We started with the complimentary garlic bread, which was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten an entire loaf! For my main course, I ordered the center cut filet ($52). I requested it medium, but it came out more medium-well. While the flavor was good, the steak was a bit salty and dry. The loaded mashed potatoes, however, were delightful and offered a generous portion. My husband chose the romano crusted chicken pasta dish. We were both surprised that it lacked a sauce, instead it had a dry cheese mixture in the pasta. For dessert, we enjoyed the vanilla bean crème brûlée, which was very tasty! So why 4 stars? The beer cheese was thicker than normal but good. I did the French toast burger with fried okra. Daaayum, tasted like a fluffy McGriddle but much larger! I could barely finish it. GET THE LEE'S SAUCE FOR DIPPING! It's like the Zax sauce but with more tang and kick. We accompanied our meal with a pitcher of electric lemonade (a Statesboro staple, going back to the days of Wild Wings & Dick's Dawg House). Once our food was finished we watched it get set out under the heat lamp but it was not collected by our server until at least 10 minutes after it was set out. We expressed our concerns to the server and were met with disdain and attitude rather than empathy and an apology, the server quite literally had nothing to say when we expressed our displeasure. The food seems great but I doubt I will ever come back to sit down, I watched tables come after us and get served before we did.
