The best house-made tomato soup (with a kick) I've ever had. And the fresh lime margarita.

Great service, staff, food and very professional. Love the GM Gilby! I have been coming here for 12 years and never disappoints. A little taste of Cabo 5

First of all the name does not necessarily reflect all the cuisine that is available. There are a number of gourmet Spanish and Mexican food choices here. We ordered the Spanish tortilla and the fish tacos. They were both delicious! The seating is comfortable and the place charming. The service was friendly and fairly prompt. My only complaint was the portions were a bit small for the price point, as the fish were small pieces covered in a lot of shredded lettuce so it looked like more than it really was..other than that critique we had a good experience.

This is such a cute spot with great service. The place has easy parking in the back. It has very charming outdoor seating. I enjoyed their breakfast burrito!

The shop was pretty much empty as we strolled in at 1pm. The vibe was perfect, chill interior with nice art decorating the outside sheltered area I got a Greek egg with spinach and yoghurt. I didn't expect much but this was SO GOOD. Eggs were perfect over easy, and the yoghurt added a nice tang to the mouthful. Bread was sublime, soft inside but nice and toasted outside, butter spread well and the remaining oil, yoghurt and egg from the main dish provided the perfect dip Service was friendly, though I think this is quite pricey for what it is, keeping it from a 5 star from me. Definitely worth popping by

Croissant and vanilla latte

Update: Originally my review was 5 stars but I soon realized afterwards that my decaf coffee was not decaf. I am very sensitive to caffeine. I asked if they had decaf and they said yes but it doesn't seem that way. Based on other reviews it's not the first time this mistake has been made. If you're like me definitely double check before drinking! Original review: I've been wanting to check out this beachside coffee shop for quite a while since I always pass by on bike rides. The staff greeted me and were super friendly. I came 30 min before closing but they were still cooking up meals and since I had my bike with me I opted for a croissant and coffee to-go. The croissant was warmed up for me and very buttery and flaky!! The coffee was the perfect amount of sweetness - I ordered a decaf vanilla latte. Their patio is super nice if you want to dine in. It is covered and has a cute design. Prices are higher than expected but probably because of the high rent for the area!! I have nothing bad to say! It was a great experience and I'd love to come back to have a hot meal!!

Bruschetta Poached Eggs

Ricardo was an amazing waiter! He gave great recommendations and service. They have lattes, coffees, and any type of breakfast food you could want. I got the bruschetta poached egg with prosciutto and it was Devine.

This place was all outside seating and it was cold today. The fresh squeeze orange juice and fresh made berries jam were very good and went well with my breakfast. They were starting to get busy so we got there early enough to get out the way as people started coming in droves. The gentleman serving was super nice and eloquently described all the dishes we asked about.

My husband and my sister in law stumbled upon this place in Santa Monica and we were so impressed with their coffee and their pastries! The employees were really nice too and very accommodating! I can't wait to come back and try their breakfast burritos! The place is so cute! Its very lowkey and they have dining options as well :)

Sneaky good breakfast spot... wait... not good. Great. Huevos rancheros (add chorizo) is your go-to. Quiet. Sleepy. Good service. A winner in so many ways

Great friendly service. Ambiance is cute. Excited to try more of their menu the next time I'm here.

Great little outdoor spot in Santa Monica (w parking in the back!) came for Sunday brunch and service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious--had the egg white burrito w red and green sauce. Will definitely be back.

Huevos Rancheros
A T.

I had excellent huevos rancheros on one visit and a delicious Mexican omelette with egg whites on a subsequent visit. My meals were perfect both times. I definitely recommend their Mexican dishes. I am giving five stars because of the food. The price of my meals, however, was high in my opinion, but that is true of so many establishments in Santa Monica. Nearly all of the seating is outside, but in a nicely secluded hideaway from the street. Overhead heaters helped out nicely on the two cool mornings I was there. The name of the restaurant is Cora's Coffee Shoppe. But, don't let the Coffee Shoppe fool you. The two meals I had could easily be served in a fancy restaurant. And, the atmosphere with white table cloth and roses on the tables in a nice hideaway from the street added to the charm and great breakfasts I had.

The gorgeous turquoise mugs certainly make the coffee more appealing than it actually is. While our drinks were good, they weren't great. The cappucinos, lattes, chai and matchas were prepared well, but the quality of the ingredients didn't quite hit the mark. The gelatos particularly were not good and next time I would suggest ordering their drinks over the gelatos. The French toast donut we ordered was fresh, fluffy and perhaps the best of all our orders. Five stars for service. On a very busy holiday Monday, only two staff members were managing a long line of customers near the end of what I could only assume to be a very long and busy day. Despite appearing overwhelmed, they remained patient, professional and attentive..... and didn't make a single mistake with our orders. Their effort truly stood out and elevated the experience.

You never know what might be going on in front of this bar/cafe. We watched a guy and girl do a skate board photo shoot doing some crazy tricks. Super friendly. You do not wait for a table you seat yourself. Someone will come with a two sided menu. Now on to the food. The food is decent. Not over the top. Pricing is about $10-$20 depending what you order. We got the salad without feta cheese with ranch, which was ok. The clam chowder that I've seen raved about I was disappointed as it did not come in a bread bowl. But it wasn't bad. Fries were the perfect mixture of crispy and soft. The magi mahi sandwich was good. I bet they got a lot of dine and dashers previously because they take your credit card up front. So don't be surprised when they ask you for it.

The inside was very clean, cute, and spacious. There is also an outside patio. No shortage of sitting options. We ended up ordering the super bowls- VIP Poke and Kebobs Mediterraneo. Both with white rice and greens. I honestly loved both of them equally. The quality of fish in the poke was outstanding and the chicken kebob was so tender and juicy. We also got the Pineapple Zingy Fizzy drink which was very refreshing on the warm day. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The only thing I want to add is that on the menu board had a key for items, one being a * indicates the item contain nuts. Some of the bowls listed cashew chipotle sauce, but there was no * next to the item name. It's a quick fix to avoid any accidents :)

My wife was craving Thai food, so she ordered the Thai dish, while I was stuck between the Peruvian Saltado and the Showtime Burger. I ended up going with the burger, and I'm glad I did. It was absolutely amazing -- flavorful, high quality, and perfectly put together. From the first bite, you could taste all the layers of flavor in what honestly felt like a masterpiece of a burger. Both dishes were very good, but the burger was definitely the winner for us. We also tried the Garage beer, which was super light and delightful, along with a latte. The latte was okay. We're big coffee people, so it didn't quite meet our expectations. It was served too hot, and the milk seemed overheated. The coffee itself tasted good, but it didn't feel carefully crafted. I enjoy latte art and that first sip from a freshly made uncapped latte, and that part was missing for me. That said, the food was so good that we're more than willing to overlook the coffee. Great vibes, superb service, and an overall fantastic experience. Highly, highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back with friends and family.

It was a lil' thicker than your typical mango lassi, but the faint sweetness did a great job at masking the earthiness of the kava. It was bomb and I would have loved to order 2 but I hadn't eaten so that was not the move lol The space has their own parking lot, as well as easy street parking.
