The entire staff is friendly and they showed they really cared about me getting well. The Nurses and CNA's were fantastic and did everything to make me feel more comfortable in a place that is hard to feel comfortable. They really did well. As far as my Physical Therapy went, it was absolutely the best I've every been to. Unfortunately I had a severe gram mal seizure and that affects the way I can walk sometimes. Some day's I couldn't even walk at all, but with the two scheduled therapy sessions I had each day I progressed to standing up with the walker and was able to safely go use the restroom when I needed too. I had to ask the nurses at first so they could keep an eye out for a fall, but that never happened. Eventually I was able to stand and walk sturdy enough I no longer had to ask during the end of my stay. The Physical Therapy Staff and department deserve all 5 stars is how I rate them. I'm a bit of a grouch so when I say 5 stars I mean it and it's for real. The Dr's were friendly and of course knowledgeable too. The front host and administrator Victoria was always on top on things as Vicroria is the perfect person to greet visitors when entering. She makes a great first impression. Abe the G.M. was extremely nice and approachable. Most G.M's don't hardly even say hello to you or acknowledge your presence , but Abe took time out to speak with me and always had a positive smile on his face.. Great guy. Letecia the activities director was great too. Wonderful interaction with her patients and always tried to make a dull day at the nursing home/ short term rehab facility positive and a little more fun. CW has a great reputation for offering quality recommendations for children. They followed up and were concerned and thorough in ensuring we found an assessor who could help us. I have also met with them regarding their social skills group.The MGW curriculum is amazing and we are looking forward to working with the very talented and caring staff. As an added perk, they are located on a beautiful hillside in Oakland with serene views. The waiting area inside is comfortable with ample space for everyone to relax. We drive an hour to see them and it's totally worth it. Highly recommend this agency. What a treasure for our kids!

I also understand the reality of managing multiple therapies, medical appointments, school meetings, and life. Over time, repeated conversations about missed appointments, attendance reminders, and signing attendance acknowledgments left me feeling judged instead of supported. The final straw was accidentally leaving one week off a summer scheduling form, which led to another conversation about attendance. It wasn't about that one incident--it was the realization that this philosophy simply doesn't align with how I believe families of children with additional needs should be treated. The clinicians were wonderful, and the front desk staff were always professional and kind. My disappointment lies with leadership and the culture created by these policies. Families seeking pediatric therapy need partnership, empathy, and flexibility. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience, and we chose to take our children elsewhere.

We finally got a good match and they "switched departments". Then they started saying I had to move my time due to scheduling conflicts even though we had waited 2 years to get the time slot we had. We got moved with a new SLP and I complained that they kept canceling and rescheduling. I can only assume they were double booking so instead of taking accountability for their poor planning, they decided to discontinue services simply because i advocated for my daughter. They dont seem to care about the children, they just want their paycheck

Our district contracted with your organization, and at the time of enrollment, we and our district were not made aware of the strict two-year contract policy that restricts the RBT from continuing to work with the same student. Allow me to provide some context. My son is a 17-year-old nonverbal individual with severe autism. He is extremely shy and requires a significant amount of time to build trust with someone before they can enter his personal space. Unfortunately, during my recent meeting with Dale Young, it became evident that no exceptions could be made to extend the contract of the current RBT with whom my son has developed a strong bond and trust. He kept stating that he firmly believes that it's important that they are able to work with others we agree as well we are seasoned parents. He's 17. There is rotation happening already in the classroom everyday. I just wanted him to have the best last two years of high school as possible and not have to have a transition happened twice. So at the end of the day, your company and Dale Young do not taken to consideration of the individual human. By this decision by Dale Young and your policy is going to cause extreme regression and depression anxiety on my 17 year-old son. I left the meeting with feeling like I was talking to a AI. Along with her sunny disposition and positive outlook, Terri brought with her many years of expertise in her field. Although Daniel received speech therapy at various times in the past, Terri introduced us to some new techniques and recommendations to help with the speech volume issue, as well as swallowing issues that may possibly become problematic in the future.
