The apartment complex is clean, modern, with working A/C as well as Wi-Fi. There is access to a communal kitchen which makes it convenient to store your food or even cook if you are so inclined. The cleaning staff does a great job cleaning the rooms and are incredibly kind and honest, they didn't touch any of our personal belongings that were laying around the room- even paper scraps/receipts. The rooms were quiet, though you may hear some guests coming in and out but overall a super quiet and comfortable area. The bathroom may not have all the usual toiletries but does provide liquid soap. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I slept on during my 2 weeks traveling through Italy! Downstairs there is enough seating to lounge on sofas, an outdoor patio as well as vending machines for some quick hot coffee, snacks or water. The staff is super considerate and quick to provide service. One of the nights, we had arrived around midnight from Paris, France and was unable to enter the room (we didn't have a key and the receptionist had gone home for the night) but one of the staff came to the apartment in 5 minutes! Definitely, would recommend this place if you're looking for something comfortable and quiet to come back to after touring around Rome.

At first we were worried because we didn't know what to expect but saw very good reviews on Expedia. We were very pleasantly surprised! It's in a more rural area near the Vatican, but it is a very gorgeous oasis to the populated city of Rome. The staff here were very nice and super helpful! Upon arrival the receptionist(?) Jiada was amazing in supplying information and suggesting places to visit in Rome as well as giving us information about the metro and bus stations very close by. Without her, we would have been lost! As for the apartments, the complex is very beautiful and has a small fountain in the center of the structure with turtles inside (adorable!). The rooms are very nice and clean-with great necessities not offered by hotel rooms. The room we had included a fridge, stove, oven, TV, bathroom, shower, as well as the accessibility to laundry machines. To say the least, this was perfect for our stay in Rome. Recommend to everyone and, upon returning to Rome, will absolutely stay here again!

The two bedrooms, one of which is a book-lined study, are at the opposite ends of the apartment, ensuring complete privacy. For the historic center location (which is really where you want to be as a visitor in Rome) it's very calm and quiet. Most importantly, unlike most rentals in the area, it truly feels like home - which it is - with an extensive, multilingual library and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything you need for housekeeping or cooking, including a small farmers' market, is within a 5-to-10-minute walking distance, and some of the best meals out that we had in Rome were also right in the neighborhood. My mother and I stayed for two weeks, and she felt so comfortable that she confessed to missing the apartment after we left! Emanuele, who manages the property for the owner, could not have been a more gracious, helpful and reliable host, accessible at all times and ready to help out with whatever was needed. We can't recommend Ivy House highly enough and would be more than happy to stay there again!

The rooms are very spacious and feel very modern with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms. This is probably one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed at in Europe including Rome, Venice, London and Barcelona. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly and present 24 hours a day. There is a fully stocked mini bar which is completely free every day, including orange juice, sodas, beer and four bottles of water And yogurt. There's also free Breakfast cereal, Jam , toast, cookies and sometimes potato chips and fruit oranges. This is an amazing deal. Of course, there is a free coffee machine in every room with coffee, free hot tea. I think they could charge a lot more money for what you get and I'm sure when this becomes more popular they probably will change the prices but right now this is one of my favorite places to stay in all of Europe. There's also a complementary breakfast which includes croissants, bread, and a selection of cured meats. I forgot to add the beds are very comfortable and include a softer pillow and a harder pillow depending on what you like. The bathrooms are very clean and modern with a rain shower included. Highly recommended, five stars!

The only negative is…read morethat the apartment has a very musty smell.We stayed in the apartment for 6-nights in February to celebrate my birthday. Prior to our visit Silvio answered all our emails promptly and provided a great fact sheet with a map along with advice on restaurants and locations of shops and supermarkets etc. He arranged for a transfer from the airport which saved time catching trains and finding taxis at the Terminus station. The apartment is exactly as advertised. In addition it is very well equipped with lots of towels, plenty of hot water and a great kitchen where we ate in on a few nights. There is also WiFi and cable internet which was great as I always carry my laptop to keep in touch. The main plus is the location as nearly all sites are within walking distance. The Metro is only 12 minutes away, yet because the apartment faces onto a courtyard, it is so quiet at night. On our arrival we were met by Giorgio who showed us around. Silvio also gave us his mobile number to keep in touch should we have any queries during our stay. We have traveled a lot and stayed in many apartments but there are not many that we find where we really felt as if it weres home There was even a bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine to help us settle in. Despite this being our 4rth visit to Rome, we still have many places left to see so we will definitely be back and hopefully will get to stay at Via Crezcenzio 19 again. A couple of restaurants to recommend - 'Maccheroni' near Piazza Navona and our favourite - Ragno d'Oro in Via Silla (off of Via Cola di Renzo), a family run place with no menu, an owner who speaks English and exceptional food at very good prices (we were the only non-Italians amongst many local customers)the apartment was incredibly nice ahd we shoudl really use it again no problem y use your service in the future I would hesitate to use this apartment.

Casa Il Rosario is managed by The Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Roman Catholic Church. The door is locked from midnight to 6am, so one needs to be back by midnight. I reserved a room a year in advance, and requested a room with an air conditioner facing the inner courtyard. They remembered my request, and assigned us exactly what we had asked for, which was room 301. Wi-Fi connection was weak, even when I went into the hallway. Very clean, large, and comfortable room with two adjoining twin beds, and a tile floor. The staff (including nuns) providing service were very kind and considerate. Breakfast was simple and good; one sister even came to check on us at breakfast to see if we were satisfied, and encouraged us to eat more. LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT in the Monti neighborhood. A short walk to the Coliseum, Roman Forum, lots of small good Roman restaurants, and bus stops (including for going to Vatican City). Easily within walking distance are the Roma Termini train station, the Metro, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. There is a serene in-house chapel.
