That was all it took. He was stuck with us after that! The moment I had dental insurance, I brought my entire family to his practice. Over the years, Dr. Gosleib and his wonderful team have taken the time not only to care for our teeth, but also to genuinely get to know us. They remember what is happening in our lives, ask follow-up questions, and somehow make going to the dentist feel like catching up with friends, just with more instruments in your mouth. Recently, during what I thought would be a completely routine cleaning, they discovered a problem with one of my front teeth. Thanks to Dr. Gosleib's quick decision-making and thoughtful referral, I should be able to save my tooth. I am incredibly grateful that they caught the problem when they did. After seven years, I don't think of Dr. Gosleib and his team as simply our dental office anymore. They have become friends who also happen to make sure we keep all our teeth! Thank you, Dr. Gosleib and team, for the kindness, excellent care, and genuine concern you have shown my family over the years.

I've been coming to Dr. Sands for a few years now. They have always been friendly, professional,…read moreand detail oriented. I've always appreciated their automated appointment reminder systems. I love that everyone recognizes and says hey when I visit, and I can't even begin to describe how well they handled Covid precautions making me feel safe to visit even throughout the pandemic. Since I've love coming to this place for years, I decided to trust them to straighten my teeth. It's something I've always wanted and I couldn't be happier with the work of Dr. Sands. The process was a breeze from start to finish. I attached the before and after photos. What a difference! So happy I chose to book a cleaning appointment here years ago. There's so many dental offices in the Valley, but few are as good as Dr. Sands and her team.

I would normally just walk away from an unpleasant, high-strung experience. Humans are complex…read morecreatures. What I champion in a world of polarity, control and reactivity, is more communication and receptivity, which may have been lacking on this day at this office and with Dr. Sands. I too take accountability for any miscommunication. Upon arriving I quickly gave the latest information to the hygienist (she did my cleaning last time). I informed her that I sometimes take the prophylaxis but that I did not have it at this time. I briefly explained that I just returned from a long journey out of the country and that my insurance had changed and that I have just secured an appointment with a new Dr. to get a script. With a newer diagnosis of LAFB, I was unsure if it was a big deal or not to forgo the prophylaxis. I thought that the DDS could give me a script for it (because you can take it within two hours) but was informed otherwise at the front desk. It was my choice and responsibility to medicate or not. She left the room for a long bit and then returned to continue with the cleaning. There was no discussion on the prophylaxis. I let it go. I'd done it without before. She then said that she needed to take 6 new x-rays. I said that I would sign off on that because I was planning on doing my onlay in the next few months and didn't want to do the x-rays twice. I have never followed the prescribed x-ray protocol and only did it when necessary. She then disappeared. After about 10 long minutes, Dr. Sands came in and introduced herself. She then asked what my fear was around x-rays. I shared with her that it was not a fear but that I did not want to do unnecessary and extra procedures and then do it again in the next couple of months before my onlay. I wanted to focus on the one tooth and upcoming procedure . As most DDS's, she gave me the usual lecture on x-rays, protocols and legalities. I am aware. I get it. I have signed off before. We were focusing on one tooth. I just wanted consideration around the scenario of the big picture and upcoming procedure. She then said it was now too late to do the cleaning and that I would have to come back. But that we could not rebook until they took all six x-rays and did the exam. Breath. Was she really going to give me an ultimatum? At this point, I just wanted to move on. It was a cleaning. I wanted to move on and book my onlay. So I trusted and relented. I was glad to have Dr. Sands do the exam as it was her practice. The hygienist was now going to take the six new X-rays. Two in the front, which wasn't even in question or a problem. Protocol. While I applaud Doctors and Nurses, I feel that the medical establishment is often over stepping. I have experienced and seen plenty. I require my boundaries, rights and sensibilities to be honored and respected where reasonable. The hygienist took the first x-ray rather quickly, and then the second. I could not see her face as she had a mask on the whole time, but I could feel her nervousness. As she pulled out the second X-ray, I took a breath and said, please, just do it right the first time. Well, as I was saying this the second x-ray came up on the screen distorted. Bad timing. Another breath. I said, the same thing happened with my mammogram. I at no time was upset or disrespectful. I was calm, only disappointed. She ran out of the room, triggered. I could hear her asking if someone else could take the x-ray because there was an overlay. I heard Dr. Sands asked if there was an overlay on my teeth. No. A few minutes later Dr. Sands comes into the room and tells me to leave her practice as I don't want to abide by her protocols and that I was "mean" to her hygienist and upset her. Wow. She goes to grab my purse and says that she will walk me to the door! I am surprised by this reactivity. I am calm and watching the whole scenario. I tell her that there is no need for her to walk me to door. I take my things and tell the hygienist that I'm sorry that she got nervous. I leave. What a fiasco. The times before when I had my cleaning, Dr Sands was not in the office. The hygienist felt calm and confident. The energy was completely different this time. It's great that Dr Sands is protective of her employees. It's great that she holds a high bar to her ideals. It's also unfortunate that her reactivity was way over the mark on that day. That she read the room wrong, and that she read me wrong. "Mean" is not something I have ever been described as. Honestly, if anyone deserves an apology, it would be to me. I felt unheard, unaccommodated, condescended to and well, scapegoated. As a woman close to my pier group I would consider more from Dr. Sands. I would hope that she would consider her part in handling this and take accountability for this human foible. No defenses needed, but an acknowledgment and fair response would be up to par.

This review is written with all honesty and based on my personal experience:…read more My mother and I had new patient appointments this past Saturday for 8AM. We arrived a bit earlier since we didn't know exactly what to expect. I ended up parking in their building (big mistake) and then proceeded to head up to the suite. We waited there until the receptionist made it in just a tad bit before our appointment time. She was very nice and patient with me and my mother. Customer service is great, no doubt. But then, she proceeds to tell both of us that we won't be seeing the dentist today, she had an emergency, but the services will still be rendered. (Our old dentist closed their office so we were referred here) first time for me, but I was ok with it, no other choice really. Our lovely hygienist was there and that made the environment feel a bit better. They took complete x-rays of my mouth first, they used a newer machine that is modern technology to scan internally my whole mouth. Tech was pleasant and explained everything. I was told the dentist will review my images and set up a treatment plan. I wanted to get my teeth whitened but they couldn't accommodate me for that service. I had to reschedule to come back next weekend for another consult, I don't think I will be coming back. I hardly have free time and I wanted to take care of my health on the first visit. (Mind you I rescheduled it from May, so availability is far out) the latest hour of the day is not convenient to my needs which is why I went with a Saturday. I also work Saturdays so my availability doesn't meet theirs. This won't be working out for me. Then I saw the hygienist and I asked her my personal questions about my dental health, she was very helpful, gentle and informative. In conclusion, I didn't really leave satisfied and felt a bit off, just my intuition. Cons: parking is expensive, as a new patient, I would have appreciated being told what to expect, where I can park, etc. I almost lost my ticket and when I went back, no other human being was around the parking lot, or lobby, I went back to the dentist office but they didn't seem to know how to help me. (Luckily, my mother found it and called me right away) I ended up paying $16.50 for a total of 3 hours spent there. The staff told me to park on the street next time.

She was always polite, and addressed all of my questions and concerns with the utmost level of professionalism. To her assistant who made sure I was comfortable during my procedure, took care of all my dental X-rays (hope I'm saying that part right), and if I had any questions she was very patient with me and all of my concerns. I mean...what can I say. The entire staff is on point, everyone there does their job and they do it exceptionally well. They dot every i and cross every T. Nothing is missed or forgotten. All of the ladies who assistance Lora and Dr Diana. Thank you as well. Sorry for biting one of your fingers. To Dr. Lora and Dr Diana. I can't thank you both enough. They literally helped turn my frown upside down. I wasn't able to smile for about 20 plus years. I hated every picture I was in. I was self conscious and honestly it really messed with my self esteem. If you're looking for a new Dentist. Stop looking don't waste any more of your time. Regardless of what your questions and concerns are.....they'll all be met. They knew I was concerned about how I'd be taking care of my bill and Dr Lora and her assistant at the front desk helped me figure everything out. I've been to other dentists where once the procedure was done their primary concern was payment. But not here. Dr Lora and Dr Diana both made sure I wasn't in any pain, and all of the exceptional work they did for me was finished without a single issue. Also. I have to say this again....Dr Lora , whenever she had to administer any shots of novocaine she NEVER ONCE STRUCK A NERVE. I had to get some work done and it took about 6 hours. I had just came in after work. I fell asleep while Dr Lora took care of my busted grille. The entire time I was asleep she never ever poked or hit one of my nerves. Do you know how much skill that takes. All of my Previous dentists suuuuuucked. They sucked. It was always a painful hellish experience. And I hated the very idea of going to the dentist. Everyone that works for and alongside Dr Ida is exceptional at their job. The ladies at Dr Idas are masters of their craft. I'm beyond satisfied with the outcome. Once they finished And handed me a mirror I swear it was perfection....also I think someone was cutting onions in the next room or something because my eyes got a bit watery. . . I've had the same barber for the last 22 years. I think it's safe to say it's going to be the same type of situation at Dr. Idas. Now if I can only find a doctor as good as my dentist. I'll be set for. Thank you to everyone who took care of every one of my questions and concerns. I can't tell you how happy you guys have made me. If you need a new dentist.
