Rhinoplasty Review Issues…read more I am horrified by my overall experience and result. During my consultation, I explained that my main concern was that the tip of my nose appeared too large and round. The consultation felt rushed, but I moved forward with surgery trusting Dr Tyrone's expertise. After my rhinoplasty, I called the office twice while my cast (which was just tape) was on because it felt extremely loose. I offered to come in to have it checked, but the nurse reassured me it was fine. When the cast was removed, it was barely attached to my face, and the nurse even commented that it was the easiest cast she had ever removed. As swelling went down over the next few months, it became clear something was wrong. The tip of my nose remained very large and pointed/crooked and one nostril began collapsing, my nose ran constantly, and I developed a noticeable lump on the outer nostril that did not resolve. When I raised concerns, I was often met with brief responses such as "that's odd" or told it would go away. A steroid injection was done to try to shrink the tip but that wasn't helpful. I noticed that the nasal bones at the top of my nose were protruding outward, causing VERY visible divots along the bridge and a very flat and bumpy appearance across the bridge. The bones that protrude outward are causing an inverted V shape on my nose. The tip of my nose is also noticeably crooked and my nostril look completely uneven. All of these irregularities are very noticeable, painful and very obvious. Instead of addressing the structural and cosmetic issues, Dr. Tyrone suggested placing filler in my nose for $400 to camouflage the mistakes. I obviously declined. I sought out two separate second opinions from other surgeons. Both confirmed that I was left with an open roof deformity and an inverted V deformity due to over-resection of bone. These are structural complications that are noticeable and painful and unfortunately, I may not be left with enough cartilage to fix my nose unless a surgeon harvests cartilage from elsewhere. Dr. Tyrone offered a revision surgery ONLY after I mentioned that I knew I had serious issues going on. He seemed annoyed. Unfortunately, for a revision, he quoted me nearly half of the original rhinoplasty cost, with no assurance of correction. I was told he could "try" to rasp down the sharp edges, but there was little confidence expressed. He said my nasal bones are comparable to a greenstick fracture. He said there's a lot of risk in revision and he wasn't very encouraging as he doesn't offer revisions. Due to financial limitations, I was essentially dismissed. I asked the woman working at the front desk if I needed to be seen again, as I was being seen every 2 months for a check up. I was told I would be seen again if I proceeded with revision surgery. I saved for years for this procedure. I am now left with pain, visible deformities on the center of my face, and no resolution at this time. I wish I had done more research before proceeding. Personally, I would be ashamed keeping someone's money and this be the outcome. Not only that, but if I went through with a revision surgery, I would be paying nearly half the cost of my original surgery. Please take your time, do multiple consultations with different surgeons and make sure you feel fully heard before moving forward with any surgery. My advice, please don't go here.

"Dr Brill allowed his aesthetician CHRIS SIMMONS to do 5 RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING treatments on…read moreme and she melted all of my facial fat!! I have huge dents around my mouth that will never go away. No midface to speak of and no volume whatsoever in my lower face. I have orange peel skin, thousands upon thousands of holes that have been branded into my face starting from my forhead hairline all the way down to my jawline. I DID NOT have that awful texture before. I also did not have huge dents and lumpy looking skin where there is nothing but scar tissue underneath my epidermis. My dermis was severely damaged by this woman CHRIS SIMMONS (verified by the dermatologist) and Dr. Brill allowed it. I have scarring EVERYWHERE, stamp marks in my skin where some areas are raised and are square to rectangular ALL OVER MY FACE thanks to CHRIS SIMMONS. Do NOT LET THIS WOMAN TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH ANYTHING. I have absolutely no temples left and the melting of fat even went up the sides of my forehead, actually reshaping my forehead to be much narrower which is horrifying. That will NEVER COME BACK and it's been 3 years!! She also burned my forehead and neck with a TCA peel, and the scarring is now white, so a true chemical burn. When I voiced my concern he said he had spoken to her and that "she went too deep" with the peel!! WOW This woman CHRIS SIMMONS is in the business of destroying faces and lives. Then after I told Dr. Brill I had seen a dermatologist for a second opinion on what was happening with my skin (which was literally getting worse and worse every day) and I told him what the dermatologist said which was that at my age when the skin is thin I should NOT HAVE BEEN allowed to have 5 RFMN he started yelling and shortly after he discharged me from his care!! Abandoning me after having been a loyal patient for 16 yrs. Now my entire face is just SKIN and BONE. DO NOT LET CHRIS SIMMONS TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH ANY TREATMENTS. SHE WILL RUIN YOU IN ORDER TO PUT MONEY IN HER POCKET! His office is closed now so I don't know where the next place CHRIS SIMMONS will be destroying faces and lives. This has been a living nightmare for almost 3 years!! I have been suicidal for the past 3 yrs. You should see her FB page, always trying to make a buck, she's very aggressive and manipulative. VERY arrogant! If I could leave negative stars I sure would. They ruined my life."

Scheduled for surgery, total time for the consult was probably less than 5 minutes. His staff more than makes up for his hastiness. Robin particularly was very pleasant and courteous. She and the other staff were very warm and accommodating. They put me under general and I was out in no time, which was good for me since I usually get nervous with these things. (They did a GREAT job with the IV). When I came out I was very surprised that I was in very little pain. The procedure went much better than I could have anticipated. I was back to eating in 1.5 days and off pain meds in the same amount of time. I highly recommend following the post op instructions very carefully. Graper institute comes highly recommended for wisdom teeth extractions. Shout out to my ride.

Two major complaints about this dental office though: 1) My appointment time was 8:45am. I was in the waiting room for OVER THREE HOURS. 2) Robin was seriously unprofessional and was incredibly standoffish. First, she never sent my scripts over to my pharmacy which was an issue since I was supposed to start the oral rinse and antibiotic three days prior to surgery. (Wondering if maybe my oral bacteria count would be lower now if this wasn't the case or my recovery would be easier???) Then, when I went in for my follow up, I was being prodded at with equipment and apparently spit a little water up during the water pic part and Robin literally said "disgusting". She then proceeded to tell me how difficult I was under the anesthesia and how I kept moving around. First of all, it's not like I was consciously trying to inconvenience anyone... I was asleep. Second, I didn't ask so these impertinent comments made absolutely no difference towards my recovery instructions which was the reason for my appointment. This really hurt my feelings since I had expressed how nervous I was about anesthesia and was proud of myself for being fairly normal after. Bf said I just kept thanking everyone after. These comments have made me very reluctant to come back for the sake of being judged in a medical setting. Horrible bed side manners.
