I asked Tim to come give me an estimate on redoing our small backyard pond and he came over immediately. Asked what we wanted. Made some recommendations. Once we were in agreement we had to wait for the funding to clear to start. We did have to battle scheduling with historic rainfalls and flooding but he kept in good communication the whole way. We got a clear dry day and he and his crew went to work. A few short hours later and they were done. He even gave me some recommendations for some climbing vines for a nearby pergola. I asked him about predators eating the fish previously and he sent me a recommendation for that as well. Project that he said would take 3-5 days. Promised start date but it was another almost 3 weeks until project actually started. 3 days in and very little work done, we told them not to come back. Wish I would have done my homework before instead of after as have since learned the company is in bad standing with the state, complaints on BBB, yelp, and google. DO NOT USE!!! THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE!!!! They came to clean my pond yesterday and today all of my fish are dead. Owner doesn't accept responsibility (see photos) THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM! Complete disregard for the fish well being in handling them, rushed the entire time, I had to tell them to be careful with the fish and left before the pond was filled. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! In response to the owners comment. He was hired to do the job. At no point did I say I could handle it. ESPECIALLY after you quoted me one price and it was almost double the next day which i paid! Quite possibly the worst company I have ever hired. I've had pretty much the same experience as many of the other negative reviewers here. Tim's idea of cleaning a pond is draining all the water into your yard, along with all the pond gunk, and leaving a huge, foul, muddy mess in your front yard. Dead tadpoles and fish littered my yard, they just suck them up in the wet/dry vac and spit them out into the yard. His "crew" consists of young high school kids from his church group. There are no professionals (or adults) doing the work. I'm CONVINCED the 5 star reviews are fake or Tim has a twin brother who also works at the company and does excellent work. We hired Two Fish to clean our backyard pond. After a little difficulty scheduling, Tim's team did a very thorough job cleaning our pond. Our annual cleaning was delayed (likely too long) due to the fact that our service man we used for years was no longer available. Tim's onsite team were prompt and efficient. BUYER BEWARE - I am posting this review to warn other potential families from getting scammed by this company. I normally never write any reviews but this one has bothered me for several months now and I simply cannot get past it. Do not use this company for your pond repair - the owner knows EXACTLY what he owes me for services not provided. Basically, took our money and left us with unfinished product and a quote in writing indicating several items were to be replaced, that were not. We have given him several months to make it right. I could pursue this in small claims court, but I want to enjoy my pond without getting mad every time I look at it. We never want him to be on our property ever again. I should have looked better at the reviews before using Two Fish Inc. - take my advice and do NOT use Tim or his company. read more

The next day after they cleaned my pond, 2 of my Koi's were dead. They blamed it on their supplier. Tim promised to replace our fish. That was many weeks ago. He also said he was going to come over and fix the waterfall they messed up. The reviews on the BBB are awful. If you value your fish, you better get another company. read more

A word of caution about Two Fish. I contracted with them for a stream-styled water feature using rounded boulder style stone to complement my existing pond. I was very specific regarding the design providing pictures and spending over an hour discussing it. I paid them a deposit and when the crew showed up, they had no idea about what I wanted and instead partially built a stacked waterfall feature using flat rock and rock that appeared to come from a construction site. To make matters worse, they didn't have enough rock and took rocks from my own backyard to "finish" the job. The results were a pile of rocks with water shooting out of it. The liner shows through in gaps and is, in total, an embarrassment. They brought lights but didn't have extension cords to hook them up and suggested we go buy one and finish it up. We had to provide an extension cord to even get the pump working. I was charged a premium for the feature and the materials they used were bargain basement quality. I immediately contacted the owner who came by and agreed it was clearly not acceptable and assured me he'd "make it right". More delays and suddenly another pile of flat rocks showed up and at this point, I had lost confidence in their ability to deliver my vision of the water feature. I said to pull the feature, remove the new rock, and give me my money back. We heard from them once and they're now unresponsive to our calls/texts. read more

I had Two Fish add on to my existing water feature with another smaller fall. We had issues from the start blaming the old pond. When I contacted Tim this summer requesting he take another look. He did!! He not only honored his guarantee, but came through like a champ. He adjusted the rock tying in both ponds much better. Both falls are so natural looking, and with little water loss(normal).
