I've been seeing Ariel since June and I'm so happy and thankful to have met her! Ariel is genuine, firm, and easy to talk to. During our sessions, I feel that she carries herself in a very welcoming and chill positive vibe, which I love about her. Ariel has always been so accommodating and flexible when scheduling an appointment to meet with her. I am also appreciative when she gives me a confirmation text before we meet the next day even though I have it in my calendar already. It's definitely those little things that matters! Honestly, it was really hard for me to understand and tell myself that I needed a little help, mentally. I was terrified in reaching out to any therapist, but I'm so glad I reached out to Ariel! I love how I can freely have a conversation with her without any judgement, move from topic to topic, and know that she can keep up with my thoughts and emotions plus help me sort it all out. As someone who had been seeking therapy for well over a year I was very happy to find Ariel. She was and is very responsive. She doesn't leave her clients wondering when she will reply, and that was one of the things that drew me in very quickly. She was also very willing to work with me as I have a psychological background as well. Like many other reviews have said she is 100% non-judgmental and that I what helps when opening up. If you are thinking about therapy and are looking to try it with anyone it will be Ariel. As someone who has been to multiple therapist through her life, Ariel is one of the few who you definitely feel a bond with and someone who you want to go back to. I feel my mental health has improved so much even in the few months I have been having sessions with her. Ariel is such a great therapist. Definitely a great mix of professional and friend. This review is long overdue. First, I want to say, if you're thinking about going to therapy, definitely go. You may or may not find the right therapist for you the first time around, but keep trying until you do because it is worth every penny. I've been seeing Ariel for over half a year, and mentally I'm in a much better place than I was a year ago. I actually had been seeing another therapist prior, but I didn't feel like I was progressing. I'm so fortunate to have found Ariel. She's nonjudgemental and doesn't tell you what you should and shouldn't do. Therapy has started me on a journey to being my best self, and Ariel has walked side by side with me this whole time. An unexpected benefit of therapy with Ariel is that my relationships with those close to me are improving. She practices psychodynamic therapy, and honestly I didn't know if this style of therapy would work for me. Again, so glad I decided to give it a try because my mental health is much better for it. Since right now we're in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, I've been having my sessions with Ariel through FaceTime. Ariel has truly been the best therapist I've ever had. I used to be a person who was against therapy because I'd had bad experiences, but Ariel has always been warm, inviting, and encouraging of my personal growth and healing. I've been seeing Ariel for the last six months and what a cathartic ride it has been. I have struggled with social anxiety for the last few years. Ariel has been one of the biggest blessing in my life. Before her I was in the deepest whole, I was struggling with a lot of depression , trust issues probably one of the worst times of my life! What is there not to say? Ariel is probably one of the most empathetic, relatable therapists that I have ever seen. Not only does she remain professional, but she is really there to be the buffer from your reality and consciousness. She has helped me immensely by, yes, literally just letting me rant about things that are truly bothering me to uplifting me by helping remain present and not go overboard into anxiety (the sole reason why I sought her out, but has helped with many other things). I started seeing Ariel when I lived in Long Beach back in 2016. I was introduced to her from a previous therapist. We immediately connected from our first session and I really enjoyed all of our sessions. I stopped seeing her because I moved to Culver City and lost touch with her. I initially did not want to go to Long Beach because it's a far drive especially in traffic and I wasn't quite sure if I would be able to fit that kind of commitment in schedule. But there was no one else better than Ariel! So I made the trek and committed to seeing her every week. It's literally the best decision I've made for myself. I love that she works side by side with me and really helps me on my time line and what I'm comfortable with working on. I have been working with Ariel for around 6 months now and I can confidently say she has helped me SO much. After seeing two other therapist in the past two years, the difference between a good one and bad one is obvious. Ariel is 100% a good one. She is compassionate, non judgmental, and truly makes you feel like you are being listened to and understood. With my previous therapist, I felt like I was speaking to a wall and getting minimal feedback but continued to go because it was helpful to be able to talk out my issues with someone. As someone who personally searched reviews trying to find the right therapist for myself I realize the importance of sharing my experience. The best advice I can give anyone seeking therapy is never let one bad experience with the wrong therapist discourage you from continuing your search for the right one. Right before seeing Ariel I saw a different therapist, it was my first time and I was incredibly nervous/scared, I ended up leaving that session feeling helpless, defeated and just all around worse, but I refused to give up! Continuing my search I found Ariel. Picking up the phone and calling Ariel after a bad session with the wrong therapist was the best thing I've ever done for myself. Right away I felt that my experience with Ariel would be completely opposite of my first experience with a therapist and I was right.
