My advice: try the vanilla coffee - it's fantastic!
If you have a nespresso machine at home, you'll know the problem: you always forget to pick up more supplies until you've eventually run out of coffee!!
The fact that you can only buy the capsules at the nespresso stores or order them online - they aren't available anywhere else - intensifies this problem, as I for one always forget to go to the store until I am in urgent need of more coffee...
The coffee itself: pretty decent stuff, but not comparable to the coffee you get from a commercial espresso machine... obviously! But for those of us who cannot afford those huge, massively expensive machines at home, this is a great alternative!
The coffee (well, espresso) comes in various different tastes, differing in intensity, origin and additional "spices". There is usually always a limited edition on offer, at the moment that package contains hazelnut, chocolate mint, and apple crumble coffee. (Yup, the last one tastes as disgusting as it sounds...)
The stores themselves are very classy, the entire experience matches the company image, representing a sort of luxury coffee. The fact that it's therefore also rather expensive goes without saying...
You can always try out some coffee here as well, for free of course! So if you want to know how apple crumble coffee tastes (don't do it!!) - make sure you try it out first at the in-house coffee bar! (I forgot to do so, hence the 9 capsules lying around at home)
Bottom line:
* Very good coffee for at home, but you need the matching machines
* Don't be fooled, this coffee is a luxury good!
* There's a coffee bar in the store, go and try some new flavours here!
* Limited editions and exotic flavours...
* ...but seriously stay away from apple crumble....! read more
