Anytime I ask my wife what she wants to eat, somehow Nevada Chicken Cafe is always on the list. When she's hooked, she's hooked, no switching it up. Gotta give credit where credit is due. I'll admit, I'm usually the one trying to suggest we try something new, spwe don't always agree there. But at the end of the day, I still enjoy eating here every time we go. The flavors are always consistent, and that's what keeps us coming back. You know exactly what you're getting, and it never disappoints. Great barbecue ribs! Their rotisserie chicken is excellent and their coleslaw is my favorite and however, they're half rack of barbecue ribs are very difficult to resist and whenever I think of lunch, my mind wanderers to that place. This review is about their takeout, I haven't been to the physical location yet, only driven by many times (and quite often wondered about it). We've ordered from here many times by now often with success, they never screw up the order and include condiments such as their BBQ sauce and a random white sauce (hehe). I like the half chicken with my mash taters (gravy inside) mac n cheese and baked beans. The chicken is never dry and very tasty, skin comes right off and I'm a skin guy so yum. The mash potatoes has a good amount of your gravy if that's your thing..it is mine. Will continue to order and maybe stop by one day when the baby starts behaving better in public. read more

Love Nevada Chicken Cafe! Must try is the ribs and chicken combo that comes with a side and tortilla. Order dine in to receive a salad with the order. All the sides are great and I usually get the mashed potatoes with gravy. Portions are plentiful and the staff is super friendly especially Jenny! Spacious seating with a patio dining area makes this a great place to dine during the spring and summer. Make sure to try their different sauces for the ribs including their original bbq, blueberry bbq and hot sauce. read more

First Time at Nevada Chicken Café I've driven past Nevada Chicken Café countless times but never really gave it a shot--mostly because I rarely see it advertised or talked about. Today, I finally stopped by (well, technically ordered through DoorDash) and gave it a try, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the wholesale mesquite chicken, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The chicken looked great--nicely grilled, with a beautiful golden finish. It came with two flour tortillas and two dipping sauces. The chicken itself was fully cooked, moist, and had a flavorful mesquite marinade that really stood out. It had that smoky, slightly charred edge that mesquite lovers will appreciate. As for the sauces, one tasted like a classic BBQ sauce (which was my favorite--sweet and smoky), while the other was tangy and creamy, though I couldn't quite place exactly what it was. Both complemented the chicken well. Overall, I was impressed. It's a solid spot if you're craving grilled chicken done right. I'll definitely be back, and next time I'm planning to try some of the sides they offer. I've driven by this local staple for years and finally made it in. I never read past Nevada Chicken Cafe on the sign, so I didn't realize they also had ribs. You walk up and order at the register and they bring the food to you when it's ready. I ordered the chicken leg and thigh with ribs combo. It comes with a drink and side, which I was recommended the mac and cheese. At the table they have 3 sauces, hot sauce, BBQ, and blueberry bbq sauce. It was a big plate which also came with a side salad. The chicken had great seasoning and had the smokiness. Ribs were good with similar flavor and not dry. I enjoyed all the sauces and the blueberry mixed with hot was my favorite. Great place to visit! read more

Excellent chicken, but disappointed with the sides and the additional 3.75% credit card processing fee. The seating area is small and nothing fancy with the feel of an old dive. I think the best bet here is ordering full a chicken(s) to go and making your own sides at home, you will still pay their credit card fee, but won't have to deal with their sides. read more

My kids and I love coming here for both lunch and dinner. I love that they have weekly specials that even include Saturday!! The ribs amd chicken soup are so very good. I eat here for lunch while at work at least once (often more times) a week. The food is consistently fresh and delicious and the staff is friendly and welcoming. My faves are the avocado wrap, 1/4 chicken meal with a side, or the chicken vegetable soup. And I looooooove the garlic ranch. Yum! read more

The chicken was good juicy, not dry, and not overly greasy. I was also a big fan of the biscuits. Everything tasted fresh and nothing was burnt. For what you'd expect from fried chicken, I'd say it was definitely above average. I brought my family with me and they seemed to enjoy it as well. Customer service stood out to me too, which I always appreciate. Our meal didn't come with utensils at first, but once we asked for utensils and condiments, the staff was more than happy to grab them for us. Overall it was a great experience. If we're in the area again, there's a good chance we'll stop by. Solid spot.

What made it worse was how it was handled. When I called the restaurant, I was told I would need to drive back if I wanted anything done about it. That makes no sense. Why should I have to go out of my way after receiving contaminated food? On top of that, I was told I would need to provide documentation just to get a refund. Basic hygiene should not be an issue, especially for a place that serves food at this volume. And when something like this does happen, customer service should step up, not make it harder for the customer. Other major chains know how to handle situations like this by making it right immediately and valuing the customer's time. Really disappointed. This was handled poorly from start to finish.

Upon walking in they were already several people eating and there were many employees in the kitchen. I placed my order at the kiosk at 0934AM but didn't receive my food until 0952AM, which was extremely disappointing as I had no idea it would take so long. What was extra frustrating was the fact that multiple people came in after me and placed orders and were served prior to I was, which I didn't understand - however I assumed perhaps they had placed online orders before me? Additionally, I was perplexed as multiple employees would come out from behind the counter and pose with customers in front of the advertisement displays taking photos - at a single given time there were three employees posing with customers which I found very strange. At a certain point it looked like a female employee was about to assemble my order because I saw a blue drink, however she walked away from the drink and tray to take another photo and then proceeded to take cashier orders at the counter. I approached the counter and the manager noticed me from the kitchen, he was dressed differently from the rest of the staff - I asked him what the turnaround time normally was because I had never been there and he sort of paused and said, "We weren't ready this morning, we needed fries", and I told him that was fine because I had never been there before so I was wondering what the normal turnaround time was so I could plan better (I was going to miss the morning showing of Mortal Kombat 2 due to the wait) but he didn't give me a time saying, "It can be ten minutes but it can be longer". He walked away after that and I sat down and continued to wait until eventually my order was ready and he flagged me over to the counter. Everyone was pleasant enough - however, they didn't seem very concerned with preparing the food, as they were more concerned with photos with customers... That being said, the food actually was quite tasty so I can't quite give it a one-star because I would have the food at another location. At the end of the day, there's a story to tell my Free Company! At least I can eat chicken in the game without having to wait for someone to care to prepare my food!
