They are both amazing at what they do. Lisa is a master w color. She has taken me from light to dark and back again with the patience of a saint, bc I can be very indecisive. As the other review mentioned, she is the best at bayalage and ombré. Antonella gives precision cuts and blow outs and also does great job styling for special occasions. The salon is lovely, quaint and cozy in Lorne Park. I'd follow these women anywhere!

The last time I went for highlights, the colorist was working on someone else and left the chemical in my hair too long which I knew because she had a timer on and hit it twice to reset while she worked on the lady next to me. Once my hair was washed, that attendant called over the colorist to check my hair which turned into 3 extra toner applications. Between the first and second application, she tried to talk me into the significantly blond highlights on my dark hair. It was too drastic and I did not like it. The most disappointing part of this experience, was there was no apology for the lengthy appointment or error and I was charged an extra $75 for the additional toner requirement on an already high fee. I have not gone back since and would advise anyone to think twice. It's fine to pay a lot for consistently great service and quality outcomes but this is not the place to count on and they clearly hide their inexperience.

Highly reccomend for amazing quality haircuts, color, and more!…read more I wanted to dye my hair a different color. Originally, i had like 3-5 different hair salons to choose including Fortelli. I narrowed down based on the best reviews possible and the nearest location. I ended up picking this place! I was able to get a consultation and drove by. The place look amazing! Everyone was so nice. They offered some hot tea or coffee to drink if i needed but i was okay. It was sweet of them though! Before i did the hair coloring session, i had to pay a deposit to ensure my spot for the day then when i'm done completely, i pay the remaining amount. I forgot whom i spoke to but i wanted an ash brown balayage. The lady said my hair is too long and dry and probably would cost anywhere near $600+. She suggested i go for a dark caramel brown since if we go for ash brown, it might take two session. My hair inspiration picture was a little lighter so i agreed and went with the hairstylist's idea. We set out the price as $400+ instead since i had a conversation with my mom and we mutually agreed i'd have my hair cut before we do the actual process. I wasn't sure if i'm allergic to any of the hair products they use including the bleach involved. She kindly put some of the bleach on my arm and said if i don't feel any reaction then i'm good, if so, i'd have to call her to let her know. I didn't have reaction, it was good to go. The hair process took about 4-6 hours. We did the bleaching session, which was an hour (i think). The shampoo and conditioner, was just few minutes. After that, we then put the color in and let it rest before we wash that out. It was such a crazy experience to see my color going from black to light blonde for the bleaching part! The hairstylist blowdried and curled my hair. It looked amazing! I find the price quite expensive but it was worth it! I gave her tip as well before leaving the place. My balayaged hair lasted almost 2 years. There was no orange strands which some people did went through when having colored hair, i didn't get it! I was able to wash normally as i would. Otherwise, lovely experience! PS: this happened in 2019 before covid!

Literally. However I booked the appointment hoping for the best. And I was not disappointed in the slightest. I was greeted at the door by a very friendly face - the same person who was cutting my hair. I came on for a cut, however you will see in the attached photo my hair was kind of... terrible. I called it seaweed. I had a terrible orange band of colour (from a box dye kit I used a while back.. pro tip. Dont do that lol) the roots were blue and the ends were green. In other words. A mess. Not even a hot one. Anyway. I digress. I had problem hair. So number one was to freshen my cut. Make it even, layer it, give it a side shave and keep the length. My stylist Natalia Titoud did an AMAZING job. Like I said however, I had initially come in for only a cut. While she was washing my hair I asked about colour - to make a long story shorter she said she could most certainly do that too. She also had time which was fantastic. Not only was she able to fix my awful hair - she gave me confidence. She also worked under my time constraint (as I had work that day) in a very professional manner. I will most definitely be going back. I have never been more satisfied with a salon experience in my life. My stylist was amazing. And even more so, the other staff were fantastic too! Helping each other out without hesitation when required. Friendly and relaxing environment. Yep. It's safe to say I would reccomend this salon to anyone. I waited a while to review this place as I wanted to see how my colour got along. It's been about two weeks and I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Ever. Also, the colour is still vibrant and as beautiful as the day it was done. I am. Very impressed. Many thanks again to my stylist Natalia Titoud and the La Vita salon and spa staff! An incredible experience that left me feeling beautiful and confident. Thank you! The photos were taken and the hair was styled/cut by Natalia Titoud.

5 out of 5 doesn't cut it!…read more I've been a client of Monika's for some time now. The very first time I saw Monika, it was just to get a hair cut. I had very long (almost waist length hair), and it was dry, damaged, and unmanageable. I decided I was going to cut it, jusy past shoulder length. Monika immediately reassured me, and took control of what I wanted. She listened to what I was asking, made her suggestions, ensured I was ok with this big decision, and then went for it! Before this encounter, I had not been in a salon, for over 2 years. I was sick of bad experiences, or just being content with my new hair cut. During that first cut, Monika got me to open up about my "hair goals". I told her what I wished I could do, but my hair was so damaged, and I was too afraid to try. Again, she reassured me. Finally, when I went back to get a trim, decided to let her take care of colouring it (box colour and roots were attrocious). WOW! Is all I can say, it was absolutely amazing, and I haven't turned back since! I let Monika do whatever she wants with my hair! She definitely knows best, and my hair has come such a long way, is so much healthier (not just healthy looking!), all while I've been able to enjoy having it coloured! Both my brothers also see Monika, and it is amazing. Much like me, one was very shy and timid with hair cuts (wore a hat at all times because he was too nervous to get a hair cut), and Monika world wonders! He doesn't even look like the same person, and certainly does not wear hats all the time anymore! We travel over an hour to see Monika, so I cannot recommend her highly enough!! I've added pictures of the first, and most recent colours from Monika. Even looking at the two before pics, you can see the complete difference in health of my hair. Which was much worse when I first when to see her! Monika does truly amazing work, and has given not only me, but my brother as well, confidence, and a love for our hair, and that is absolutely priceless!
