Adam was not only responsive and responsible, he was so friendly and generous with his time and expertise. That is as rare as they come in in the zone of contracting. Most of all, the work his team did is superb. They took my dark parquet floors with 40 years of built up wax and polish to a fresh and sexy natural blonde vision to behold. They miraculously got out every deep scratch and scar in the old finish in areas where the floor looked hopeless. I kid you not, all the other contractors in the building marveled at his work because they knew what this floor looked like before it was sanded. The sandless work was immaculate. I came here the night they finished sanding and did not see any dust of any kind. We had almost no time at all and Adam made it work in 2 days before we moved in, including drying of the protective coating. The pricing was extremely fair and I am so grateful for everything he did in a stressful situation.

I learned later, with other craftsmen, that with correct tools and consideration of my desired outcome, it was not necessary to butcher my floors on their edges. This flooring company tore my floor up. I did try to go cheap so I went with them. I did not know that when we negotiated price, I negotiated away the sealant ti protect floors and allowance to butcher my floors. I was told back/forth 2/3 coats on floor. With/without sealant? Angel said 2 coats sealant. Soon dirt is well in the grains of wood. I know because I can see where a rectifying area was made with the sealant compared to everything that sticks with floor. I have question is it the @Bona #Bona product. My first rodeo. Fixing will cost me an entire 675 sq new floor. It aches my heart. I don't have that kind of money and I wanted a nice outcome. If I had been informed more, I would have work harder to have paid more instead to spend so much more now fix in a few years after I save to do it. Why are workers not honest?!!!! Please inform the consumer the cost of cutting price. I have regrets that will cost me now to redo and seal my floors, and more, if I want to resume my useable sq ftg because you ate it away to close the gaps you butchered. Better late than never my review is long overdue for L.I.Paneling on Jericho Tpke New Hyde Park…read more Dec. 2017 I was scouting for flooring for my entire house, I went to L.I.P. and Bobby was the person helping me with selections, I told him I would be getting the floors installed in the spring of 2018. This gentleman was so patient showing me various types of floor boards displaying pieces so that I got a good visual of what it will look like and explaining about the different types of material and everything there is to know about flooring. He was not in a rush to sell me anything he cautioned me to take my time before I make a selection because he said once it's installed you have to look at it and live with it everyday. I called him a few times when I had a question he took the time to answer my question or call me back if he could not speak with at the time. Due to other work being done in my home I did not get the floor boards purchased from L.I.P. and installed by Eastern Wood until Nov. 2018. I had three boxes of the hardwood leftover I called him and he said as long as the boxes are unopened I can return them, I returned them and was told I will receive my refund check in about ten days, I received the full refund check in about a week. In previous Reno I shopped at this L.I.P. location and had excellent service with another salesman and experienced the same great service. Good business practice L.I.P. keep it up you will be around always, the BIGBOX stores should take lessons from Bobby and the sales staff at L.I.P. Price and Quality is on par with service.
