I called several times to make sure that it was ready to be picked up and not once did anyone answer the phone. I started reading reviews and the #1 problem with them was not answering the phone. The reviews were from years up to the date I called. We went down to pick up my prescription and waited in line for a few minutes and when we got to the clerk I gave her my name and she looked at the computer for a while. She then asked are you from out of town and I said yes and explained that my doctor called in the prescription yesterday. She told me that they didn't have my medication and it would take up to two days to order it. I asked about other pharmacy's in the area and they said that the closest pharmacy was in Bishop. Now I have been 2 days without my prescription medicine. Needless to say we had to pack up and leave 2 days early to go back home to be able to get my prescription filled. Thank goodness for Kaiser because it was ready and waiting for me. I will never use that pharmacy again. They were really slow and they never answered the phones so you could never find out if your prescriptions were ready.

Locals drive up to an hour to get to this facility to be told "we're taking our break now". CVS used be a decent brand, and now regret moving my prescription service to them. I'll be moving my business to Costco Merced. It's only my sense of civility that prevents me from giving them the same FU they gave me.

Whether it's pet toys, over the counter medicine, home goods, or some new snacks I haven't tried yet. I find what I want or need majority of the time. Some items are difficult to keep in stock due to supply and demand or recalls, but the store has good people working there. Always willing to assist and make things as easy as possible to find. They have a large selection of candy, treats, and in my case OTC allergy meds. It's laid out similarly to every other CVS. It's clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. The location is convenient as it's in the center of town. But then again, with a town this small, everything is in the center.
