But after standing there and still being ignored. I finally asked and was told sit down. The waxer came out and just asked if it was me, and just walked off assuming I knew to follow her. Didn't say a word to me the entire time. Didn't ask how I liked my brows or anything. She did an ok job cleaning up my stray hairs and getting the job done. I usually get everything done fine and always tip generously -- but today was completely different. I had a truly horrible and terrifying experience. The owner agreed to take me even though she said they were "busy," but suddenly became rude and impatient while working. When I politely asked her to fix a small mistake, she refused to finish my nails and started raising her voice. She even said things like, "You can't go anywhere else, everything is closed," as if trying to pressure me into accepting bad work. When I calmly asked her to stop yelling, she kept arguing, speaking to another worker in their language, and even demanded my phone number -- which I refused to give. I decided to end the service with only a basic sheer coat, handed her $10 for her time, and explained that since she didn't complete the job, I wasn't required to pay more. That's when things turned truly terrifying -- they locked the door and refused to let me leave. I even said, "Fine, how much do you want me to pay? Just let me go!" but she wouldn't answer and kept me locked inside. At that point, it was clear their intention wasn't about the money -- it felt threatening and unsafe. Thankfully, the police arrived quickly, confirmed that what they did was wrong and unlawful, and helped me get out safely. A police report has been filed. To all the ladies in Milton, and especially parents of young girls, please be warned -- this place is dangerous and not safe. What happened to me was completely unacceptable and could happen to someone else.
