Solid consistent good food. I live in Red Bank and it's our go to. I am second generation , my parents went here in the 80's.

We ordered a a Chicken Caesar Salad and a pizza with onion, peppers, sausage and pepperoni. The salad and stale croutons and old, tasteless chicken with a packet of Ken's Caesar Dressing. Awful. The pizza was mediocre at best, with most of the topping clumped up in the center. With all of the pizza places in the area, cross this one off your list. read more

I stopped in on a whim for a slice and was impressed by how fresh and appetizing everything looked. I went with the sausage & peppers -- the crust had the perfect crisp bite without being greasy. The two women working were friendly and welcoming, which made it an even nicer afternoon treat. I ended up staying to eat there since the dining area felt inviting and cozy. It took me a while to come around on this place, but I finally have. I came here on the Food and Wine Walk a few years ago and got some crappy pasta so I didn't return for a year or so, but since this has probably taken the best pizza title in Red Bank. I recently ordered a Cheesesteak with onions & peppers and a cheese calzone. The calzone was big and pretty good but the cheesesteak was amazing. Definitely one of the better ones I've ever had from a pizza place. We have also ordered various pizzas (red & white) and other food items and everything has been consistently good. Be very careful when reading the menu and the phrase "prices subject to change" While that may be helpful if your menu is old or outdated, here it opens the door for "lets make up the price as we go along." My thick spanish accent upset Janice who answered the phone and i paid for it when i picked it up. They would not provide an itemized bill, they charged me more than they charged me a couple weeks ago (for the same food and when my friend called in). I dont think they should be insulted if they cant explain their prices. The pizza is just ok. The salad is average. the chicken parm was good. The penne vodka was regular. the mozzarella sticks were small considering they come directly from restaurant depot. Linguini clam sauce was slightly better than average. I should've written this review a long time ago because I've enjoyed the food from New Corner for many years. We've ordered pizzas and eaten in. Never was I so thrilled with a restaurant as during this crisis. We have ordered twice since we've had to 'stay at home.' First time was pizza with eggplant. Never tried that before. My other half was skeptical and made sure I knew it but he ended up labeling it 'a new taste treat.' Then we splurged on the next meal. He had veal parm and I had linguine with shrimp and clams in garlic cream sauce. Decadent! The entrees came with a terrific side salad and a loaf of bread. We both put the salads in the fridge and had them for lunch the next day. They were as fresh as when the arrived. He scoffed up his entire entree the first night, me, the more dainty eater ate the shrimp and clams and a bit of pasta the first night. Let me tell you, The seafood is as good as I have ever had! They have an excellent purveyor. I refrigerated a good size leftover portion of pasta and sauce. For dinner the next day I defrosted some frozen shrimp that I had in my freezer with some frozen broccoli - gave them a quick sauté in a frying pan, nuked the pasta and mixed the whole thing together. Once again it was to die for! I almost forgot the Italian bread. If you have an air fryer, leftover bread takes a minute it two to become fresh and toasted again just like it came out of the oven. That was breakfast on day two! So our two meals went a long long way and everything was delicious. We also indulged in dessert. Chocolate cake and carrot cake. Both excellent! I want to also say that delivery with Grubhub was such a blessing. Making a tough time easier. Since everything is electronic, there's no interaction with anyone. I left directions to ring bell and leave package on my bench and that's what they did. Since the tip goes on the card, I didn't have to feel guilty avoiding contact. Give this a try, I guarantee you'll be happy. And once this is all over, the restaurant is right on Front Street, not far from Riverview Hospital. The exterior does not match the gourmet quality of the food inside, pizza included. It's our go-to once we can "go." In the meantime we'll keep checking out the extensive menu by ordering in. read more

Possibly the most delicious pizza I've ever had. While I may be new to Red Bank, I'm a local and proud NJ native. And, as a result, I know how delicious pizza can be. The verdict at New Corner? This is possibly the most delicious pizza I've ever tasted -- just sooooo yummy. A real treat. Chicken wings were okay. Sauce was excellent, but chicken was just okay, maybe not trimmed enough. Very good pizza for a decent price. The cheesesteak was fantastic but for delivery, the fries are not packaged correctly to prevent sogginess. Chicken parm was disappointingly average, too much sauce makes the bread a bit soggy. With Villa Restaraunt closed (Not to be confused with Villa Pizza in the old ShopRite plaza) this is one of the better options in the area. read more

My friends and I had the most delicious food from this restaurant. A gastronomical delight. While unassuming in nature, The food was fresh, flavouful and lovely. We had a bit of everything. Unassuming Italian place in downtown with a letter missing from its sign. I lived here for a year before I decided to try it. Now I have been back many times usually for pizza but tonight's takeaway dinner of chicken parmigiana was especially good. Perfectly fried breaded chicken breast; crisp but still moist; seasoned even before the delicious red sauce was added. And plenty of it. Linguine with more sauce, green salad and a very large Italian hero type roll (or small Italian bread) completed the order. It was enough for two of us with some leftover chicken (although the night is young yet). $23.00. One of the more expensive items on the menu! New Corner has the best pizza in Red Bank. Actually it has some of the best food period. Their lunch menu is very reasonably priced. The service is top notch. The bread is always fresh, and the vegetables are even fresher. My favorite dinners include Penne Vodka, Chicken Parmesan, and Shrimp Ravioli in pink sauce. My husband goes to New Corner alot on Fridays with his coworkers - says their lunches are great, big portions and cheap prices. So we decided to get the restaurant.com coupon and give it a try for dinner. Teeny tiny pizza counter area opens up to a big and very pretty dining room - very nice and comfy. BYO is fantastic and the prices are decent and comparable . I had the shrimp ravioli which was topped with mushrooms, shrimp and artichokes - it was tasty - not bad, not fantastic, but tasty. My husband got a simple penne with tomato sauce and fresh mozz melted on top - it was fantastic. Both entrees came with salads which were ok - greens with 1 tomato and their house dressing - eh, whatever. Dessert was terrific on the other hand! I had the caramel pecan apple cake and it was very good with coffee. Ice cream for my daughter and husband. Next time we'll ditch the coupon and come to New Corner for pizza! read more

The epitome of Italian comfort food, coupled with fast and friendly delivery, makes this a favourite place to order takeout from when visiting friends in Red Bank. The standout menu item here has to be the lasagna. Creamy, cheesy, generously full of a fantastic bolognese sauce, and baked to perfection. The pieces are huge and more suited to what you're going to be served at nonna's instead of a restaurant. Not far behind the lasagna would have to be the penne alla vodka. If you're unlucky enough to be sick, be sure to order the chicken tortellini soup for an Italian antibiotic, and if you have little ones they'll love the kid's chicken fingers. Maybe the most surprising find here was the chef's salad, which is packed with enough meats and cheese to be considered an Italian hero but for the lack of bread. I was back in Red Bank this weekend, and got to grab dinner here with a friend who lives downtown. We sat outside so we could watch all the afternoon drunks trip over the sidewalk as they worked their way back to the cars. Must have been a pretty good "Beer and Wine" festival in the park because these people were in bad shape. Good entertainment all around! We ordered some garlic knots and a plain pie. The food came quick, hot and it was better than any RB pizza I have had. OK, first the knots. They were cooked just right...not the doughy kind, and not the burned ones either. These knots had an outside crunch, but soft inside. Juuuuusssttt right. It was a bonus that there must have been a dozen knots in there. The pizza was your typical NY style thin crust. Great slightly crunchy below, and the sauce was great! The cheese wasn't covered in grease, which tells me they probably went the extra step to get the higher quality cheese. It paid off. Five (don't judge me) slices later, we paid and were on our way. It is not often I get to have NY style pizza out here in the midwest. Next time I am in RB, this place is definitely on my list! read more
