Tried new choice again since my original mail place was bought and sold to new owners like 3 times. Haven't been back to new choice since I was in high school but I'm glad I did. Clean and ample space, the fill I received took a little over an hour and prices were on par to the area. So far my nails are lasting very well and I'm hoping they last another week. The BEST nail salon! Was looking for a place to get my nails done with my bridal party before my wedding. After calling a few places that did not want to accommodate that many people, I called and spoke to Kelly. She was so excited that we wanted to come get our nails done there and she was super accommodating. Went there with 5 girls, and they had the chairs waiting for us. They did a fabulous job and were the friendliest and most professional nail salon I've been to. The massages!!!!!! Amazing! Called same day for an appointment and got in- should have been a red flag. My wife was starving and had a cup of soup with her and asked her technician if it was ok to eat it while she was getting her nails done. Tech said "Yes is ok!" Now I get that I'm a man, but that doesn't mean I want a Zip-zap-zoom manicure. Sparks shot from my tech's hands as she had me finished in 5 mins! No hand massage, no lotion- zero. I sat at the drying station looking forlornly into the fish mouth of the "massagie tip jar". I guess I don't rate a quick rub on the shoulders either here. Then suddenly, the manager/owner (male) screamed at my wife:" NO EATI HERE!" so loudly that the whole place turned to look at the offense. The wife turned beet red and closed her soup cup. We were aghast. Garbage experience and shaming by the owner who needs a course in gracious treatment of his paying customers, and letting all his technicians know the rules that he invents on the spot. read more

Nope!! I will not go back to this place even if is free. They do not respect your time. I called in advance and I made an appointment for a gel filling and pedicure and when I got there owner didnt even acknowledge that I was standing there. She then told me I had to wait and that she did not know the time someone was going to be free. I left and will.never come back. I called posh nails right in town and they took me right away. The owner of new choice nails cares more about money then taking care of her customers. They are more money for a lousy service...they charge $50.00 for a uv filling and posh dies same job and quality for 38.00!!! read more

Nice salon, very clean and has a great selection of colors. I like that it's not a busy lot so parking is easy. I accidentally parked in the next lot (behind Grandma's Pies) but the whole lot was almost empty and it's easy to walk through to the nail salon. Kathy did my nails and she did a nice job. Filed a little too close to my cuticles but next time I will request they be a little more gentle. Otherwise I had a great fill. The best was that I got a free massage by John and it was great!! I might be back just for a massage! Been back a second time and my only two issues are that they leave my nails too thin and they keep trying to cut or file my cuticle. I'm not fond of bleeding! They also try hard to sell a massage and although they're good, I don't like the "hard sell". They're also more expensive for folks than the others ($25 versus $20). The ladies that work here are so sweet! The salon is super clean, even the bathrooms and foot tubs. I barely even smell nail polish when I walk in, maybe they have better than normal ventilaiton? I have no idea...but it's the only place in the area where I will go for a manicure or pedicure. **Just a note, you cannot tip with credit cards- I found out the hard way when I had no cash on me. This was the best gel manicure (actually any type) that I've had anywhere. Kelly is so good at what she does. I'm picky about the shape of my nails and she listens and nailed it. (No pun intended). New Choice is my choice for mani/pedis. The staff is lovely and attentive. Most importantly, they pay attention to cleanliness and remember details. On my second return, they recalled I like a 20 minute massage, massage my hands, not arms, how I like my nails shaped, etc. The technician even recalled the color I loved! They line the pedicure tubs with a liner for sanitary purposes and the tools are used once and then put aside for overnight cleaning. Every mani/pedi gets a new emory board and set of tools. I've been going here for several years and it's been really gooD. But I especially love it even more with what Kelly has done to meet the demands of Covid times. The pedicure stations are every other one; she's adhering to appointments so it doesn't get overcrowded; and there's a divider between you and the technician when you're getting a pedicure. I would have given a 5 star review except the nice girl who did my nails was pushing the spa pedicure so much it was getting uncomfortable. She asked if I wanted to try one of the spa pedi's and gave me the menu to look at. That was no problem. I looked but decided I didn't want to spend $40 on a pedi that day so I said "no thank you. Just regular pedi". After placing menu back on table she came back and said "you know regular pedi is $25 now, so you could just get the spa pedi for a little more" Awkward. "No thank you. I am extremely pleased with the quality of my manicure and the cleanliness of the salon. Alice did my manicure and did a phenomenal job. Horrible... I came in and had a fill in... the same day my nail broke... I could tell that the guy was new and was having issues... anyway called and they said come in tomorrow at 11 and we will fix it.. YES!!! Found a new favorite place! Went there last Friday and loved it. Jennifer did a spectacular job on my mani-pedi. The locale was quiet, clean and enjoyable. Not as "fancy" as other places but I think that will change as it's under new management. I don't really need a 60" TV though, I need someone to care about me as a customer and I felt they did. Sad to write this because they are all so nice there but I went for a pedicure, paid $45 for callus removal and stone massage and my callus's are not any better, the stone massage was nothing special and my French manicure chipped on two toes on the 3rd day and I had to go back in to get them fixed which they did happily but the fixed nails are already chipped again and now I have two chipped ones on the other foot! basically 5 chipped toe nails in 7 days is pretty bad. I haven't been hiking, to the beach or anything that could have contributed to them looking this bad in such a short period of time. My friend had hers done as well in a French manicure and hers look very nice still, she has put on a clear coat a few times to prevent what happened to mine, I've just never had to do that and I always get french. I guess I just had some bad luck. I could possibly give them a second try since they were so nice. We'll see. Update: not going back. Every toe chipped and peeled off. Waste of money. read more

This place is amazing! You do pay a little more, but it's worth it! First of all, they are immaculately clean. Secondly, they treat you as a valued customer, not like someone they need to quickly get in and out. You are actually pampered! My gel manicure lasts 3 weeks! I've never waited, unlike at some other very poorly run places in the area. They do up sell services, but you can say no. Let's just say, I signed up for yelp and am writing this review as I still sit in the salon. THAT is how un satisfied I am with the service here. I called early on and made an appointment for later in the day because I was told they were busy. I come at my appointment time and was given probably the fastest pedicure I've ever had in my life. Not in the slightest bit relaxing because I could tell the technician was rushing because the owner was breaking down their neck to finish. I understand a basic manicure/ pedicure may not have all the frills of something more expensive but it certainly doesn't mean skirting on basic service. I came to relax for a bit and treat myself and ended up feeling like the money was stolen from my hand just to keep accommodating the people walking in. I will never come to this salon again and I certainly encourage others to follow my lead. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, and I've never written a bad review of a place I once liked before now. I have taken a few people to new choice nails and it's always been a good experience, but the last time I took my mom the staff was rude, unprofessional, and very messy. My mom asked to cut/file her nails shorter and the nail tech, Amy, was making insulting faces and noises. After she requested a new tech, Amy did my nails because there was nobody else. I asked her if she was going to be mad and she said "no". At some point, she turned to me and said, "your mom is complicated". Very unprofessional. When my nails were drying I noticed that there was a lot of polish on the skin around my nails. I asked the manager if I could get that cleaned. Without apologizing she quickly swiped the sides and walked away. I was left there to pick off the polish from the sides of the nail myself. A few days later I even noticed that there was polish on the skin of my toes. Extremely unprofessional and messy and rude. Not the combo you want from a nail place, to where most people go to relax and feel pretty and pampered. read more

This nail salon is the best. Clean clean all tools are autoclaved. Each station is very clean, each station has the heat lamps right under table at a perfect height and are timed when on, not like other places were your nails get baked with inconsistent minutes, and heat lamps they pull from under there desk getting filled with nail dust. Best massages everyone is very friendly. Jason fixed my nails that were done 2 weeks ago at another place, what a fabulous job he did, very detail orientated. He had to not just do a fillin but fix the job they did and repair my cuticles that the last person made bleed. Excellent. Highly recommend. read more
