Rhinoplasty Review Issues…read more I am horrified by my overall experience and result. During my consultation, I explained that my main concern was that the tip of my nose appeared too large and round. The consultation felt rushed, but I moved forward with surgery trusting Dr Tyrone's expertise. After my rhinoplasty, I called the office twice while my cast (which was just tape) was on because it felt extremely loose. I offered to come in to have it checked, but the nurse reassured me it was fine. When the cast was removed, it was barely attached to my face, and the nurse even commented that it was the easiest cast she had ever removed. As swelling went down over the next few months, it became clear something was wrong. The tip of my nose remained very large and pointed/crooked and one nostril began collapsing, my nose ran constantly, and I developed a noticeable lump on the outer nostril that did not resolve. When I raised concerns, I was often met with brief responses such as "that's odd" or told it would go away. A steroid injection was done to try to shrink the tip but that wasn't helpful. I noticed that the nasal bones at the top of my nose were protruding outward, causing VERY visible divots along the bridge and a very flat and bumpy appearance across the bridge. The bones that protrude outward are causing an inverted V shape on my nose. The tip of my nose is also noticeably crooked and my nostril look completely uneven. All of these irregularities are very noticeable, painful and very obvious. Instead of addressing the structural and cosmetic issues, Dr. Tyrone suggested placing filler in my nose for $400 to camouflage the mistakes. I obviously declined. I sought out two separate second opinions from other surgeons. Both confirmed that I was left with an open roof deformity and an inverted V deformity due to over-resection of bone. These are structural complications that are noticeable and painful and unfortunately, I may not be left with enough cartilage to fix my nose unless a surgeon harvests cartilage from elsewhere. Dr. Tyrone offered a revision surgery ONLY after I mentioned that I knew I had serious issues going on. He seemed annoyed. Unfortunately, for a revision, he quoted me nearly half of the original rhinoplasty cost, with no assurance of correction. I was told he could "try" to rasp down the sharp edges, but there was little confidence expressed. He said my nasal bones are comparable to a greenstick fracture. He said there's a lot of risk in revision and he wasn't very encouraging as he doesn't offer revisions. Due to financial limitations, I was essentially dismissed. I asked the woman working at the front desk if I needed to be seen again, as I was being seen every 2 months for a check up. I was told I would be seen again if I proceeded with revision surgery. I saved for years for this procedure. I am now left with pain, visible deformities on the center of my face, and no resolution at this time. I wish I had done more research before proceeding. Personally, I would be ashamed keeping someone's money and this be the outcome. Not only that, but if I went through with a revision surgery, I would be paying nearly half the cost of my original surgery. Please take your time, do multiple consultations with different surgeons and make sure you feel fully heard before moving forward with any surgery. My advice, please don't go here.

Pure Aesthetics is the best hidden gem of Gainesville. I spent the last decade moving around and…read moretraveling throughout the nation and have had aesthetic treatments at so many med spas and salons that I have lost count. Pure Aesthetics is hands down one of the highest quality experiences you will ever receive. From the moment you walk in the door, there are multiple receptionists who began greeting me by name on only my second visit. The atmosphere immediately calms you when you walk into the lobby, you will feel like you are about to have a massage! They always offer water, champagne, or a collagen drink (even if you are running late to your appointment, like I have unfortunately done more than once!) I can only speak to the services of Kelsey (electrolysis) and Lindsey (Coolsculpting Elite) from personal experience, but I am fully confident in saying that my experience every single appointment over the past few months is indicative of the entire staff. I cannot exclaim my praise for either of these women loudly enough. No matter what area of the body you would like to learn more about treatment for, everyone at Pure Aesthetics has an in-depth knowledge of the services offered and will never pressure you into booking a treatment or purchasing a product whatsoever. I was especially impressed to learn that all staff members that offer treatments must work the front desk for a period of time to learn how the office (and schedule) operates and to interact with the clients. I think this is the greatest idea from a Human Resources perspective (which I happen to have my Bachelor's degree in ) and ensures that any information given over the phone is well-informed, and not simply a reiteration of the menu of services offered which you can read for yourself online. If you are seeking a treatment of an area but are not quite sure if you'd like to go the surgical route, the building is shared with Gaines Plastic Surgery. I cannot personally attest to Dr. Gaines, as I have not had any surgeries at this location, but this is truly an incredible partnership that allows clients to pursue all their aesthetic or cosmetic procedures in one place, with staff they are already comfortable with greeting them and offering a plethora of experience, knowledge, and services along the way. Lastly, I feel it would be remiss not to mention the personal touch and genuine care that the staff has for each and every client. A few months ago, I had a personal emergency which left me without my cell phone, and I ended up "no-call, no-show-ing" two appointments in a row. Instead of blocking me from scheduling further appointments, both Kelsey and Lindsey showed immediate, unwavering care and concern and welcomed me back to my appointments as soon as I was able to make contact again. Of course, I hope such an incident never happens to anyone else, but many Med Spas that I know of would enforce a strict cancellation policy with no questions asked, but not here. When I come here, I know that I'm not only trusting my body with experts and professionals at their specialties, but trusting my overall wellbeing to a team that genuinely wants to see everyone look, feel, and achieve their best. I recommend anyone who is even considering a treatment at Pure Aesthetics to visit the website and at a minimum, get on the email list, as there is a new special each month, and the treatment you're eyeing might be next on the list for a discount! Special or not, my experiences here have been worth every penny!

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND!!!…read more Rosenberg performed a breast implant removal... en bloc and lift.- Jan 2021 My truth is: *** I was never contacted by him or anyone from his office to see how I was doing after surgery. ***The bottoms of the breasts looked horrible. One had an indent and both looked square. I had to find another surgeon to revise them. I would not trust Rosenberg to do a revision. ***The areolas look jagged and are too large ***They were not helpful with providing information to submit an insurance claim (submitting it on your own...not through them) ***He knows how to be a salesman and uses the line that he will treat you like his favorite Sister. ***When I went back to him and showed him the bottoms of the breasts, he wouldn't admit that they looked bad, he just said. "You're not crazy." His awful way of acknowledging without admitting. PS) I have been in contact with several women who also had their implants removed and are not happy with their results by him. They were obviously busy behind the double doors because every hour a PCA would come to the waiting room and take vitals. After about 4 hours in the waiting room they called me back and asked me not to be mad but they lost mine and other patients' bloodwork. After a total of 9 hours I was called back and told they only have 1 of 3 CT scans working and had a CT scan performed. After 10 hours I was told I would need to be admitted and have surgery because my CT results were concerning. Waiting for surgeons to come by to talk bit no one, then a few hours later I was told "Oh, sorry, we re-reviewed your CT results and they are not concerning, the Radiologist re-read the CT scan and changed the diagnosis. So we finally got out of there. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the doctor was super. the processes I had to go thru to get seen is why I am rating as a 2. The staff was loudly laughing and joking the whole t8me I was there, no sense of self awareness. Nothing to do but lay down and sleep. I kept asking when the doctor would see me to evaluate me, and they said they thought he already had. They forgot about me. It made me realize that not even people who went to medical school care enough to be professional with their patients. When my mom visited me, the woman by my bedside (who worked there) said she doesn't recommend patients coming to Shands. This place made me wish my attempt had worked. Absolutely awful and heartbreaking experience. Do better. If I could give zero, I would.
