Arrived at this location. All was ready. Even ordered a few Aroz Con leches while paying for the order. The ambiance of the place was clean. Had lots of desserts as well as many other things on the menu. Overall, this place is great. Friendly service and very good food! I have got to say, some of the best Mexican sandwiches I have tasted come from El Gallo Giro! I can only speak on this location because this is the one I go to. Good quality sandwiches for sure! Only negative thing is the parking. Parking can be tight. If coming in from the drive through, it maybe difficult to leave and exit the area. I highly recommend this place for some carne asada and milenessa sandwiches!

I had the grande chicken taco, which I expected a taco with all the works, but this is just two tortillas, grilled chicken, cilantro, and onions. They give you one green and one red sauce. Overall, the chicken and the taco was incredible! However, they are marinating and cooking this chicken, makes this taco everything. Are very generous with the chicken, but they were also very generous with the onion and cilantro, a little too much. I would definitely order this again, but ask for the cilantro and onion on the side. The price was right, I think I paid under five dollars but I did expect a fully loaded taco with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc. I also think they could revamp their salsa, they lack flavor and thankfully, I took my taco home and was able to use homemade salsa.

Was out again in the Lakewood area and was looking for a dessert spot and found Cantina Sweets…read morelisted in Bellflower. It's located along Rosecras Ave, in a strip mall amongst other businesses. You can tell from the outside with the neon lights, with the blue, pink and purple painted walls. As many have mentioned the art on the left most wall which pretty much takes up the entire thing is this beautiful street art mural. Absolutely love the art. The men working behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful, also letting us know they were newly opened. So love being able to support a new local business in the area. I didn't look up the place entirely to see what they offered so was surprised when I saw the frozen yogurt machines (similar to Yogurland or other yogurt shops) lined up with various flavors. Everything was clean, and the machines led up to the counter to pay where the usual yogurt toppings are available for you. We did not plan to get yogurt for our visit but instead got the 15-piece mini pancakes and added ice cream to it. I believe you can get all the toppings on the pancakes but we only got strawberry syrup, strawberries & bananas, and cinnamon toast crunch. We were also able to sample some of the ice cream flavors some of which were unique. The strawberry cookies and cream and matcha (I forget if it was matcha strawberry). It took a little as it was made to order and there were other customers they had to attend to. The pancakes were good. The one thing I wished was that there were just a tad bit more toppings it felt more like a sprinkling of cinnamon toast crunch and a little more syrup, which we probably could have asked for so it's not this place's fault. The strawberry cookies and cream was delicious, nice strawberry flavor with flecks of cookies. The matcha in the other scoops was very subtle, it wasn't bad and could have been the mix of everything. I think what was really interesting was that the pancakes were a bit salty which balanced all the sweetness with the ice cream and other toppings. TLDR if you're in the Bellflower area, give this place a try. From frozen yogurt to crepes to mini pancakes this place has a variety of desserts to try!

One of the guys even offered and helped me carry everything to my trunk. On top of that, the meat was delicious AND affordable. Having the option for precut and premarinated meat was such a game changer for food prep. Our tacos got rave reviews. Will definitely be back for the taco Tuesday deals!! The store was also impeccably clean. FYI for 75 people (46 adults and 29 little kids), 38 lbs of meat and 350 tortillas were enough with some extra. The corn tortillas there were thick enough not to need double layering and didn't fall apart. For our carne asada tacos, we purchased carne picada since I learned it was the same as diezmillo, except pre-chopped. Even if the cut you're looking for doesn't come pre-marinated, they will marinate it for you if you ask! We ended up purchasing the La Carniceria Meat Market brand meat seasoning to use on the carne picada while grilling and it was superb. In the future I might also take them up on the offer to get the marinade on the side, and marinate it an hour before so it's not too mushy on the grill. 5 STARS for flavor, value, and service!!

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When I went to the cashier, the employee with the black hair completely ignored me and continued helping other customers who walked around me. I don't like being put in awkward situations, but I eventually had to speak up and let her know I was there to pick up an online order before she acknowledged me. After confirming my order, she asked one of the carniceros to retrieve it. He was the only employee who thanked me and made me feel welcomed. The cashier, on the other hand, rang me up with a noticeable attitude. I understand that busy times can be stressful, but I don't understand why I was met with such negativity when I approached with a positive attitude and simply followed the pickup instructions. To make matters worse, one of the black gloves the cashier had been using while handling the cheese somehow ended up inside my bag with my shrimp. That was very concerning from a food safety standpoint. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. A friendly acknowledgment and better attention to food handling would make a big difference in the customer experience.

All of the drinks came with little breadsticks which I thought was so good dipping into the cold foams! The Matcha Latte (Iced) with Cream Cheese Cold Foam was delicious! The Cream Cheese Cold Foam isn't super overpowering, but you can taste it in your drink, and it tastes great. I've never seen it offered at other cafes, but I liked it! The Strawberry Matcha Latte had strawberry puree and strawberry bits in it so you had to drink it with a boba straw. The drink was good! The Matcha Latte (Iced) with Regular Cold Foam tasted great as well. It almost tasted like a Matcha KitKat so it was pretty good. The cafe itself was empty when I came in, but the cafe quickly filled up with big groups. There's plenty of seating and tables, and all the seats are padded and comfortable. I could see this cafe being a fun study spot. There's also some board games and manga if you come with a big group. Parking is a bit chaotic because the parking lot is all bumpy, but parking isn't hard to find in the plaza. The employee was very kind and helpful. We didn't know there was coffee on the menu until he pointed us to where it was. He made the drinks very quickly, and he was very informative about the drinks. I would come here again! There's so many drinks on the menu that I would love to try, and I love trying out a new study spot!

Just so you know, there is no restroom available. We shared a few drinks, and my fav' was the strawberry matcha! The banana matcha was good too, but the strawberry one really stood out. The coconut matcha was a bit plain for my taste. The lemonade was very sour, but in a good way! All the croffles were tasty, or as my 9-year-old says, "bussin"! Briscoff croffle though! The staff was really friendly, which made our visit even better. My son was excited to get some free cards for his collection, including a Monkey D. Luffy card! That made his day special. It was such a fun moment! Def' coming back. This time with thy matcha queen connoisseur. Lol
