Infection. I've been on meds for days. This photo is after a bandage wrap of 12 hrs and 18 days in.

I have a lot of tattoos. From The moment I got home it didn't sit right with me because the clear tacky covering was all blood. I have a LOT of tattoos and know how to care for them. It never went right after my tattoo from Josh. I reached out to him about how it was infected and not healing. I then reached out to a person whom I was told by Josh that was basically St Marqs apprentice and they ran it together. I didn't receive any message from Ericka whom tattooed me 10 yrs ago....several times. I will never go back after all this and my husbands tattoos from St Marq are trash.

Ericka's the bomb!!!! Wow what a wonderful experience....stopped in on Friday gave ideas for my Taz coverup, and my wife and 18 year old sons tribute tats. She set the appointment for next day at 1. We showed up with our other son and she said she could fit him in as well. She went back to create his and we were in the chair by 1:15. It was very clean and we had a great experience! Bonus: She had parks and Rec on....boom!!!!!

Justin the piercer is great! Don't like Blake the tattoo artist much though. Great place to get pierced!

She was nervous, so I told her that I'd get my nostril pierced so she could see how it worked first. We ended up at Revolution because i work at Purdue and they said they were fine with doing piercings for teenagers. It's a small shop, so we had to wait a bit while Pirate, the piercer, worked on a couple of college girls who wanted piercings. by the way, ladies -- you tip your piercer. It's customary. If they do a good job, $10 per piercing is normal, unless you're getting a complex piercing. Don't be rude. Anyway, so once the flock of co-eds was gone, we had our turn. I had a look at the autoclave and generally reviewed their sanitation steps. I'm not in the business, but I know enough to at least make sure that I'm safe. I sat down on the exam table, he prepped me, and marked the spot on my nose. It's probably worth getting a handheld mirror so we can examine ourselves without getting up for the floor-length mirror (I don't mind, but it probably will make the process more efficient). I had my other nostril pierced a few years ago and retired that piercing, so I would say this time was a little bit more painful than the previous, but that may be me getting older or my nostril tissue getting thicker (is that a Thing?), rather than any reflection on the piercer's skill. The kid hopped up and was done pretty quickly. We ended up going with two labret studs rather than a CBR. The experience was quick, and he didn't push the cleaning products on us, which I appreciate. Neither of us has had any problems with the piercings we got. I don't remember how much the cost was, but I think we paid around $150 after tip for the 3 piercings. I definitely tipped a bit more than usual, simply because I realize that piercing a 14 year old probably requires additional stress.

I gave him my design with requested alterations, which he did on his iPad in just a few minutes. The space was clean, safe, and sanitary. We were not sure about what size to get, so he printed a few variations and advised us on the one that would show the fine-line look we were going for. Pablo was also friendly and informative-- talking us through each step. It was my daughter's first tattoo, and he was attentive with her especially, turning on a fan when she said she was a little nervous. We will definitely return! They also do piercings and permanent makeup on site.

I got a small tattoo on my lower leg about 23 years ago and have been wanting to get it touched up…read morefor a long time but have always been kind of nervous about it. My past experience and knowledge about tattoo shops is that they can be very intimidating. That was NOT my experience today!! I first met the guys from Sacred Apple about 20 years ago when I was doing something for a radio station that I worked for. I have always said I wanted to go there to get my work done. The owners have changed and so have the artists, but I felt like this is where I wanted to go. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. There were 6 cars parked out front and I thought that meant there would be a wait. I was wrong. The shop is really large and can handle multiple clients at a time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owner, Travis. I explained to him what I wanted done and he told me he could fit me in right now. He told me that they are pretty busy through April but because mine was simple he could get to it. His tattoo booth are was clean and well organized. I watched him take extra steps to insure an aseptic and sanitized technique. He talked to me throughout which helped with the slight discomfort/pain. We talked about some possible additions in the future to my simple tattoo. The whole process was less than 30 minutes. At the conclusion, he walked me through the after care process and he thanked me, I paid up (very reasonable) and I was on my way. The whole time I was in the shop, I felt comfortable and welcomed. He made sure that he asked me if it was okay if someone who just walked in the front door could come back so he could answer their questions. I appreciated the courtesy. I waited almost 20 years to get it updated and I am glad that I chose Sacred Apple.

She let me know my other options, and without pressuring me to get any ear piercings, helped me choose an upper cartilage. This was $10 cheaper than my original conch hopes, and i am so thankful she helped me choose a piece that would heal well, rather than getting an extra $10! I will absolutely be back to finish decorating my ears!

A friend and I went here last night to get tattoos after trying at Sacred Apple (they were, of…read morecourse, too busy). Ink Well wasn't busy until after he started on our tattoos, but we were lucky enough to get in and get ours done. I promised myself I'd never go anywhere but Sacred Apple in Lafayette, but seeing as they were busy and seeing as Ink Well had a good bit of text work to their name, I decided to go with Ink Well for this one. I love, love, love it. It's not what I had envisioned, but after talking through the design with him and seeing it transferred on my foot, I knew it was perfect. My friend got her first tattoo last night, and she was pretty nervous. The only reason for the four stars here is because he wasn't really listening to her the first few times she walked through what she wanted with the tattoo and it took a while to work through exactly what was going to be done. Once they communicated, though, she ended up with precisely what she wanted in a tattoo. Overall, a good experience at Ink Well. If I get another text tattoo I'll be coming back here!

Absolutely appalled at how friendly this dude was that pierced me and seemed to have done it…read moreright.. I just got my conch and a cartilage pierced by him. He used a needle to pierce my ear and then put the jewelry through. Okay cool. I get home and go to clean it for the second time a few hours later and wonder why it still hurts so much and has so much pressure feeling. I finally touch it and move it around enough to realize this dude literally put the sharp pointy jewelry in with the clamp backs (like you would buy at Sally's with the piercing gun kit) instead of a straight bar with the twist on top/back! Like no wonder I felt pressure, he had them clamped so tight on my ear the post wouldn't even slide back and forth. So my husband just spent the last 45 minutes (at 3 AM) trying to put different bars in it that I had at home from previously getting my tragus pierced. No wonder he gave me a "deal". He clearly did not have the correct tools to do his job right. Absolutely would not recommend him to anyone wanting their piercing done correctly the first time. Waste of money considering I could've done exactly what he did at home by myself (considering I have on my cartilage on the other ear). Ridiculous!!!
