Wow, where to start with this place…read more The food is good, but ordering it is VERY difficult. It's not a matter of not quite understanding what they are saying, it's a matter of them not speaking much English at all. So if you are not just picking something off the menu (like if you don't want onions, or you want to kick up the spicy heat) you are going to have a hard time, or not be happy with what you get. We were lucky that the owner's kid was there. We placed our order with the 10 year old kid who then had to translate it to the workers. In the end the food came out great & I'm glad that the kid was there playing Pokémon! The place is a bit small but not many people eat in at these type of places. It could also use some serious cleaning.

I have never had worse Chinese food. We got the steamed dumplings, the dough was very thick, not…read moremuch seasoning on the meat on the inside. Boring. We got the Hunan Chicken combo and Szechuan chicken combo. I have never had Hunan chicken before, so i googled it before ordering. Sauce sounded amazing! With chilis, ginger, garlic, soy. None of those flavors were in the sauce. Szechuan sauce, nothing like what it's supposed to taste like. The vegetables in both combos were very fresh but since the sauce was on everything and was just awful. We couldn't eat it. The worst of it all was the lo mein. I couldn't believe how bad it was. I even ordered the house special lo mein, thinking it would have extra flavor or something. I had 1 fork full and couldn't stomach it at all. It was awful that the combos were truly, trash - Never again.

If this was a take out Chinese restaurant, with take out prices, I'd give 5 stars all day. Food…read morewas very good, service was excellent. We were seated, ate, and paid the bill in under an hour. However, prices were outrageous. $60 for a little piece of sea bass and some bokchoi. $30+ for the chicken and scallion plate. Overhyped for what it is.

After trying to nail down a reservation for another Turning Stone restaurant, we hesitantly made…read morelast minute reservations at Peach Blossom. There were more pros than cons and overall it was a solid experience. The pros: -the ambiance is gorgeous, Asian decor is tasteful and modern. -the service was kind and attentive. -the soft traditional Chinese instrumental music playing in the background was nice. -tea was on point. -they have a traditional Chinese dish menu in addition to the primary Chinese American menu. -the beef teriyaki on a stick appetizer was hands down the very best part of our meal, succulent and perfectly cooked. Could have had a plate of these. The cons: -price is high for what you get. $26 for lo mein is steep. -the main entrees: You would anticipate the food being a bit better and/or elevated than your average Chinese takeout, but our main entrees were on par with our regular Chinese takeout place. I ordered the Peking shredded pork dish and my SO ordered roast pork lo mein. We both liked our dishes just fine but after the incredible appetizer, they were a bit underwhelming. The service was great and presentation of food was refined but i didn't walk away feeling like the value was all there, except for the app. Great place for a date night.

I have to side with the negative reviewers on this one. I get that several buffet places haven't…read morebeen the same since Covid and a lot of them are now gone. But because this was somewhat near the edge of town, I thought this would be a nice place. I did read mixed reviews on Google, but Yelp had mostly negatives. The selection was very poor, and there were some basics like crab rangoon (which surprisingly wasn't that good) and rice, noodles, yada. I also have to agree with the reviewer that talked about the front counter guy as he acted like he was afraid of me. Don't get me wrong, I am not one to poke fun at one's disabilities...he should've been placed somewhere else in the restaurant.

So I'm in Rome, New York, right? And I'm starving. I mean, I haven't eaten since breakfast, and…read moreit's already dinner time and I'm thinking, there's gotta be some decent restaurants in this town, right? But no. No, they don't. All they have is fast food. Fast food everywhere. McDonald's, Taco Bell, KFC. And then I see it. A sign. A sign that says "Kings Buffet". And I think, maybe this is it. Maybe this is my salvation. Maybe this is where I'll find some real food. Some authentic, delicious, satisfying food. And I look at the reviews online, and they're mixed. I don't care. I'm desperate. I'm willing to take a chance. I'm willing to gamble with my stomach. So I go in. And I see the food. And it's... standard. Standard buffet quality. Nothing special. Nothing terrible. Just... food. And there's a lot of it. A lot of variety. And I'm surprised by the variety of non-Asian food on the menu. I'm hungry. I'm not picky. I'm not snobby. I'm not a food critic. I'm just a gal who wants to eat. So I grab a plate, and I pile it up. I pile it up with everything. Everything I can fit on the plate. And I go to my table, and I start eating. And it's... good. It's hot, it's fresh, it's filling. It reminds me a little bit of the Golden Corral. And I enjoy it. I enjoy my dinner. I go in hungry, and I leave full. And I think, that's all I can ask for. That's all I can ask for from a buffet.
