My father spent about a month here and we have mixed feelings about the facility…read more Pro: very single one of the floor staff was wonderful. They were attentive, polite, friendly, professional, helpful, and there were plenty of folks working on the floor. I never felt like I couldn't find someone to help. PT and OT came and worked with my dad every day. Staff brought his meals timely every day. CNA's did their best to help him dress, bathe, etc and were helpful and responsive to family members. We never felt like attention to the patient was lacking. Con: the office staff is not responsive at all. I left messages for case manager and billing dept. throughout my dad's stay, and none of them ever called me back ever. Only one time did anyone (social services director) ever return my call. The patient room space really sucks. Most available rooms have four people jammed in to rooms that look like they were designed for two people. I never knew a quad room even existed until my dad was sent here. When I asked for him to be moved to a two person room, none were available. I was told those were rarely available. My dad's curtained off space felt like about 10 x 12. No privacy and no room for visitors. Imagine four men in a room while one is on the phone, one has visitors, one is watching tv, and one has loud music on. All in the same room. Had to constantly reposition things in my dad's space (tv, wheel chair, bedside table, oxygen machine, chair for a visitor) depending on what you wanted access to at any given time. Could not open his closet without moving furnishings out of the way. Anyway it's acceptable for the nice floor staff, but I wished my dad was elsewhere because of all the other reasons.

Dear St. Elizabeth Skilled Nursing Facility Team,…read more Having a staff that provides constant attention and genuine care is of the utmost importance to our family, especially given the challenges of rehabilitation for our 94-year-old mother, Aida. We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for the exceptional care she received at your facility in Fullerton. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Jay in Physical Therapy for his excellent attention to detail. His diligent tracking of the additional days required for her stay ensured she could safely transfer from her bed to a wheelchair with the assistance of only one CNA. When our mother arrived a month ago, she was unable to stand or walk, and her progress has been remarkable. We were also very impressed by the medical care meeting provided for our family. It was well-organized, with up-to-date lab work and clear documentation that allowed us to easily understand her medical progress. Additionally, social workers Elvie and Ana, along with Bianca, Alejandra, and Renee from administration, were outstanding resources. They kept our family consistently informed and made the discharge process seamless. Our special gratitude goes to the housekeeping team (Gloria and Julio), the CNAs (Mayra and Alma), and the nursing staff. They kept the facility immaculately clean and welcoming, while ensuring our mother was comfortable, cared for, and able to participate in daily activities. Finally, we want to thank the dining staff for providing nutritious, high-quality meals and for being so accommodating to her dietary preferences. St. Elizabeth felt like a safe, comfortable home away from home thanks to your friendly personnel.

They are attentive concerned about the residence safety and well-being. J the director of physical therapy runs a tight ship. They have students training as well, so they have lots of extra staff. Elvie the case manager is professional and very communicative. Returning your calls immediately. She's very up-to-date on the patient's situation at all times. Being my first time in treatment, I didn't know what to expect or what I had committed myself to but, Lighthouse was there for me every step of the way. From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. They treated me with compassion, understanding and operated within God's grace while taking care of me every step of the way. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Thank you so much for church, gym, yoga, offsite meetings and all the extras like game night and movie night. It was the first time I had done (or was able to do) any of those things sober in YEARS. Thank you so much for the clinical groups, motivational speakers and panels. It opened my eyes to a difference in perspective and understanding when it came to addiction and how much people need to be loved. Truly humbling. A special thank you to Tyler and Teresa for doing such a great job at the facility. Between staff and taking a look around, it really does show how much they care about what they do. Thank you to everyone at intake, the front office and administration. With all your patience and calm demeanors, you make it look easy. Shout out to kitchen staff for all their hard work and making sure everyone there was always well fed (miss the food for sure). Taco Tuesdays were the best! Thank you to the nurses and doctors. You always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. When it comes to staff, it's extremely difficult for me to pick favorites. They are ALL great. It's apparent that going above and beyond is their standard mode of operation. With that being said... Special thanks to: *Candice. The most bad a$$, straight forward, sweetest person I've ever met. Thank you for your honesty, positivity, caring and being straightforward about everything. *Edmund. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and wisdom when it came to the reality of dealing with real life circumstances. *Mike! FAFO, don't be late! Thank you for the discipline you incorporated into the program and showing how much you cared that we all succeeded. *Austin. Thank you for being so down to earth and taking the awkwardness out of being honest about addiction. I'll never forget the game "In My Addiction." It shined new light on how I wasn't alone in the struggle and helped me to be more open about myself. *Alfonso. Thank you so much for having those real, heart to heart conversations with myself and the group, sharing how the dynamics of our behavior shapes our habits which influences our lives (no loitering!). *Joey. Thank you for all your encouraging, compassionate declamations amongst the groups showing kindness is alive and well. *Rob. Thank you for your constant, positively radiant attitude and the diligence you incorporate into all you do. *Kaylee. Honestly, thanks for being awesome with everything and everyone. *Liz. Sooooo good. Thank you for educating me on my blood pressure and the importance of the numbers and what they signify. Your energy was always fun to be around. *Ronnie. Thank you for always trying to help a brotha' out. *Timmy. Thank you for your patience with me while making sure I was taken care of in detox. *Paddy. Thank you so much for your sweet, caring demeanor and the encouragement you gave me in detox. Lighthouse was truly my home away from home. Their hearts are in everything they do. Thank you tremendously for everything. Keep up the great the work and God bless you. -Samuel Sa

Over the past 15 years I've had the privilege of working closely with their team and witnessing the high standard of care they provide to their residents. What impresses me most is their consistent professionalism and attention to detail. The staff is always responsive, organized, and proactive when it comes to handling insurance-related matters--making the process smooth not just for vendors like myself, but most importantly, for the residents and their families. Beyond the administrative side, it's clear that the environment at Park Regency retirement, is one built on compassion and respect. Every time I'm on-site, I see smiling faces, meaningful interactions, and a real sense of community. It's obvious that the residents are well cared for--not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well. They're a fantastic partner and an even better resource for families seeking quality assisted-living options.

A big part of it was the marketer who was not only helpful and communicative, but also enthusiastic about the building and the care staff. She helped them navigate various aspects of relocating our loved one, the pros and cons of different senior living communities and really highlighted the quality care provided by her staff. What ultimately sold us on this community was the memory care. We decided that it would be best to choose a community that had assisted living and memory care in one building so, if the time ever came, it would be a smoother transition should that level of care be needed. Although the building is a bit older, it is well taken care of and has a beautiful courtyard for residents and families to enjoy. I highly recommend taking a tour if you're considering assisted living homes for your loved one!
