When I was…read morejust 17 years old, Affordable Smiles gave me veneers... something I now question how I was even approved for at that age, considering I had no income and was only on Medicaid. From the start, the work was poor. Just two years later, my veneers began falling off, and over the years it's only gotten worse. Fast forward 13 years, and I'm now having to super glue one of my front veneers just to keep it in place. I recently called them to see if they could help after my veneer fell off. I came in hoping for at least a temporary fix, but all they did was take x-rays, charge me $90, and tell me it would cost $7,000 to replace the veneers. They wouldn't even reattach the veneer that had fallen off, not even as a temporary solution. What bothers me most is the complete lack of compassion. If they were able to do my veneers "under the table" when I was a minor with no resources, why now act like helping me with a small fix is out of the question? The experience felt more like a sales pitch than patient care. Save your time and money. Go somewhere that actually stands by their work and treats patients with respect.

I thought it would be convenient, but unfortunately, that was not the case. My first visit was a regular exam and checkup, followed by a cleaning on a separate visit, which went completely fine. After that, I scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction but had to cancel the appointment. I was told I would receive a full refund (almost $1,000), so I went ahead and canceled. That same day, I also scheduled a new appointment for a filling. I called on Monday to cancel the wisdom tooth extraction and request the refund, then came in on Friday for my scheduled filling. When I arrived, the front desk told me my appointment was never scheduled. They claimed they didn't know who scheduled it, suggested I may have called the wrong office, or that I scheduled through an operating team that "doesn't always communicate with them." They even tried to say it was my responsibility to call and verify my appointment, which I find unreasonable since they were the ones who scheduled me. Thankfully, the clinical staff was able to squeeze me in, and I only waited about 30 minutes. I truly appreciated that. However, the front office has been an ongoing issue. I later found out that when I called on Monday to cancel my wisdom tooth extraction, no one ever submitted my refund. When I went in on Friday, they processed the refund right in front of me -- days after it should have already been done. Since then, I've continued to get the runaround. I'm now being told the refund is still "pending" and that there's no update until someone else approves it, which could apparently take months. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially for such a large amount of money. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because the doctors, dental assistants, and hygienists were all amazing -- kind, professional, and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints about the back office. Unfortunately, the front desk is disorganized and unreliable, and I don't want to deal with that again.

Then they texted me I had a $50 credit so I said msil me a check. They said we can only apply it to your next bill. Several months later they said "We don't take Humana insurance anymore!" I asked for my $50 but they ignored my request and refused to give my money back. Do not pay them until insurance has paid or they will keep your money.
