A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. This company took my fiancés brand new suit 3 days before our wedding and…read morecompletely damaged it. We had it tailored and wanted to make sure it was perfect for our special day. They came to pick it up and also dropped it off. When we received it back, we called them to complain about the condition the suit was in. The jacket no longer matched the pants and there were horrible stains everywhere. They had the audacity to say they received it that way. If that was the case, why wasn't it mentioned at pick up? No accountability was taken or empathy shown and they were barely apologetic. They came to get the suit but returned it back again just as bad. The suit was unwearable and with 2 short days left till our wedding, we had to go on a hunt to find a new one. BEWARE. They don't seem to care about customer service at all and I will be filing a BBB complaint as well.

Months later I can lift more than five pounds. I'm still using Riverside. The price is right -- comparable, I think, to drop off service. It is also excellent service. I will never EVER come back here. I usually do not take time to write a negative review but this…read moreplace completely butchered multiple expensive pieces of clothing of mine with absolutely no resolve. I've been coming here for 6+ years as a Hoboken local and always had exceptional service, and even when not, there was no question and they made sure to resolve it. I went back in November thinking it was the same ownership that it always was, but it seems that it is not anymore. The new owner (I am assuming) was not only rude and dismissive to what I was asking for from the beginning, but very threatening when I was simply trying to ask for them to fix my pieces. Even after paying for one of the items to be redone (hemmed jeans), they were still horribly done/Frankensteined together - I can't even explain it lol. I just went to look at one of the linen shorts I got hemmed and they are not even evenly cut??...they are also not hemmed and noticeably just used a "stem a seam". Absolutely ridiculous - this is one review I just couldn't let go and warn people DO NOT GO HERE.

The owner, herself, is kind enough to drop the clean clothes at my house on her way home from work. This batch included a dress for work that was falling apart and I was planning to re-stitch the hem on (when I had the time). In addition to cleaning, the dress came back re-hemmed and in work-ready shape. I am immensely grateful that they care that my clothes are not only clean, but also in great shape.

Have you ever met the nicest lady in the world? No? Well, she owns this place…read more I challenge you to find a more amazing dry cleaner. As far as these places go, if they don't have giant machines in the back, it's a safe bet they are outsourcing their cleaning. They are all over Hoboken and all have varyingly boring names. So it's really the service the counts - and that is what keeps me coming back to PC. Sure, I don't live particularly close (by Hoboken standards) and I drive by 6 or 7 other dry cleaners on the way here, but she is well worth the drive & double park. She remembers my name, and gets unnaturally (but awesomely) excited when I come in. I'm not allowed to carry my dry cleaning to my car (I've tried) and she always yells at me for not bringing my girlfriend (her favorite person ever) with me if I come to pick everything up at one time. She takes note of any stains beforehand and marks them, and makes sure everything is clean when it comes back - if it isn't, you won't see it, because she sends it back. She has even offered to deliver our dry cleaning to us if we can't get out of work in time to pick it up. Service! Your dry cleaner may know your name, but I bet he or she doesn't know your name AND flip out when you walk in like you are the 1,000,000th customer. So... Go here. Get really good dry cleaning. The washer I used had a screen that didn't light up with numbers like the rest did and I almost thought it was out of order but it still worked. Some of the dryers had damaged display screens which were unsightly tbh. The beverage vending machine had reasonably priced drinks in it like 1$ water bottles but I didn't buy any since I wasn't thirsty at the moment but it's nice to know they're cheap. Also cool how it takes debit cards as well as cash. Staff is helpful and nice. Overall it's a good laundromat that I recommend trying.
