I'd give zero stars to this so called Dentist. I had a filling which turned into a root canal which turned into a nightmare, injured nerve, pain and suffering. She is a terrible and negligent dentist as well as an inconsiderate human being. First, she never offered to refer me to an endodontist - I guess due to greed, she decided to do my root canal herself (which I doubt I ever needed) and collect the high fees she charges. It took 4 hours to do the root canal, she was constantly in a hurry running from one patient to another patient. I was sitting in the room waiting and waiting with my tooth half open. Some of the dental work was even done by her assistant who was not certified to do dental work. After the root canal, I was in an excruciating pain for months until another doctor fixed it. She continually denied that it was caused by her work. She even cemented the crown on my painful tooth! I was a perfectly healthy and happy person before I met her. I deeply regret seeing her and having her go near my teeth. One visit cost me lots of pain, suffering, devastation, thousands of dollars spent on doctors to recover, inability to work for a year and fear of having another dentist touching my teeth. She is just a disgusting, greedy and shallow person who should not have the opportunity to be a doctor and hurt another human being. Don't let her hurt you! Find another dentist. read more

I love going to Dr. Nemec! I never have to wait, they take care of whatever situation is happening in my mouth and even though I lie about my commitment to flossing, they don't judge. I cannot express how much I love (Yes Love) my dentist now. Dr. Nemec is what I hope all are lucky enough to get as a dentist. She is very polite, professional, and still very funny. You can see she really cares about her patients and she is a perfectionist when it comes to her work. I have been going to Dr. Nemec since I arrived in Los Angeles in 1997. She has always taken care of me and has had very good hygienists help me with my maintenance between visits. She always answers my many questions and makes time in her busy schedule to look at any problem and give me options. The best instance of this was in 2010 when I developed heat sensitivity on a tooth while out of town on a job. I had no time to see a local dentist in Detroit. My one day in LA before going out of town for Christmas was a Saturday and Dr. Nemec, with the assistance of her husband Dr. Tom, worked on my tooth. On their day off. Problem solved. I have been going to Dr. Nemec since she took the practice over from my previous dentist who was retiring. She is the best dentist I have ever had. When I lived out of state I had to visit another dentist and he commented that the crowns, fillings and other work that she had done was some of the best he had seen. Dr. Nemec has handled numerous crowns, root canals and a variety of other issues and it has all been perfect. She has also fixed and significantly improved work done by other dentists when I lived out of state. Her staff is friendly and knowledgable as well. Her fees are reasonable, especially when you consider the superior quality of her work. She is also a very nice person and has a great sense of humor. read more

Our whole family loves Dr. Nemec and Dr. Tom. We would not consider going to anyone else. We hope they never retire. The most competent and gentle dentist we have ever met. Never a complaint has crossed my mind. While I would rather eat ice cream and pizza then go to any dentist, I put my mouth and teeth care in their hands when they call to remind me of a cleaning or check up. Sharon Nemec is a superb dentist. She is an artist that uses her dental instruments rather than a brush or a mound of clay. Proof in point: I had a protruding lower tooth in front, a major and prominent tooth that had to be pulled. All the dentists and orthodontists, all quite well known, that I elicited opinions, suggested very expensive and time consuming procedures. Dr. Nemec suggested making a double crown replacement to fill the hole. She sculpted and had the lab make what now resides in my mouth. Looks like real teeth, feels like real teeth, and saved me many thousands of dollars. No other dentist or orthodontist, with all of their degrees, honors, and experience, could imagine,create,and resolve my problem so artistically as Dr. Nemec's successful innovation. read more

We have been coming here with both our kids for years. Dr Nemec and staff are wonderful (our children went to school with her children--as a parent, she is great with kids). Great, personable manner--AND very helpful working out the details of insurance and billing (we have Delta Dental). The staff are really knowledgeable and always go the extra mile. Price is always reasonable, and we've gotten good referrals from them for braces. They never recommend unnecessary work. We are super happy with their practice! read more

This dentist is terrible and only in it for the money. They offer NO financing and every crown and root canal she did ended up in an abcess having to have the tooth pulled by her partner who "convienently" did not take any insurance. They also have a horrible dental lab and had to have a bridge done 3 times and it still doesnt fit. They drained me of a LOT of money with insurance rates. I now go to a new dentist who informed me that ONLY an entadontist should deal with root canals especially on someone like me with an autoimmune disease as well as informing me that some of the work that they recommended did not need to be done. She is not specialized to deal with them however had them done by her unknowingly. They are a bunch of money hungry scam artists that do terrible work and put you through a lot of pain and suffering for nothing. Please go atleast get another consult if you decide to go with this office (first). They will drain you of all your finances and have no regard for those who are unemployed, as well as their new front office manager is a total bitch and wont return phone calls. I how have a fabulous new dentist who does offer financing as my works is extensive and i had NO pain even with a quadruple root canal done in one day!! read more
