I really fell in love with this nail salon during my first visit. The space is clean for the most…read morepart, and I initially had a great experience. However, there are some sanitation practices that need improvement--specifically, certain tools like nail bits should be 100% disposable or properly single-use, and that was not consistently followed. During my most recent visit for a manicure, I had a very disappointing experience. I am someone who struggles with nail biting, and I had been very disciplined in allowing my nails and surrounding skin to fully heal over the past few months. Unfortunately, the nail technician excessively cut the skin around my nails--areas that should not be trimmed. As a licensed cosmetologist, I am aware of proper nail care practices and understand what should and should not be removed. I did communicate multiple times during the service that the cutting was too aggressive, but the issue continued. By the end of the appointment, it became clear just how much skin had been removed. I am now dealing with painful sensitivity and multiple hangnails on most of my fingers as a direct result. It's frustrating to have undone months of progress in one appointment. On top of that, my nail polish is already chipping on one of my nails, and the entire polish layer is lifting and will likely come off completely, which is disappointing so soon after the service. While I truly wanted to continue coming here, this experience has made me reconsider returning.

The chairs are very nice and clean, I appreciate that a lot Prices are very good too and super worth it with how much effort they put to give you the best service they can I will be coming more often here

I'm honestly so upset writing this, but people should know what to expect here…read more I've been coming to this nail shop for a while and usually see Katelyn, who I absolutely love. Unfortunately, she wasn't available today, so I was assigned to someone else. I went in with a very simple plan: remove my current gel builder set and get a basic manicure with cuticle cleanup. I was very clear that I'm coming back in two weeks (for my baby shower, which I mentioned multiple times) to get a fresh gel builder set with Katelyn. Today, I was completely fine leaving with bare, natural nails. During the service, the nail tech asked if I wanted a clear coat. I said sure. Then she mentioned she would apply a thin layer of gel builder "just to keep my nails strong" until I come back. The way it was presented sounded like a small courtesy, not an added service--so at no point did I think I was agreeing to an extra $50 charge. I get to the register and my total is $70. $20 for a manicure... and $50 for gel builder. I was completely blindsided. If I had known I was being charged for gel builder, why would I agree to a THIN, clear layer with no color? That makes zero sense, especially when I specifically said I'd be coming back for a full set in two weeks. I felt genuinely misled. When I questioned it, I was told it was because the tech applied gel builder. I explained that I had clearly asked for just a manicure before being seated, and no one mentioned any additional costs at any point. They apologized and took off $20 plus 15%, but I still ended up paying $50 for something I didn't ask for and didn't want. At that point, I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated that I just paid and left. But honestly, the damage was done. This completely ruined my trust. Why would I come back in two weeks (or ever) when I've basically already paid for a service I didn't even want? I'm really disappointed because I loved coming here and it's so close to home, but the lack of transparency and communication today was unacceptable. Please be very careful and ask about every single charge before agreeing to anything here. Better yet, just don't come here at all.
