I am writing to share the amazing experience I had during my recent visit to your University Village location. From the moment I walked through the doors, the customer service was exceptional. I was immediately greeted and offered a coffee with my choice of oat or regular milk. I worked with a wonderful associate named Lucy, who provided excellent suggestions for both accessories and coffee. She was incredibly helpful in assisting me with selecting some very special items for my husband. Thank you for the wonderful service. I will definitely be back again soon. read more

I am here to buy coffee or wait in line for someone to offer me the chance to buy. When people say premier coffee experience I am not sure what they are getting at. You enter the store and greeted by one of their friendly employees and they take your name. Then you wait for 10-15 with other frustrated customers while the young lady at the counter flirted with the guy at the register. Once we got our chance to buy the overpriced coffee, the employee didn't know how to run the machine and kept apologizing. I felt bad for her, but I just wanted to buy coffee for my wife's machine. If they were going for some premium experience they missed the mark. All I saw was frustrated folks trying to get out of the store fast. I recommend if you want to check it out walk in, if there's a crowd order from Amazon in your car. read more

Had a wonderful experience at Nespresso in University Village! We happened to visit on a Saturday when they were hosting a pop-up experience serving $2 coffees, which was a fun surprise. They also offered free coffee tastings and had plenty of comfortable seating, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. The shop itself is very cute and thoughtfully designed with a nice atmosphere that encourages you to stay awhile. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and overall it felt like a great shopping experience rather than just a quick stop to buy coffee. read more

I went in to browse and ended up having an amazing time. I was killing time until an appointment, considering a birthday gift for my dad. I ended up watching a coffee demo by Jordan. He was really funny and engaging and the coffee was excellent. Sadly, the unit being demoed was out of my price range. Jordan walked me through all the available options. I picked a unit for my dad, and one for myself. Jordan also helped me pick out some flavors to start with based on my flavor preferences. An unexpectedly fun experience from a random stop. read more

Such a cool, unique store! They've got delicious free samples of various kinds of roasts, flavors. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and give you great info about some of the fun facts about coffee, beans, reasons behind tastes. Beautiful store, and comfortable seating. They even have an extensive menu if you wanted to buy some delicious lattes. My hat pup and I enjoyed a lot. Oliver got lots of scratches from the friendly staff there. 10/10, check out this place!! read more

Melissa prepared for me the Yuzu Vanilla. She knew to offer it over ice -- it's part of their summer collection: the pour was incredibly refreshing and clean. The usually strong citrus was balanced out by a little vanilla. Wow. $10.50 a sleeve for the original. She aid a coworker recommended it with honey. Duly noted. read more

Kathy G was a G! We don't have an espresso store near us, and so we stopped in to get stocked up on our pods. They were all very knowledgeable about the different types of coffee, the notes, and the configurations of each machine. As new Nespresso machine owners, they were able to lead us through all of the different coffee pods and we ended up leaving with a GREAT deal for 7 packs of 10 pods! Highly recommend getting pods in store for a personalized and exceptional experience. read more

Scam. Remember their $3 coffees? Gone. They're selling them for $7 a pop now. Why would I ever go there now?

Lucky find - less than $6 for two lattes (& alt milk)! The coffee here is actually fantastic, and for a great price. The barista was very friendly, and there is even seating inside the boutique. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be back! read more

Really bad service from the guy in the grey shirt working the coffee window on June 18th at around 1pm. He seemed to be possibly training a new guy but it was just ridiculous. Bad coffee too, thank goodness it was only 2 dollars. read more

I always use the walk up window to order and get my drink fairly quickly. The coffee is solid for $2, you really can't complain with a quick cheap coffee. read more

Only speaking to the cafe portion of this store since I didn't buy pods or a machine, but I will come back! $2.50 for a 20oz oat milk peppermint mocha was such a good deal compared to other coffee shops. Service was quick and friendly and there's a window you can order from if you don't want to go inside the store if it's too busy. There's a long bench and I think a few small tables you can stay and enjoy your coffee at. read more

Ari was a very helpful and accommodating specialist in the U Village store. She was very patient with all of our questions and answered honestly about pros and cons on various machines, helping to steer us to the model that would best fit our needs. We really appreciated the thoughtful and honest responses, which are sometimes difficult to get. With her guidance and suggestions we were able to buy a whole system and get the subscription service, which helped reduce the cost of the total package. We went back a couple of days later, for a private training session with Jordan, who was also very accommodating, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. His training helped us appreciate many of the features of the Virtuo Up and milk frother that we bought. We would definitely recommend training even if you think you know how to use the machine or how to make coffee. It was also very helpful to find out about maintenance to keep the machine running in good condition for a longer period of time. I would definitely recommend trying to go to a boutique rather than buying online for the personal experience and help that you can get. The U Village store is also very convenient. read more

The Nespresso store at University Village delivers a premium shopping experience that perfectly complements the brand's reputation for quality and innovation. From the moment you walk in, the clean, modern design of the boutique sets the tone for a refined and welcoming atmosphere. You do have to ask for assistance. The staff here are knowledgeable and attentive, ready to assist with product recommendations, explain the latest machine features, or guide you through their extensive coffee selection. Perhaps they could engage a bit more to help you find the perfect capsule or machine for your needs. There is always a crowd for their complimentary tasting station, where you can sample different coffee blends and seasonal flavors. It's a great way to explore the range of Nespresso options and discover your favorites. We tried a couple of espresso's: One Hot - Gingerbread and the Blue Bottle espresso on ice. It was fine but not the best. There is limited seating space though the layout of the store is more about cycling as many customers at any time. You can browse both machines and coffee capsules but kind of feel hurried through the store because there is no crowd control. Whether you're a longtime Nespresso fan or new to the brand, this boutique is a must-visit during the off-peak hours for the best experience. read more

The To-Go window was slow, only one employee. He was super sweet and patient as a small line formed inside and outside. We ordered a vanilla caramel latte and also tried their "recipe of the month", White chocolate strawberry. The vanilla caramel latte is definitely the way to go as the strawberry one was mixed with the nuttier coffee and an odd pairing for us. 2.50 for a latte is like unheard of in this city, so refreshing. Walk up the hill to the quad at UW and sip your coffee! read more

The store is beautiful but what made our experience worth 5 stars were two employees named Kathy and Tom. They were knowledgeable, on point w their customer service and just fun to interact with. Most importantly they help to educate me on a new machine my husband recently purchased and I feel confident I am using my machine to its full potential. The coffee Kathy K made my daughter was fantastic and a great selling tactic for a future purchase. You guys made a simple drop in memorable. Thx. read more

Workers were super nice, and the coffee is cheap, but this company doesn't allow tips for the baristas. I think this is entirely unethical and completely unheard of for a coffee joint, and after learning this, Nespresso has lost my business. Entirely disappointing. read more

Nespresso is an awesome addition to the U-Village. I checked out the boutique on Saturday. I had fun exploring the store, mingling with the associates and sampling the different coffee pods on their machines. I found their Almond Croissant coffee Vertuo pod to be delicious. While I was caffeined out by the time I saw their station, I do want to come back and try either the pistachio almond latte or honey cinnamon latte. read more

A beautifully designed store with a café, seating, and an engaging "Touch and Play" area for making coffee. My only qualm is that when it is crowded, there isn't really a quick way to buy pods. My friend and I were in a rush, and I hoped to simply grab some pod sleeves and check out. Instead, I was placed on a "wait list," as there only seemed to be two representatives assisting customers and processing transactions. read more

Such a happy place!! As a caffeine addict and a massive Nespresso lover: who drinks it a few times a day, this was all that abs a few bag of chips! Only other nespresso cafe I've been to was in Rome and few other European airports. They have their own latte bars that offer Togo lattes for reasonable prices. As well as sample machines to try out many virtuosos!! Yummmm. Best 30 minutes spent here: sample, tasted, bought a ton AND got a latte! Happy place!! read more

Had the best service today from Tom, was so nice and helpful. The coffee was so good!!!

Went there on a Saturday evening, not busy at all. The gentleman on the floor was very nice and helpful. I'm a long time Nespresso customer and usually either buy my pods on Nespresso's app or go to Macy's in Bellevue. This was my first time buying pods at the Uvillage location. In comparison to Macy's the customer service was sub par. The person at checkout was not personable and almost rude. I asked for a recycle bag and explained which one I needed and she essentially gave me a look of "I already know". Then I had to ask for the standard 2 pod coffee sample which she looked annoyed by. All of these things are always offered at the Macy's whose customer service is top notch and they create a good experience. The Uvillage store is "trendy" but they lack in customer service, which I expect from the brand Nespresso. Their coffee is also high priced. The staff at Uvillage could use some pointers from the staff at their Bellevue location. read more

This was my first visit to Nespresso store in University Village Seattle. I usually buy my capsules in Bellevue, but decided to stop by in Seattle store after visiting some friends. I was looking for new coffee to try and decided to try a new capsule I've never seen before. A gentleman came over and offered help. His name was Tom. I wanted iced coffee, but he said No, no ice. OK can you get it from the coffee bar? He said, No, can't. Ok can I have some milk? No, no milk. OK, well can you add some hot water then? He turned around ready to leave and then turn around and said No, I'm not gonna give you hot water either, you just too demanding, and I was told that you were here the other day and was rude. I said, excuse me? I've never been to the store before. So not only he acted unprofessionally he was also dishonest, making stories about customers. Very disappointed in the personnel at the store. Although I don't think they're all like that, at least I hope not. I don't think I will be back. Bellevue employees are a lot nicer. I hope that managers at the Seattle store read this review. A fancy Nespresso store in University Village--such a treat! We visited right around closing time, but the staff was kind enough to accommodate us. I tried one of their festive coffee testers, and it was absolutely delicious. The location, service, and ambiance are all top-notch. I was craving hot chocolate, and even though they were technically closed, they went out of their way to make one for us--so sweet! I'm thrilled that we finally have a Nespresso store with drinks available here in Seattle. Can't wait to visit again! read more

Stopped to get a wonderful latte. My husband said his was as good as our up the street coffee shop (Overcast). Lovely barista, very friendly and efficient. My sister-in-law drinks nothing but Nespresso and it is delicious when we visit her. Not as crowded as the Evil Green Empire which is the only other choice at U Village, but nice calm atmosphere, great coffee! read more

This place is like a parody from The Onion of a pretentious store trying to sell an "experience" instead of a product. The product here is quite good for a pre-packaged coffee. It makes sense to give out samples, but they need to tone it down and make it easier for customers who just want to buy new pods of their favorites and recycle the old ones. They should have a designated counter for that. read more

I had a feeling before going in that I might get tailed or ignored for being dressed super casually, but went in anyway.... Coffee bar was super great, bought a latte, and then tried to catch someone's eye to literally give them more of my money. I said hi to an employee (standing still, unoccupied) who reluctantly said hello before running away, and came back with other clients and told me in the most customer-service-polite way to kick rocks because he needed the place I was standing and the menu I was looking at for other "clients". I felt super weird and ran away. I'm open to the idea I'm the one who did something wrong here, but at no point did any of the like, 10 floor employees ask me any questions or explain how their weird ass coffee store works. I don't blame the guy for trying to do his job, these guys clearly have commission to make, but this isn't a Birkin storefront. Lesson learned, dress like you have a trust fund, or buy your coffee online!! read more

Rude staff. I went in ready to buy several sleeves of Nespresso. I picked up a sleeve and walked to checkout. I was surprised to learn that despite there not being an apparent line, I overheard that I was supposed to be on a waitlist to checkout. When I approached one of the girls holding an iPad, I asked kindly if I was supposed to be on a waitlist to checkout or if I could just go to an apparently open register, not knowing the process, she rudely said, that there was a 25 minute wait and that they can't just let people go up to the register because they want people to linger in the store and they are creating an experience where they can talk to people - I can tell you that had I not approached her directly, I do not believe she would have come up to me as I had already been in the store for about 5 minutes. Do better Nespresso, not everyone understands how your store flow works, err on the side of kindness. Instead, the college aged girl said I should come during the week when it was less busy, and when I said I work during the week she shrugged and walked away. Do better. read more

Tried to talk with someone in store. Called the number listed. It goes directly to customer service. I spoke with customer service and asked for the number of the store.cI couldn't hear her and said her headset was bad. I asked if she could speak up and she wouldn't answer. I asked for the phone number for this store and I was told it wasn't available. I asked to be connected. She said she couldn't. I asked if the store had an actual phone. She told me, "I can't tell you yes and I can't tell you no." I asked if she was AI because it was such a ridiculous conversation. She repeated the same script "Is there someone I can help you with?" I said yes, please help me speak to someone in the store. She said she couldn't help me with that. I finally gave up. If you want to talk with someone in the store without actually going to the store, good luck with that. read more
