I have used New Covenant plumbing since I bought my house and they have always done a good job. But this time- I called and scheduled for them to come out two weeks in advance to fix a stopped up drain. I told her I will be taking vacation that day. Day that was scheduled- I waited to be contacted and by noon had not heard from them so I called. Was told they would be here by 3pm. At 2:50 they drove up in my driveway looking like they were getting tools. 5 minutes later I see them driving off. No contact with them. I called the office and left message asking if the were coming. I never received a response. They never came back. Not only do I still have a stopped up drain, but wasted a day of vacation and will now have use up another vacation day to get it fixed. read more

Renovating a Queen Anne Victoria, and our contractor had New Covenant come work multiple bathroom supply runs. Even though they had a clear view of all existing lines (drywall cuts and open walls/floors), they failed to inspect existing lines before opening valves and main supply to create a destructive leak that came from the second floor through the ceiling of our entryway and destroyed 50 s/f of ceiling and soaked antique parquet flooring, insulation and attic space. How did they handle this? Shop vacs and fans to dry? No! They wandered through our house looking for towels and buckets to soak up the water, capped the damages line, and left us with a mess and additional unfinished work that they had agreed to complete. They are proud to proclaim "Jesus is Lord" on their trucks, but they obviously forget the "Do unto others" Golden Rule. read more

As always, they were super friendly over the phone, scheduled a fast appointment, kept us informed as to time they would be here, and went above and beyond what we expected to make sure the leak was fixed and to our expectations. Unprofessional. The Lead tech was rude and I say this with as much kindness as possible..he barreled in like he was putting out a fire. Obviously, intimidated by women. This one anyway. He would not answer any questions. I advised him I was a property manager and would like to know how he could thoroughly assess the AC when I called to tell them the AC was not cooling only. He did not look at filter inside just the outside. I'm not the Property owner. I still protect the asset. Long story short. He said dog hair blocked the outside unit. ??? What? I wash my coils for PM purposes. It was dirty as it's outside but no blanket of dirt and without using the tried and true method of flashlight to see through the dirt he called his boss and the owner and advised DEBRIS clogged up the unit and damaged the fan motor. We had window units as we have had to repair poorly installed duct work by same entity and thus 3 years and shifting it was obviously not installed with any give for shifting. Yes I was angry. Yes I asked for the owner to call me. I was told "WE WORK FOR THE OWNER". The owner paid for the repair 450.00. He already had said he was going to. They posted a rebuttal saying I represented myself as the property manager. No, I told your tech I was in property management and I am HVAC certified. I knew it was the fan motor and had already told the owner. *the fan should move freely when it's functional. It stopped 1/4 of a turn. Then he attacked my integrity in his post saying I was not wanting him to call the owner because THEY did not know I have dogs. What? They are animal lovers too. They love my dogs! Now, here's the last untruth.... The owner stated in rebuttal "The filter was clogged with dog hair and damaged the condenser and condenser had to be replaced". Sir, it was a faulty fan motor that was replaced. I'm sure they are good enough. Falsely accusing the people giving honest information of lying when it's very clear this was their lie. They have hidden behind their name COVENANT and our Lord on the vans. Maybe CONMEN* would be better suited. read more

Had an emergency situation happen late Friday and they came out on a Sat. Morning in January. Awesome, hardworking guy who was very courteous. Made sure all leaks were fixed before he left. Very reasonable charge, especially considering it was a Sat. and cold!, On a 3 day weekend. Will definitely recommend them and use them again! read more

Called them to unclog a drain. Paid $100 for initial visit(fair). A week later, drain was clogged again, I called them and requested a follow up visit because the problem wasn't solved. They came back and performed exactly the same service which took exactly the same amount of time. I expected pay nothing as it should have been resolved on the initial visit, but I could understand paying maybe half price. But they still didn't determine the underlying problem or resolve it. I was shocked when they billed me for $125. $25 more than the initial visit (especially when they performed the exact same procedure.) I called the office thinking it must have been a mistake. The owner attempted to defend the price. Told me that I must have damaged pipes( something that was never discussed prior). Then told a bold faced lie that he personally was at my house on the job. I Was with the. Plumbers the entire time he was not here. Bottom line, the owner is dos honest, apparently makes up prices on a whim, and doesn't stand behind their work. read more
