I hired Dales pool in mount Washington, ky to install an inground pool with liner in the year 2022…read more Unfortunately, the pool has leaked since the first year it was installed. Over the next 3 years, the company repeatedly denied it was leaking, despite patching the liner multiple times. Each season the leak became worse. Eventually, the company told us to obtain a third party evaluation and stated they would pay for that. We had two separate pool professionals inspect the pool, and both immediately identified that the liner had been installed with a wrinkle under the main drain and that the drain gasket screws were stripped. After we reported these findings, Dales pools drained the Pool themselves and applied sealant around the drain, but the pool continued to leak. In the fall of 2025, Brandon , the son, admitted he could not stop the leak and agreed to replace the the liner in the spring of 2026. When spring arrived ,we were told by Corey, the father, they would no longer honor the repair because "someone else drained the pool" even though their own company had drained it during prior repair attempts. We are now facing approximately $7,500 in repairs due to what multiple professionals identified as a faulty install. It was all sunshine and rainbows until it came time for them to honor their word. Then we were ghosted. They will not respond to any communication attempts.

We had numerous companies come out and give estimates and after extensive deliberation went with Omni Pools of Louisville. This was a fabulous choice! The staff was courteous, professional, and friendly. Realistic timetables were given for the work and those timetables were met. Further, the project came in right on budget. I feel like the folks at Omni Pools of Louisville aren't just the people who installed our pool. They have become friends and we know they are always there when we need them. Opened a pool, promptly put a hole in the liner, which in turn resulted in a a multi-month delay and much more, price wise. As you can see from his response to Martha, he will refuse to take responsibility. He'll hang up on you, lie and say he'll come back (and never show). Anything to kick the bucket down the road. He'll definitely cash your check immediately though.

Once we were in agreement we had to wait for the funding to clear to start. We did have to battle scheduling with historic rainfalls and flooding but he kept in good communication the whole way. We got a clear dry day and he and his crew went to work. A few short hours later and they were done. He even gave me some recommendations for some climbing vines for a nearby pergola. I asked him about predators eating the fish previously and he sent me a recommendation for that as well. I could not be happier with the work and we are so happy to have a working pond again.

He uses the fact that he's a Christian of God which is bologna cause he screws customers out of their money. He was always late and unprepared and had every excuse in the world not to show up when he did because of family problems. We had to advance him more money after the deposit to start work so his 3 helpers could get gloves to wear and we felt bad for them and fed them lunch and supplied drinks all day. When I was fed up and wanted to cancel the agreement for the job then he showed up, cause he a bullshitter who makes empty promises and said he didn't have the money from the job to return to us. I'm posting a photo of the liner that stays on top of the water permanently because it wasn't smooth out, it's so unprofessional because none of them know what their doing and Tim is too fat to help We paid for an aerator for our pond which we never received because the one he tried to give us was broken. And was promised $500 in fish which we never received either. But he was fast in saying the job was finished and collected from my husband which paid cause Barry is a good man of his word even after I said not to pay him till I was satisfied.
