When I first walked in, the receptionist was there and was talking to someone else and failed to say anything to me. Being new, I didn't know if i was suppose to check in or not or what to do. But after standing there and still being ignored. I finally asked and was told sit down. The waxer came out and just asked if it was me, and just walked off assuming I knew to follow her. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. Didn't ask how I liked my brows or anything. She did an ok job cleaning up my stray hairs and getting the job done. So that's why I'm giving it a 3 instead of a 2. Not trying to be mean toward the business in any way, I just wanted to give an honest account of my experience there to anyone who is looking for waxing.

Parking was easy. The place was clean. A nice selection of nibblers if you're hungry. I was nicely greeted when I arrived, shown to the waiting area and offered a beverage. I didn't use the bathroom or change room so I can't comment on those. I had an RMT massage and it was very good; she worked on the areas that needed it most and had good pressure. I was concerned when we started the appointment late but she massaged for the full time I paid for, which is a contributing factor to me becoming a return customer! I will be back (in fact I already booked my next appointment!)

I used to go to Pino's regularly and buy my mom gift certificates for this place, but after this experience I will not support this salon again. I went in to have my hair balayaged for my wedding in a beautiful chestnut brown ending in light blond highlights. I mentioned that I was anxious as my wedding is in two days and I was nervous something might go wrong. I was assured they did this all the time and it would work out perfectly. Fast forward nearly 4 hours and instead of a beautiful summer look, I come out with ashy black/grey hair with grey highlights that aged me 20 years. I pointed out that it was grey and that my hair didn't look anything like my reference photo. We toned it again and it was even greyer. I pointed this out again and that my hair is the antithesis of what I asked for, and rather than any offer to fix it or make it right, I got gaslit and was told that it's absolutely blond and it's just the lighting. I was then charged nearly $500 and while in tears in horror, I paid and left, too shocked that this is the level of customer service one of the most expensive and highest rated salons in the city offers. I burst into tears when I got home and my partner insisted we go back the next day to get it fixed. We show up and I point out nicely that my hair is still grey and I'm getting married in 2 days. The person who did my hair just looked at me and said "Well, you should have booked your appointment 2 weeks ago", as though blaming me for not having availability when they did is somehow going to fix the absolute horror of my hair and the fact that I'm out nearly $500 and I'm going to be scrambling to find someone to fix my hair at my further expense. They agreed to tone it again which made the light grey a slightly less grey (now an ugly platinum/grey colour) which with the ugly ashy black/grey still makes my hair looks awful. I will never return to this salon or buy gift certificates for my family again. The complete lack of care for the customer satisfaction and unwillingness to stand by their work is horrifying. My usual hair dresser charges half as much (with tip), does a better job and will actually make it right if I don't love my hair. I thought I'd play it safe and "invest" in a top quality experience since I knew my time was short. Huge mistake. I have no idea how this place is so highly rated if this is how they treat people. I will never return and I suggest if you have an important occasion you find a better quality (and cheaper) salon than this one.

When she shared her enjoyment of a frequent training routine he called her a "... gym junkie.."!!. The overall consultation was unprofessional, insulting, demeaning and offensive. Being in the legal profession, we are utterly appalled Doctor ELMAGRAPHY believes conduct of this nature is acceptable. The establishment is grossly over-rated.
