Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito
George S.

If you're near Will Rogers Beach and want a good breakfast burrito, check this place out! It's next to Rusti Coffee. We loved the Carne Asada breakfast burrito and it's a good size. They have different meat options like bacon, chorizo, and sausage also. They also serve Chilaquiles, Pancakes, French toast and also a Breakfast sandwich. They have Agua frescas too! The service is fast and they have seating on the street side and shared seating on the patio that they share with Rusti Coffee. Come grab a bite next time you're close! happy Nom Nom!

I love Neto's cafe for breakfast and lunch! Best breakfast and lunch burritos! They were located on West Channel at the Canyon square but now they are near the volleyball courts on Will Rogers beach. Better location! You can have breakfast or lunch and sit on the beach!

Amazing red chilaquiles and eggs. Very reasonable prices. Owned by a wonderful family. They're on the corner of Centinela Ave and Venice Blvd on Thursday & Friday mornings until 1pm.

This place is a HIDDEN gem! The sign outside just says "breakfast burritos" and I thought that sounds good at 2pm haha turns out they ran out of breakfast burritos. Which was fine :) I tried the carne asada burrito and it was delicious!!! The meat was well flavored, the burrito was lightly toasted and the sauces are AMAZING!! I got the green and red sauce to try. Wow!! Home made style. Kinda on the pricy end but eh you're in Santa Monica boarder line Malibu. $14 burrito. The only thing I would say is the burrito is a tad skinny. If you're starving to death, you might need two.

Veggie breakfast bowl serves over greens! So I can keep walking a few more miles, it's a good amount t of deliciousness!

My Saturday and Sunday stop on my morning walks! Mostly just for an iced tea and a quick hello with the lovely family that owns it! But when I'm hungry to Veggie Breakfast Bowl can't be beat! It's the best part of my morning walk

Food Truck offers a delicious Chorizo Burrito, but it's on the pricey side at $16. The small seating area outside an art gallery adds a unique touch to the dining experience.

The breakfast burrito was on fire! They also have veggie options, pancakes and French toast. Such a gem of a place with a relaxing ambiance. Ps, coffee truck adjacent. Sooo good!

Every Saturday and Sunday this lovely family turns out amazing food. My favorite is the fresh mahi mahi fish taco, my partner loves the veggie bowl, and everyone raves about the Cassina burrito. It's delicious food made and served with kindness.

Today I had their fish taco--with no exaggeration the best I have ever had. Fresh fish. Terrific.

I would say this is one of my favorite breakfast options in Santa Monica and in West LA in general…read more They have some really unique menu items and the inside has a really great atmosphere along with great service. We were lucky enough to find a metered street spot directly in front of the restaurant and did not have to wait long at all for our Saturday morning brunch for a table of two. Our server was also very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. I started off with the Iced Maple Latte and thought it was really nice. It was a really sweet treat and I enjoyed it. For my breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with the Sujuk sausage and added avocado and croissant. It was one of the best combos I've had in a long time and I am already eager to go back again to get it. I would highly recommend to everyone and would happily say this is one of my favorite breakfast options around.

We agreed to outside patio seating at tall seats which is more than fine. but we were sat at a shared table with a family which is fine when you have context that you are doing so, but i spent the beginning of the morning listening to two different children play of their phones blasting the sound. additionally both the seats we were in were directly in the sun which for me is fine but my bf burns very easily. but okay fine, it is what it is. We politely waited until the table next to us emptied, and then told the waitress we would like to move because the sun. She said we would need to wait and she would need to check. And then came back and told us they were too busy. We watched the seat we wanted to sit in be empty until we asked for boxes for our food. We watched another table stay empty until we left. The waitress never introduced herself either. Additionally, no one checked up on us during the entire meal. Usually any sit down restaurant would ask how your meal is. No one did. we weren't even given silverware when our meals arrived. we had to go get them ourselves. We had to ask for boxes after sitting and waiting for anyone to check in. We separately had to call out to the oblivious waitress to even pay, as she was standing out there just looking around. The food was great, like i wish we would have had cash to tip the cooks themselves bc the food was really good. But Ive attached photos of the food (great!) and photos of the many empty tables that made them sooo busy they cldnt accommodate the paying costumers that already ordered. my boyfriend and I have both worked in the service industry before. But i would just say that they had horrible service which can ruin a perfectly good meal. I hope if the owner is the one I met at the door, he considers getting new waitresses .

The ambiance is bright, buzzing, and packed with folks clearly in the know. We grabbed a spot after waiting for roughly 15-20 minutes outside (no complaints for a 9:30am on a Saturday). Pro tip: jump on OpenTable and book ahead! The real reason you come here.. the food absolutely delivered! Fresh, vibrant, and delicious across the board. The cappuccino was also genuinely excellent. Service was quick and efficient throughout the restaurant. My wife did need to send back a poached egg that was slightly overdone. Our server handled it without missing a beat though, replacing it promptly with a smile. This is the kind of breakfast spot that makes a Saturday morning feel special. 100% coming back!

This drink is creamy, flavorful, and strong and I ordered 3 over a two day period. Be aware - this is not a regular old latte. It is neither hot nor iced. It is perfect creamy sesame delicousness. And yes the bacon is also incredible. It's thick and not too sweet and delicious and two come in an order which, for me, was more than enough.

I used to go to the location on Montana back in the day, and this is my first time visiting their downtown SM location! Food, as I remember, was very delicious with great variety and care put in for each dish! The waiter was also extremely accommodating of my many allergies and would often ask the kitchen if the items I ordered were free from my allergens or modified it too! I do miss their cafe menu with the sandwiches and soup specials, but all of their food is just as great quality as I remember! The renovation is beautiful too, very trendy!

TLDR: Price to Quality, there are better options in Santa Monica…read more I ordered the Korean fried chicken bites, chorizo Benedict, and some coffee Coffee was okay but not great. A little on the watery side. Chicken bites came out in about 15 minutes. The coating had a very satisfying crunch, very saucy, but fell off the chicken easily and was a bit salty. This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Super light on the pico de gallo. The service was rather slow for not being very busy. They didn't appear to be understaffed either. The location itself is cozy and not too loud, which is nice! Short walk from down town. The staff was kind, but boy were they slow. From being seated to paying for my meal was well over an hour! Automatic 2.5% "service fee" total was $46.50 before tip. I don't think I'll be returning unfortunately. The search for a good Benedict in LA area continues!
