I've had some great experiences and some average experiences with these guys, but Jose, their operations manager, is what earns them four stars. He's polite and professional and seems to really care about earning your business. There's seems to be a gap though, between the excellent signal Jose that sends from the office and the cleaning teams in the field. I've had my house cleaned twice recently and both times they've missed stuff. Just small details, but it's quite obvious they're rushing through the job. I'm not sure if they get paid by the house or if they overbook or what. To their credit though, all of my (few) complaints have been resolved with satisfaction. It's not a glamorous job, and NCA definitely puts in the effort. They're not the worst in the industry. You should give them a try. read more

Nice ladies, but just not worth the money. They arrived unexpectedly. We never got a confirmation from mission control on the time. We weren't ready for them to clean the kitchen and bathrooms (our priority), so all they could do was clean some other EMPTY rooms. Later, I had to go back and get rid of cob webs. What were they doing for two hours? Oh, wait, they did have a visitor, who wasn't part of the work crew. Not professional. I felt like I wasted almost $200. Never again. read more

NCA, Never Clean Again stands for I will NEVER let them clean my place again. Not only did they steal a Penn State floor mat and candle of mine, the cleaning job they did was half assed as well. They didn't get things truly clean, and didn't even vacuum when there were two people for 2 hours in an 800 sq ft apartment! When I contacted customer service I never heard anything back after 3 online messages and 3 phone messages. When I finally did get something, they didn't even apologize, and said they didn't have anything in their lost and found matching my items. Why the hell do they have a Lost and Found!? I've been using Never Clean Again for a little over a year now to clean our home on occassion. They are trust worthy, professional, timely and friendly. They do a great job cleaning and anytime I've had a missed spot, they've been quick to resolve the issue and come back to clean to my satisfaction. Never Use Never Clean Again. I put up their horrible customer service for two years before finally pulling the plug. The women who did the cleaning were nice enough and mostly did a decent job (hardly a ringing endorsement) but the management and customer service were just awful! During the time I used this service, nothing was ever missing and my pets were never harmed. Once I paid for a cleaning that was not performed...many times they were unable to follow simple access instructions to my building. And it is very difficult to get anyone on the phone. I am a fan of NCA. I've been using them for over a year and I have had really good service for what I consider a fair price. I like that I can count on them - every other Tuesday like clockwork. They come while we're at work/school so it's always nice to come home to a nice clean house. The bathrooms and kitchen are always spotless when they're done. Maybe the dusting isn't always spot on but it sure beats what we could do on our own! I appreciate the little touches in my daughter's bedroom. The cleaning crew always arranges her dolls and stuffed animals so nicely. And, they make our beds which is so nice! I would recommend them to anyone who can't keep up with the housework on your own. We've been using Never Clean Again for several years now. And in that time...I've never cleaned again. When we first engaged the company's services, there were some spots missed here and there. However, Jack, the owner, presented many opportunities for us via email, phone and reply form to provide performance feedback, which we gladly did. As a result, our crew knows what we expect and regularly perform to hit those expectations. We also have an idea of what to expect from them in regard to what is and is not included in our cleanings. For $125 (twice a month), we get a crew of 2 (sometimes 3) maids who spend 2+ hours cleaning our 1,500SF home as well as my 250SF office in the backyard. They are quick, thorough and professional, as well as friendly. Our regular crew never misses a beat (though if we reschedule and get a different crew, sometimes things are missed, but nothing major). When the crew leaves, it's very nice to step into our freshly cleaned home. I'm self-employed and work a lot. So my free time means a lot to me and the last thing I want to do is clean the house (I'm lookin' at YOU bathroom). Though times have been tight, NCA have been worth it and would be one of the last "luxuries" I'd give up. read more

I really like NCA - I asked them to clean a granny cottage from top to bottom, make sure there were no insects, webs or eggs in the rafters, etc. They moved all the boxes out of the cottage into the patio, cleaned thoroughly, including the rafters, and then moved the boxes back in, PLUS moved a piece of furniture from the main house to the cottage. They were absolutely thorough, punctual, efficient and friendly, and I will definitely use them again. read more

I used NCA twice and they are not great. The first time they did a pretty decent job so we called again when we were moving out. They had called and sent so many coupons I was happy to finally use them. Unfortunetly they forgot an entire bathroom and had to return the next day, and they charged us again for their mistake. Another problem was the price. They charged us almost $300 and would not honor the coupon they sent to us because the owner of the house had called to change the time of the appointment- doesn't make any sense. read more

I will post the e-mail I sent Jose (quality manager) that explains why I decided to fire this cleaning service after using them for 8 months. I will also post Jose's response, and I need to qualify that with "I didn't find out right away that I had things missing from my house, and no one who comes into my house steals perfume and sneakers." Also, as a qualifier, I did not file a police report, nor did I find the missing shoes and perfume. I am a professional who is busy, and I barely have time to interview a different cleaning service. However, I can make sure they are hurt where they care, in their pocketbooks: I beg of you, if you care about your home and you have valuable things in your home, and you know you will not be there when they clean, DO NOT HIRE THEM! You will soon find yourself in my position, and I have no clue what other things could be missing, as I don't inventory things when the cleaning crew leaves. As an FYI, I paid $134/every two weeks, for a clean home. "As you know, we have been clients of NCA for over 8 months now, and we have been happy with your services. I have been missing a few things lately, and I did not say anything thinking I misplaced them, but right now I feel like I have to say something, and as a consequence renounce your services. I am missing a pair of PUMA, unworn sneakers that I paid over $100 for. I am also missing a perfume, Prada, half used, but nevertheless, it's missing. I have looked for both everywhere, and I have not had any strangers come into my house except for your crew. I honestly suggest that you take a good look at who your employees are, because if they steal, this is not a sustainable business. This is unacceptable and as much as I was very happy having your company clean my home and coming home after a long week to a clean house, I will have to look elsewhere for cleaning services. I am very disappointed, to say the least. Thank you, please take me off your client list." His response, to be fair: "I have cancelled your services as per your request and have also spoken with the staff regarding these items. They have told me that they did not take these items and I honestly believe them. It would be difficult for one of the staff members to take a shoe box from a house unnoticed by the other staff and I don't believe other staff would risk their job to assist one is stealing such an item. We have been in business for almost 10 years (10 years this December) and have not had such a complaint by a customer. We are very strict in our hiring process and the ladies that clean your house have been with the company for more than 3 years without such a complaint. I am not even sure what advice to give you as this has not happened in our almost 10 years in business. If you feel that filing a police report would warrant a successful outcome, I have explained to my staff that they may need to answer some questions but I feel confident that our staff did not steal these items. I wish that this would have been reported as soon as you noticed the items missing but as you have said, time has passed and we have no way of knowing who has been in your home since you purchased these items. I am truly sorry to see you go and I am sick to think that you feel our staff took these items. If I felt that this was the case, I would terminate their employment with Never Clean Again because it jeopardizes our business and we cannot allow this. If you do file a police report, Never Clean Again would assist you in any way possible. If you end up finding these items or find that someone outside of Never Clean Again took or moved these items, we would welcome you back as a client." read more

I have been using NCA for over 10 years - I don't even remember when I started with them but it has been at least 12-13 years. Jack runs a great shop and my husband and I like coming home to a clean home on the days that we know they are going to be there. I have two indoor cats which I worried about at first but there is no problem on that end. Cleaners are pretty thorough, although on occasion they don't dust certain things, small things, etc.. They always mop the floors which I love and clean the bathrooms and kitchen good. I get different gals at times but that is expected I think in this business. When I have had to contact Jack or his staff about a problem, they have been quick to respond and try to rectify the situation. read more

Please do not use this awful service. They left the front door unlocked and then blame me that is how I left it!!! Because they showed up with out the key. They broke the shower rod and curtain left that on the sink. Did a very poor job cleaning. Had the gull to charge for it. I used them for 3 months and started out great. But quickly went awful. I am a busy business owner. I would of never called a customer a lair. Mistakes happen but own them and this company can not do that. Buyer truly beware!! read more

We've used NCA for a few years now. The reason we've hired a service is because we live in San Diego, It's dusty here, we have pets and now a toddler. There is always something going on with our baseboards, wood floors, cob webs, and just our basic interior architecture that will always need dusting and detailing. What we also have are tons of accessories, art, family photos and live plants. We "live" in every room of our home and it needs the detailing from a service which Never Clean Again always provides every other week. I am so happy we have them. As I try to keep up while they are not here, it's nice to know they come and provide a detailing that takes several hours. And they are really very nice, including their management. read more

They were prompt and cleaned,a little, that's it. I really wanted a very thorough, professional cleaning for the beginning of summer, but they really didn't do anything more than I do. The fridge was not wiped down as promised, I even took all the magnets and such down! The light fixtures on the vanity in the bathroom were not dusted, the tub was cleaned but the tile walls were not, I actually wiped them down after with a warm washcloth and that's all it took, so I know they were not even touched. The grout on the kitchen floor still had actual food on it, not stains! I think when they mopped they just kind of wet the floor. Many things obviously were not done or done inadequately. I have two young children and it's hard to find the time to really clean the house. They gave me the head start I needed to get the house really clean, but I still had to do most of it myself. Fabulous service! Especially for clean freaks like me! They go beyond to meet my requests such as using my own vacuum cleaner due to my kids' allergy issues. They even clean the sliding door where my dog would always leave nose prints. Whatever I request them to clean, they remember and do it the next service. I am 100 percent satisfied with their service. It's GREAT for a full-time working mom with two young active boys. UNPROFESSIONAL! The OWNER lied to my family about information he never gave me. All I was trying to do was get an initial cleaning at a rate they guaranteed. It was supposed to be $69. They wanted charge me $140! I told them I didn't want the service. So, I tried to call the OWNER and he charged me a $50 cancellation fee because I challenged him on the information he was passing to my family about phone conversations and quotes he says he gave to me but never happened. we had this company clean for us once when they were hired by our contractor to do a post-construction clean-up. they were great (though they did show up on the wrong day). then i called them to arrange another cleanup (pre-parental-visit)... to make a long and very frustrating story short: they screwed up the scheduling, i ended up wasting half my day trying to track them down, leaving repeated messages until finally, the owner, jack george, called me and said that he heard a different story and that he 'did not want to get in the middle of it.' i.e. long story short: they say that they are on-time, super-responsible, etc., but they not only screwed up but treated their customer like total crap. (and they have my credit-card #, so they might charge me for all this fun! since they charge for cancellations...) anyhow, save yourself the hassle and don't hire this crew. read more

We've been using NCA for several years now. Don't quite understand all the bad reviews except that they are older. Good service, reliable staff, good customer service. We've often had visits from the "quality control" person while their staff is here. Minor issues like vacuum cleaner cords making marks around corners on baseboards, but overall, very pleased with the service. I don't understand why most of the good reviews are "filtered". That's not fair unless there is a legitimate reason to doubt that they are "real" reviews. This is a "real" review. read more
