I've been looking for a waxing place ever since I moved to Waterloo and decided to check this place…read moreout. Although my wax was ok, the whole experience just made me not want to come back. When I first walked in, the receptionist was there and was talking to someone else and failed to say anything to me. Being new, I didn't know if i was suppose to check in or not or what to do. But after standing there and still being ignored. I finally asked and was told sit down. The waxer came out and just asked if it was me, and just walked off assuming I knew to follow her. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. Didn't ask how I liked my brows or anything. She did an ok job cleaning up my stray hairs and getting the job done. So that's why I'm giving it a 3 instead of a 2. Not trying to be mean toward the business in any way, I just wanted to give an honest account of my experience there to anyone who is looking for waxing.

In the winter they will offer to take your coat or offer you coffee or tea while you wait for your appointment. The salon is very modern and very clean and kept up really nicely. I enjoy going and even though was in pain from the electrolysis, the staff made sure I was as comfortable as I could have been. If you are looking to get electrolysis I would highly suggest recommending Katie to be the one to work with you. She is very kind and polite and make sure that you have everything you need to feel comfortable. She will answer any questions you have and takes her time and goes very slow by works very efficiently. Definitely would recommend this salon to anyone looking to relax and few rejuvenated.

Beware of this place. I got scammed and paid for services that I never received and the owner…read more"Michelle Muia" refused to give me a refund and made multiple false accusations. She just wanted me to look like the bad guy infront of her customers. She kept lying every time I needed to book the appt. Saying different excuses every time. She canceled my appointment 4 times, then I went there to get a refund or the service and she said she's giving me nothing because she can't do the eye brows that I want. I paid 450$ and she said I paid 300$. I still have the receipt. And she threatened me to call the place I work at and get me fired for asking for my rights. I've never met a person this greedy and she lies out of her teeth. Save your money and your dignity and go somewhere else. I work hard for my money and saved to get my eyebrows fixed and she stole 450$ from me. The only reason she has 5 star reviews because she has a way to delete bad reviews every time someone exposes her. And to make it even worse she posted my name and where I work and my private information on google for everyone to see, these are the information I filled out in confidentiality at her spa before my appt. After sharing my experience I got multiple people reach out to me stating the same thing happened to them. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business.

Parking was easy. The place was clean. A nice selection of nibblers if you're hungry. I was nicely greeted when I arrived, shown to the waiting area and offered a beverage. I didn't use the bathroom or change room so I can't comment on those. I had an RMT massage and it was very good; she worked on the areas that needed it most and had good pressure. I was concerned when we started the appointment late but she massaged for the full time I paid for, which is a contributing factor to me becoming a return customer! I will be back (in fact I already booked my next appointment!)
