dippi g sauce tasted a bit watered down. But it wasn't that bad. Not complain worthy. Boneless spare rib lunch was perfect, but, we found a hair in ours... but the food was so good we just kinda removed it and ate around that area. The food was SO GOOD we ate around a hair. We didn't have time to try to complain and wait for another dish. The Schezuan Beef was also amazing... However it only came with 5 beef pieces for some reason... and did you guess it? Another hair.... The food was SO GOOD we just ate around that area of rice. 4 stars because of the hair in the food. I didn't give them immediate feedback so I didn't give them the opportunity to fix the situation. That's why I didn't go lower, because it's our fault too. I would hope they will utilize hairnets more? Or something? I will try to eat here again in the future. Last time I had food here was like, 8 years ago and I remember the food being just as good (and even hairless!). So I think we just had bad luck on a badly scheduled day (my schedule that is) Apparently I didn't manage to get a pic of the Schezuan Beef hair. Or the crab Rangoon (but the Crab Rangoon we ate first and was too good to take a pic of, because we ate them so fast lol.)

I ordered chicken Lo Mein and added won ton soup for an exta 1.55. What i got when I got home was shrimp Lo Mein and I did get the won ton soup. I wasn't going back and I liked shrimp so I just ate it! I usually don't put soy sauce on my Chinese but had little taste so I added the soy! Same with the flavor of the won ton little dull.1st time i had almost tasteless Chinese food. Glad I had leftover noodles from another place i got soup for the soup you probably have to pay extra now i know.they had steady customers coming in nice enough workers I just wanted to like this places food. I might try again but next time someplace different right now I'm still disappointed

But after trying a takeout order for the 3rd time, I cannot recommend doing take away from here. SERVERS: The service is swift, it's happy, very friendly actually for typical brisk Asian style service. They handle the buffet efficiently and are always asking if you're doing well. The lady who took my to-go order over the phone was kind, she even called me back to say they were out of something I ordered and offered a substitute. TO-GO ORDER: This is where it all went downhill. I know sometimes if you make to-go orders, they pull stuff directly off the buffet instead of making something new. Which is whatever, honestly, I'd have preferred what was on the line to what I received. a) Black Pepper Chicken: On the line it's crunchy, crispy and caramelized chicken and onions with a hint of black pepper. What I got in my container was bits of soggy chicken literally floating in non-thickened sweet sauce. So much in fact that it leaked out of the containers edges all over the bottom of the bag. Luckily it was double bagged so it didn't get on my seats. b) Buttered Sea Food: On the line it's fake crab and baby shrimp sautéed with garlic, butter and parsley and a little something extra (I think sesame oil myself) and it's awesome over rice. I ordered a small container of this without the shrimp, because sometimes the shrimp aren't clean and I prefer to skip that. It was okay but there wasn't a lot of the butter sauce, so everything on top was very dried out. I only live 10 minutes away, so it shouldn't be like that after such a short time. c) They were out of the smoky, garlicky green beans and offered to sauté some broccoli in the same style. This also came floating in pool of slightly seasoned water. Like it was blanched and tossed in the container without draining before they dumped sauce on, instead of actually sautéing it. I'd have just rather passed on it. d) The egg drop soup came off the buffet line, so it was fine. It's not the best I've had but it's not the worst either. I'd call it passable and it was the most edible thing from the order, after I added some garlic chili paste. Now this is the only the latest to-go order mistakes. The first two times saw issues as well, like missing food, incorrectly made food and food that is usually dryer instead begging for a lifeline from an ocean of sauce. Honestly, for $30 for takeout, I expect better quality and consistency. If you can make it nice and tasty for the buffet line, you should be able to do the same for the take-out option. It's going to be a while before I add this place back into my rotation.

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.
