Today is the appointment. My wife had rearranged her day to accommodate. A message comes that the tech is on the way. They call my number instead of hers when the tech arrives, but I'm a physician working in an operating room so I don't see the call and don't answer. The tech never comes to the door or calls my wife's number but instead leaves and sends a message that begins "since you are not at home." The next appointment is not for another 2 days. So there's a decent chance that mediacom is at fault for the disruption of service and then, after my wife rearranging her day to accommodate the appointment, the call and wrong number and don't even have the courtesy to knock on the door before leaving and saying she wasn't home. Such abject disregard for their customers.

Now I am being forced to be penalized for their technicians incompetence of doing the job correctly the first time? My 400$ a month internet package is paying for what exactly? If you want to pay loads of money to a company who does not truly value your money, avoid this place. Thanks for showing me just how much you guys run your business. My claim for the \$200 gift card was unfairly denied with the excuse that my purchase was "not within the time limit." This is simply not true, Verizon's own records show that I did indeed accept their offer within the time frame of the promotion. The rep I spoke with was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. She scheduled set up for the earliest possible time (2 days) but sent an email to the tech department to see if they could come sooner.
