They prescribed me prednisone and 30 days later I was in Lone Pine, Ca to do some some photography (I live full time on the road as a professional landscape photographer). I was still having an extreme reaction to the poison oak so my doctor prescribed me gabapentin for the excruciating burning I was feeling below my skin. This medication is used to treat the nerves that are so enflamed. If you've ever had poison oak, you know it is like a non stop torture to your skin and your mind, trying to fight the urge to itch. Dwayne refused to fill my prescription saying "I don't feel comfortable giving this medication to an out of towner...They don't prescribe gabapentin for poison oak", he says to me. This is such false info, you can google and see it is very commonly prescribed for poison oak. I drove 60 miles one way because this was the nearest pharmacy and I can't stress the amount of pain my skin was in. I don't drink alcohol or use any recreational drugs(not even pot). I called my Dr to tell him this pharmacist won't fill my script. I can hear Dwayne talking rudely to him on the phone and making a scene so all the employees and customers were looking at me. I was not only in extreme pain from the poison oak but now feeling embarassed and singled out as if I'm some kind of junky becuase he "didn't know me". I presented the visual evidence of my poison oak all over my arms and hands. After waiting for an hour and all this back and forth (which was extremely embarassing) he agreed to give me 10 pills out of the 40 I was prescribed. Here we are weeks later and I only took I pill a day for 5 days so I have 5 of them left. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend staying away from this place if you're an "out of towner". What a horrible experience!!!

I was on vacation in Mammoth Lakes when I ran out of one of my prescriptions. I called my doctor…read moreand they called it in immediately. I called several times to make sure that it was ready to be picked up and not once did anyone answer the phone. I started reading reviews and the #1 problem with them was not answering the phone. The reviews were from years up to the date I called. We went down to pick up my prescription and waited in line for a few minutes and when we got to the clerk I gave her my name and she looked at the computer for a while. She then asked are you from out of town and I said yes and explained that my doctor called in the prescription yesterday. She told me that they didn't have my medication and it would take up to two days to order it. I asked about other pharmacy's in the area and they said that the closest pharmacy was in Bishop. Now I have been 2 days without my prescription medicine. Needless to say we had to pack up and leave 2 days early to go back home to be able to get my prescription filled. Thank goodness for Kaiser because it was ready and waiting for me. I will never use that pharmacy again. They were really slow and they never answered the phones so you could never find out if your prescriptions were ready.

I asked her I'd like to talk to the pharmacist and had a cream in my hand wanting to get his opinion on it. She went back and spoke with him, result he never came out and told her to tell me the cream won't work use vinegar!!!!!! She asked me to hold up my cards and asked me to put the cream back on the shelf myself. This lady's tag said student pharmacist, better get used to icky things, it's part of the med world. I felt so humiliated but had to go out today to get my meds. I took all the precautions for just her reaction!!!! I went for some advice from the pharmacist but got treated like I was carrying the plague!!! Not going back

They have a large selection of candy, treats, and in my case OTC allergy meds. It's laid out similarly to every other CVS. It's clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. The location is convenient as it's in the center of town. But then again, with a town this small, everything is in the center.
