I lived having Sydney help me with my recent piercings. I came in hoping for a conch and nostril piercing, but after examining my anatomy, Syd discussed options other than the conch, because she was concerned it wouldn't heal properly with my ear shape. She let me know my other options, and without pressuring me to get any ear piercings, helped me choose an upper cartilage. This was $10 cheaper than my original conch hopes, and i am so thankful she helped me choose a piece that would heal well, rather than getting an extra $10! I will absolutely be back to finish decorating my ears! read more

Sacred Apple Dermagraphics - Tattoo Near Me - Lafayette, Indiana

I got a small tattoo on my lower leg about 23 years ago and have been wanting to get it touched up for a long time but have always been kind of nervous about it. My past experience and knowledge about tattoo shops is that they can be very intimidating. That was NOT my experience today!! I first met the guys from Sacred Apple about 20 years ago when I was doing something for a radio station that I worked for. I have always said I wanted to go there to get my work done. The owners have changed and so have the artists, but I felt like this is where I wanted to go. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. There were 6 cars parked out front and I thought that meant there would be a wait. I was wrong. The shop is really large and can handle multiple clients at a time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by the owner, Travis. I explained to him what I wanted done and he told me he could fit me in right now. He told me that they are pretty busy through April but because mine was simple he could get to it. His tattoo booth are was clean and well organized. I watched him take extra steps to insure an aseptic and sanitized technique. He talked to me throughout which helped with the slight discomfort/pain. We talked about some possible additions in the future to my simple tattoo. The whole process was less than 30 minutes. At the conclusion, he walked me through the after care process and he thanked me, I paid up (very reasonable) and I was on my way. The whole time I was in the shop, I felt comfortable and welcomed. He made sure that he asked me if it was okay if someone who just walked in the front door could come back so he could answer their questions. I appreciated the courtesy. I waited almost 20 years to get it updated and I am glad that I chose Sacred Apple. read more

Sacred Apple Dermagraphics - the hole is the piercing site. COMPLETELY wrong - Tattoo Near Me - Lafayette, Indiana

I love Sacred Apple. I went in last summer to get a bad tattoo covered up--Dave listened to what I wanted, drew out a design, and I got a beautiful tattoo for a reasonable price. I went back a couple of days ago and Eddie was available for another tattoo, which was even more reasonably priced than my last one. Their artwork is absolutely beautiful, and they do everything in front of you so you know they're clean and hygienic. I'm going to definitely miss Sacred Apple when I move! Tip: they're usually booked up, but it's worth stopping in to see if they have time free. I've had both my tattoos done on a walk-in basis, but that was sheer luck! read more

I do NOT advise anyone to go to this place for a tattoo. I waited 2 months on my appointment just to get there and be told the guy doing my tattoo is out sick. There wasnt anyone who called me to tell me my appointment was canceled which is very unprofessional! I drove 30 miles! Plus I had to give a 50.00 deposit that their telling me i wont get back. I'm fighting to get my money back. I already made an appointment with another place who got me in a week later with no deposit required. I advise everyone to rethink if ur thinking about using Sacred Apple!!! read more

Made an appointment day of for later on in that day, and no one was there. Sat in their parking lot for 15 minutes, and still nothing. Tried calling for 40 minutes, and still nothing. They will not answer Facebook messages either. Very unprofessional and most definitely disappointed........definitely not going there again for anything read more

I got my nipples pierced here FOUR years ago and I have had ZERO issues and have never had to return to the studio since having them pierced. The only time i had to go back was after i lost one end of my piercing in my bed and they did it FREE of charge. These people are genuine and caring individuals and I will come back here every time :) read more

I've had 3 tattoos done here by 3 different people. All 3 have very uneven lines and shading. All 3 tattoos ink have now bled outwards. Along with that, I had my ears pierced here and she couldn't even do that right. Uneven placement on my ears so one sits higher. My recommendation, don't be cheap with where you go for ink. You're much better off driving to Indy or Chicago. You'll pay more, but your work will look significantly better. read more

If I could give this place no-stars I would! Three of my friends got their nipples pierced here and we went to a different shop for tattoos and they asked to see the piercings (we had talked about it with them). He is a licensed piercer and tattoo artist and told all three of my friends that their nipples are incorrectly pierced and didn't even have real metal in them! If you don't want a messed-up piercing, DON'T go here. read more

Piercer is amazing!! I got my conch and daith done here and i barely felt a thing. I've gotten my industrial done previously and wish i waited to get it done here because it was so easy read more

Got cartilege pieced here by DeeDee, as well as her expert advice on some other piercings that were behaving strangely from a different place. She did it so quickly and painlessly, and was also very friendly. If I ever want anything else done I'll go here! read more

Sacred Apple has been open for many years. They have several wonderful tattoo artists and piercers. Their business is certified so you know they are doing things hygienically. Can't wait to get my next tattoo there. read more

Sacred Apple Tattoo is amazing. The owner, Travis, hooked me up with some nice ink. Even more amazingly, my daughter was with me and wearing a shirt for a group she belongs to that raises money for Riley Children's Hospital, Travis told me to donate the cost of my tattoo to Riley. What an inspirational and talented individual. Thanks Travis! read more

Eddie at Sacred Apple did a half sleeve a couple of years ago for me while I was still in nursing school. Eddie was very laid back and cool and did clean, quality work at a more than fair price. This is the only location I would allow to touch me in the Lafayette/West Lafayette area, after collecting ink for the last 20 years. Eddie was also very punctual and did his best to accommodate me around my hectic study schedule. Thanks Eddie! read more

Went into this place to get my first tattoo - must say I was less than impressed with the staff. Some guy that looked half drunk, and acted half stoned came out and asked what I wanted. I told him I had a design in mind, a simple minimalist tattoo that would consist of about 12-14 lines, all in black. He said he would have time to do it in like 5 WEEKS?! Then told me it would be about $200 for the tattoo. Now, I could see if you are busy a few days... but to say you could do it in 5 weeks is ridiculous. They lost my business right there. Walk ins welcome? I don't think so. Then, to tell me that you'll charge me $200 for 12-14 lines with no color and probably about a 7-8" by 3-4" tattoo? Get real, it may be my first - but I am not ignorant of pricing. Went to a competitor, They told me to sit down and they could do it for $100. Don't recommend - their work may be great, but half drunken stoned tattoo artists who want you to come back weeks later? Don't think so! read more

My 7 year old's earring holes closed. We wanted to re-pierce her ears through her original holes. The people at the mall are not professionals so I looked on yelp for a professional body piercing studio. Dee Dee was extremely nice and comforting to my daughter. She was able to use a special tool to reopen the existing holes with minimal pain. I'm so happy we found her! Thanks Dee Dee! read more

I travel a lot and like to visit different shops around the areas I go to. This is by far my second favourite shop out of all the shops ive been to! Dee, the piercer, is super informed and super sweet. Will answer any questions you have about piercings and any concerns you have too. The are all super friendly and the atmosphere is exactly what you hope it would be! Everyone makes you feel super comfortable. It's definitely an all around great place! read more

Love Sacred Apple. Any Tattoo or piercing I have had, I have chosen to get here because of the way it is run. It is always clean, and friendly. Every person they hire becomes a friend to the other employees and you can feel a strong connection when you walk in the door. Eddie is my favorite artist and has probably been there the longest. He has to be everybody's favorite because his little space is the first one you see when you walk through the doors and he always has clients. He is so laid back, funny, and kind while doing art I can see why he is always booked in advance! read more

I have only come to this shop a handful of times to get my tattoos. I got my first one here by a guy named Art. And he messed it up. So I didn't want to come back, my friends have gotten recently some nice work done here. So I reconsidered and came back to get a tattoo. My experience was HORRIBLE. I came in for a piece that the artist seemed completely comfortable with doing so I let him. That was my mistake. I had to go in two sessions to get what I thought was going to be a watercolor lion. Instead I got what looks like a 2nd graders version of it. It looks as if it was drawn with crayon. I paid $80 for this junk that I now have to go get covered and fixed by the person I should have gone to in the first place. Davion from evil genius on Main Street. If you value your artwork I suggest you have the artist show you drawings before you let them tattoo you. read more
