My case manager was incredibly thorough, intelligent, and helpful. While everyone will have different facilitation/facilitator preferences, there are a lot of wonderful and compassionate people working here. Everyone I worked with did nothing but offer support, acceptance, and kindness to the group. I learned so much through this program and it really gave me the tools I needed to uncover hidden and deep rooted trauma, address it, and begin to move on, as well as tools to practice self care and efforts towards continuous recovery in my daily life. One thing I love about AO is it offers you a care team that is in communication with one another about your wellbeing and are making sure you are getting the appropriate level of care based on your needs. My psychiatrist, therapist, and case manager were all in contact about what was going on in my treatment and in my life. It was during this time I was able to really focus on medication management and find something that worked for me. Finding the right medication is a difficult and can be a tumultuous process, but having the support of all the staff at AO really made a difference. I felt seen, understood, and respected by everyone. The groups have a wide variety of topics and while there were few activities or facilitators I didn't love, I felt like I always walked away learning something new with a new tool for my tool kit. On the whole, the people I've met through this group tend to be warm and welcoming; it was nice to connect with people who related to your struggles. AO evens offers aftercare; for up until a year after your time in treatment, you can attend one group a week. This has been crucial for me in my ongoing recovery and has allowed me to actively make time for self care beyond program and not defer back to old habits. Since my time at AO I feel as if I'm on a path of continuous growth; that's not something AO can give to you directly, but AO gave me the tools to make this life a reality. I don't think this review can do my experience justice. Taking time for treatment was an extremely hard decision for me, but it didn't just change my life, it saved my life. It's a hard leap, but I cannot recommend this facility enough. It was by no means easy, but it was most definitely worth it.

During our sessions, I feel that she carries herself in a very welcoming and chill positive vibe, which I love about her. Ariel has always been so accommodating and flexible when scheduling an appointment to meet with her. I am also appreciative when she gives me a confirmation text before we meet the next day even though I have it in my calendar already. It's definitely those little things that matters! Honestly, it was really hard for me to understand and tell myself that I needed a little help, mentally. I was terrified in reaching out to any therapist, but I'm so glad I reached out to Ariel! I love how I can freely have a conversation with her without any judgement, move from topic to topic, and know that she can keep up with my thoughts and emotions plus help me sort it all out. I have shared some heart felt, deep and meaningful conversations with Ariel that I'm so relieved to be able to get it off my chest. I definitely feel that since our first session in June, Ariel has been by my side to help me open up, grow, heal, and learn to love and accept myself. She literally my cheerleader supporter but more chill vibes than perky haha. It really means a lot and I'm so proud of the progress we have made so far. I hope for others that are reading this as well, they will have the courage to reach out to Ariel and get the help they need. It's okay to ask for help. I'm so happy I did and reached out to Ariel. Healing is such a beautiful thing. (:

I'd seen two therapists before Patrick: one thought it was OK to answer her phone throughout our…read moresession and the other although she did listen to me, I just didn't connect with her and I left feeling the same as when I went in. I was initially apprehensive about seeing a male therapist as I worried that I'd be embarrassed to open up to him or that he wouldn't understand me. I was wrong. From the first meeting he just told me to say what was on my mind, I did and it was great and I left feeling like I'd actually done something that was helping me move in the right direction. He's friendly, kind, welcoming, a great listener, I don't know how he does it but he remembers pretty much everything, he's funny and you feel like he genuinely cares about what you have to say while helping you realize the reasons why you feel and act the way you do. Along with other important changes I've made in my life, he has truly been a great help in guiding me to be more assertive and quiet my own inner critic enough to find peace of mind. There is still work to be done and I know that Patrick will be able to continue to help me. It goes without saying that I strongly recommend Patrick.

Due to Covid we have been meeting via Zoom. I was sure if I would like it, but it's working out great. I am so grateful. I have been meeting with her weekly. She is AWESOME!! She is very calming and centered. I like that she approaches things in a psychological and spiritual way. I would highly recommend her. I was also very fortunate that Daybreaks counseling center excepted my insurance too.
